People, let's try not to flood suca with requests, please,he's already with lots of work. This is my fault since i started it,but I realized that was a mistake.Things will eventually get ready, and we all will be able to do our own hybrids. We just have to be patient.

BTW,where's the cockpit code that you're talking about, christthedude?

I can wait, I know he has done alot of work and still has alot to do.
I am just glad that we are so very close to making hybrids when ever we want:).

Currently downloading the second file... I'll be back with reports ASAP.

EDIT: Results:

All are corrupted, apart from the GSX-R/4. Which, I have to say, sucks. It seems like it still has those 170HP from the original... and only has the same torque.I'm sorry... I'll try the Miata save now.

Specs on the Suzuki: In the garage, named "Escudo D/T Car". 490HP, 34Kg.f of torque. It should be one of the quickest-ever cars with those specs, but it seems like the actual car still is the same while driving. I checked the weight, and found the answer: It weighs an astonishing 1337KG. Leet! But this must be the reason for the slow handling.

EDIT 2: Results for the Miata:

900HP (approx.), but 2700KG (approx.)! Why? Both of the cars have high power, but extremely high weight as well. Does it have to be this way?
But boy, that Miata is fun. Unpredictable, but you can actually LIFT A WHEEL!

Slow?It has F1 tyres lol,i thought it was too quick turning lol. When you are accelerating, the car swings all the weight to it's back,i think it is because the tyres are so sticky and it accels fast. But yeah, since the stats were taken from other car,it also gets the wieght.butit still reachs 300KMH pretty fast.

For now,it has to,since suca doesn't have the specific chassis,engine,turbo and such car codes.That 2700KG are from a CL45 or something.It's from a benz.

EDIT:This is in a early stage,we have to be patient.I'm just as exited as you are,and i really want this, but we have to wait.

Hmm,that's good to know,i forgot to try it when i was playing with it.Did you tryed turbo or muffler mods?did it change the horsepower?

I know I shouldn't be complaining.. But why not just the engine, with the same chassis?

The Miata is one hell of a drifter, but too unpredictable doing so. 170 degree drifts which are rescue-able are not a rare sight with this car. Braking is a nightmare: It takes a second, but you'll be lucky if you don't spin with it. It gives the impression of an SUV, with that high position driving.

Update: You can mod the car like a regular Miata, so suspension, Wing, oil and rims were changed by me.

Tops out at 167MPH, 23 seconds down the 1000M strip.

I modded what I could with the 10k Cr. that were on the save. Original Turbo, Mufflers, Tranny-mods, everything available like on the regular Miata.

what would be the modded horsepower?

The car comes from Suca equipped with:
  • R. Muffler
  • Stg.3 Turbo
  • Chip
  • Supercharger

With the Stg.3 Turbo and the rest, plus oilchange, it's 943HP - more than the Skylines! With the supercharger, it has a completely flat torque&power curve (~650HP). Due to an unknown reason, the suspension only lets you adjust a bit, so there's nothing to do about the bouncyness and extreme instability. I'll post a replay in a minute.

Something I noticed: Handling is so soft, it bottoms out under braking, meaning that braking needs to be done much earlier. And in a very straight line...

Pictures coming up!

BTW, Suca... If you need any help in the programming bits, I could summon up the nerd in me for help.

And here's something that needs testing: Making non-rallyable cars rally. Lets try a BMW M3, with a 4WD loaned from a different car?
For further testing of anything, just ring the bell. I've got 4/7 days a week to spend on GT4...

Watching the replays of the Miata is terrific. It seems about as stable as a nuclear bomb...

And one last thing: seems like only the first car loaded works, when hybrided. Which could be why the Primera and others didn't load.

ARRRRGH! I spend 15 minutes taking pictures of the car, and then I discovered my USB was locked. :grumpy:

Attached: Two replays!

suca discoered some codes for aramax for cockpit view, and i tested it for him ;)

suca, anything new? :)

You can test the two hybrids, as well. I think we have to ask someone from the drift community to try and hold this car for a whole lap. I can't control it one bit...

Out to further test the Miata. Perhaps I'll even start a new gamesave with it.

