How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

I must be the oldtimer in the crowd... 69. I've played all versions, starting with GT3 and going back to get GT1 and 2 later. Completed all game with all golds in 2, 3 and 4, including a 100% Aspec game.

Turned 18 in June. If they would of had GT on the Nintendo 64 i would of been playing it longer, lol, but since i didnt get a PS1, i started with GT3 on the PS2, and i still have GT1 though, lol, i also got GT4 (still been playing a little of that with some Prologue) but i cant wait till tomorrow when i go to Gamestop and get my GT5

gran turismo 1 is the reason i even got a playstation. i was in sears as a kid and my mom couldnt pull me off the demo, so she ended up buyin me a ps1 and gran turismo. been playing GT ever since. Im 20 now

I'm 38 and never played a GT game. I like racing games though and enjoyed Need for Speed way back on my 3do and Road Rash was great as well. This will be my first ps3 racing game and will pick it up tomorrow. I'm sure I will enjoy it.

Holly crap that is blast from the past. I remember when you first came to GT.com, acting like a very annoying little teen Good to see you are still going at it.

BTW I used to post at gt.com as Nathan, then later chose this tag I use now. I used to be involved in the GTOLR and later CORE if you remember those organizations that wrote the online racing rule book. I used to remember thinking that I hope when I am old I don't lose my passion for gaming and GT

I was 18 or 19 when I started my obsession with GT. I am 31 now, more involved with GT than ever, and that is the way it will stay.

33 years old. Imported Gran Turismo for the PS1 in 1997 and been playing all of them ever since. I have imported GT2, GT3 Prologue, GT3, GT4, GT Concept 2001 Tokyo, and GT Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva. Also picked up the US versions of GT2, GT3, and GT4.

I will agree with HondaKid86. Even people who didn't like cars, do now, thanks to Polyphony Digital and Yamauchi's passion for cars.

I hope to catch up with some of you online and I am excited to play this game.

Got a PS1 for Christmas '00, played the GT2 demo that came with the system and was hooked! Now that I think about it, that was before I even knew you could tune. I just thought it was an awesome looking racer with real world cars.

This game also got me into cars. I remember finding the history(I think thats what it was called.) where it gave you a history of the car. Man, one night I sat down and read every one for every car. I remember telling my friends, "theres a whole world of cars we know nothing about! Skylines, Lancers(that was before the weak ass American version was out) did you know there isn't even a Lexus or Acura in Japan?!?" I was literally drunk with info.
