Ok, so .. I just started learn hybriding last night (at last) and got pcxs2 working really nice and fast.
I haven't done anything yet because the corruption problem is distracting me.
First I transferred my own gt4 save to the pcsx memory card with the boot.elf / cd image method and got it working, or so i thought.
The current car works like it should but only some of the others work as well. It seems to be totally random which cars work and which doesn't.
One car with zero mileage and no upgrades works but another similar one doesn't which has been upgraded and driven. Still there are other cars which work regardless of upgrades or mileage.
Then I loaded a hybrid garage with the V6 Honda Beat and Lexus which I've been playing a lot.
I had bought the save a couple new cars with PS2 earlier and none of them works, only the cars which had been originally saved in the emulator worked when playing in pcsx.
Is there any new info about this bug what causes it or anything how to get around it?
I've been thinking my own way but it's pretty slow one:
* First, hybrid a car you want and save it, then extract and transfer the save to PS2.
* On PS2, buy a new car and enter into it, you should get now a working hybrid to your garage that's not your current car (if this works).
* Then transfer the save back to your computer, start pcsx and hybrid the new car you bought or buy a new one.
It looks possible that the encryption key used to save your garage is calculated from the platform (hardware) you're running GT4 with or, something like this..
So, until the pcsx2 team releases a new version with emulates the hardware 100% we won't get easy way to build garages full of hybrids
Edit: I'd like to have the all parts purchased and 1.000.000.000 credits codes for PAL, in phaste format (couldn't find them anywhere)