The Miata is so Heavy because it needs a Lotus elise chasis or one Similar in Milimeter size with similar wheel base, So they don't look weird, It's much lighter and nearly the same in size, Then you can do a weight reduction to make it even lighter like in GT3.

But I never heard of a 2700KG Elise. Perhaps 5 Elises that weigh 2700KG...

Probably a Mercedes or something. It weighs a lot, but the suspension is still extremely soft, with not much room for customization. Suca, care to tell us the exact specs, and what car they were taken from?

I currently have a game save that do not mix tire from three wheels car with 4 wheels car. I hope this will not give corrupted problem anymore, thanks for the feedback PlayGuy and Gingiba. I will upload it tomorrow. I have internet problem this couple of days.

Since I have to do a lot of hybrid compatibility test the gamesave will contain many car.

I never realize that the car weight also increased . All I do for miata is changing tire and changing power. I try to find out what caused it............

Sadly, no. I can't find where PD keep the camera angle address. If PCSX2 has better debugger maybe I could find it.

Miata only receive some modification, tire, power and damper 20 :P

this is a crazy break through. one thing i dont get. are you somehow playing gt through your computer? sorry im a noob at hybridding but i just dont get it. also, why do the cars come out WICKED choppy
It's choppy because I use the worst possible GPU plugin. It will be look a lot like in console if you use the Directx9 graphic plugin.

ok suca, bring on the gamesave,me and gingiba will test it out ;) .Do you think that the game crashed when i used the motor carriage(it worked on my save gengiba) because of the three wheel stuff?

Lookin' good, that RS. Perhaps a test of Drivetrain-change as well? The Primera was corrupted back then. Clio V6 should have a similar lenght.

Now, how exactly did you change the power? A multiplier, or a new engine?

And that extreme damper seems too soft for a 20. I mean, most cars use 5-7 in GT4 comfortably.

My guess would be that, if it's a new engine, it came together with the chassis of the engine-donor car, similar to the way the GSX-R/4 got those 1400KG.

Previous crash maybe caused by wheel incompatibility, I use the same 4 wheel now. To increase power I change what looks like multiplier, maybe it is not just for power. I feel more natural seeing car with damper value of 20 in GT2, so I thought I would like to see car with that damper value in GT4. You can always set the damper to normal by buying supension upgrade or entering suspension setting screen and reequip standard suspension.

Thanks for offering programming help Gingiba, I will notify you if I need it.

I will prepare my gamesave and post it today.

BTW, PlayGuy, I use your Motor Wagen picture as my avatar :).

So with the Suzuki you just changed the horsepower but it also changed the weight?
I guess that means there still alot of work to do. Tonite I will try to get the porgrams needed
to put a ARmax save in Pcsx2 so maybe I can help out. Because I do have a computer with Directx9.

Yes and thanks :).

Here is the game save:
http://d.turboupload.com/d/1497916/hybrid12car.max.html

Contain:
1500bhp R33 Vspec
8kg FR Civic
bluebird with skyline engine
Ford focus with tank car tire and civic engine
Nardo with beetle wheel and wing upgrade
Elise with RAM tire and black Elise wheel
GT One with motor carriage tire, reduced power and added wing
motor carriage with miata wheel and F1 engine
An FR Primera with silvia stats
800hp Alfa ROmeo 155, with 0/0/0/0 damper, my version of BTCC alfa.

I hope so.......

What I know:
- id in GT4 is 2 byte, unlike 8 byte in GT3.
- I currently have engine code, tire code, chassis code, car code, drive train code, wheel code, gear code, and suspension code. It could be more.
- I can only able to change currently in use car
- there is some compatibility issue with wheel and tire
- we can put wing on car that do not support it, but I don't know what will happen
- changing drive train and engine reflected in the car stat.

I guess the first thing I want to try if I get GT4 up and running is try to put a
stage 4 turbo on the Suzuki. That I would think should up the horsepower.

Lock & Load!

Save is ready, now the sister has to finish watching her movie...

The Carriage is the 4-wheeled one, right? Perhaps the other one could receive Midget-wheels?
