hi folks.
maybe off topic but i couldnt find anything about my question.
i know you did some progress with in game cameras.
here is my trouble.i want to change camera angle.i like to play with 3rd person (outside )cam.but gt4 cam is very sticky.it dosent tilt very much.is there a way to adjust camera tilt -angle -height vs. in prologue or gt3 outside cameras more dinamic.you can see frtont tiers whie turning or easy to see cars sides.
gt4 can do that but very limited and at low speeds.may be a code or something.if you can help.
i m looking for this till gt4 firs came.i love this game and if i can see wheels spinning .i will love much more:)
Thanks.

Does anybody have the codes for the 1998 Mini 1.8i for NTSC U/C GS or CB or both I can't do the emulator on the computer that I am using, because it is my grandfather and he does not want programs like emulators on it and he is very conscience of hard drive space.

i'm taking small break from hybriding GT4 untill the 30th of this month and gonna try and retrace my steps and see where i went wrong with the whole thing.

As there is no proper debugger for PS2 yet, I guess finding it is impossible.

lets hope anyone who have ARMAX or GS+Max drive, can help find the correct code first. If it just creating savegame, I can do it.

ok :).

Sucahyo,

I was wondering if you could tell me how to convert PHaste to raw. I am using MAXConverter to get the ARMAX codes but I need the addresses in raw format.

I have deduced that the address for RAW is

raw = PHaste + $6E1F

but am not sure if this is right. I tried the downforce code and by my maths is 20A31520 (RAW)
which is based on your claim of
20A2A701 (PHaste)

i converted the RAW to AR MAX and it locked up, before it even got to the SCEE loading page

Cheers

I was mostly interested in getting downforce on non race cars, but found out that the Race mod codes do that.

But still, I would like to know how to convert the PHaste into RAW because 105 setting using F1 race mod is still not enough downforce, I want to try 255 ($FF) like I used to do in GT2&3.

Gingiba, do you know if Sucahyo put has this on a forum anywhere? PHaste to RAW converting I mean.

Cheers

I'm not aware of any other forum where Sucahyo posted anything like that...

However, if you give me an example of a RAW code similar to those, I might figure it out myself. Say, the RAW code for a Minolta engine, and the ARMax code. I've got the PHASTE one already.

The address for PAL ARMAX from PAL PHaste should be:
raw = PHaste + $6E80

so $6E80 not $6e1F

The address for NTSC Gameshark from PAL PHaste should be:
raw = PHaste + $1CB80

sounds like we're a little bit closer to cracking the codesfor the NTSC Version....... I was out of it for a while....... I'm crosssing my fingers

thanks for that sucahyo and for your contribution gingiba.

Have you placed a list of the car code names anywhere because I can't work out what body codes apply to which car

for example
which is the Ford model T out of
ford0003 - ford0015 body codes

or is it a matter of trial and error?

cheers

I did it with trial and error, though I recall the Model T was not below 0009 (I tried doing a raceable Model T - didn't work)

On that note - all hail the Heller SLK-R. A7.3l AMG powerplant tuned by Pagani delivers 560HP, and a custom race-suspension tuned by McLaren provides the handling it needs. A custom-fabricated Carbon Fibre spaceframe chassis ensures maximum performance, with the car tipping the scales below 1000KG. In addition, the engine was relocated to the rear, achieving perfect 50:50 balance in weight.
Also in the package comes the Heller SLK-R "Black Edition". Naturally, it comes in Obsidian Black, with the 7.3l AMG powerplant tuned even further, delivering a shocking 620HP from the naturally-aspirated block. Further weight-saving measures ensure the car is even lighter than the regular version. In addition, the suspension has been replaced with a rock-hard Racing version developed in conjunction with Abt's DTM division. While the race-spec exhaust system unlocks more performance out of the system, unfortunately the Black Edition is track-only, and may not be used on the street. Though, since switching to the road-version is just a button's click away, it's not such a big drawback ;)

So it is possible to hybrid any car? sorry, i haven't checked this topic in ages

I really want to get into this now. I'm just very confused about how to hybrid in GT4. I downloaded the Ps2 Save builder that was mentioned in someones post, but what program would be used to edit the codes?

I also have the emulator (I forgot what its called, lol) and am going to try to get GT4 up and running on it.

meh, i just found out that the emulator that i have is epsxe. will it work on that? I tried to load it up but to no avail.

You can change the colours of a car only to the colors it usually comes with - including special liveries, of course - but not to colours which don't usually come on the car. Which prevents an uber-awesome TVR Reflex-coloured Mazda 787B from being created.

Hi

@Sucahyo: We (The Hybridfamily from gtrp.de) are work at your Bodycodelist....One workes from A to Z and i work from Z to A.
A to M and V to End is ready. When we have the List completed i send it to You.

Now i have a Question: When i do take a Body on a Car..is there a Way that i can take a other Color? The most Bodys are Black or White...
