Pretty sure there are plenty of settings in getting feedback/deadzones sorted. I use the same wheel as you, DFGT, so if someone can confirm that, it'd be great.

There are...with both wheel and controller.

For the 6axis, I had a huge deadzone on the throttle, and because I'm rocking such a badass older car, throttle input was essential to prevent me from spinning - so I roll with no deadzone. I reduced the steering sensitivity too - so now its more like GT5P.

I'm sick of this game constantly freezing and lagging. It's as if developers are releasing games as completed when they're actually in an almost beta stage because they know they can fix it up with DLC. At least I hope there will be some to fix up all the million problems.

It'd help if any of the stupid EA sites would load. Countless other people are having the same problems, I simply cannot load any EA site.

Does somebody mind reporting my problems as well?

- In Quick Race, Drift, there's no engine sounds at all.

- Some races in Tier 3 have a very loud, annoying static noise during races. No other game or sets of races have this problem.

- A.I sometimes gets stuck on a wall after crashing.

- FFB randomly cuts off, however this has only happened twice.

- The wheel moves with the car on replay mode when it hits a rumble strip.

- The wheel sometimes does a full spin after a race, and when you start off the race the car will fly off to the side.

- Absolutely no way to complain about any of these problems, EA website won't load, EA forums won't load, NFS website won't load, basically anything to do with the EA profile won't load, etc. This also means the Photomode on PS3 is pointless. And before anyone blames my PC, I've tried from the PS3, a different computer, proxies, different browsers, the lot.

- Major lag in game sometimes, causing you to lose control and restart the entire 20 minute race again.

- Menu buttons extremely slow and unresponsive on first press.

- Sometimes I just try the Photomode, even though the error message shows up, my game freezes.

- Grid girl inside your car.

- Car 'bouncing' on certain races.

Thank you to who ever posts these for me. 👍

SHIFT "killed" my PS3, but it is a very good game. Never expected to buy a NFS game anymore, but this one is definately good. Its a bit arcady, but its a blast to drive. The visual representation of speed is overexagurated, but it feels good.

The best thing about the game is the sound and the driver profile with 50 levels.

Do you mean SCC? :odd:

Seriously I can't play that game without serious hiccups ...

SHIFT runs flawless on my PS3.

*Absolutely nothing to do with Sony FW and differently designed PS3 units im sure [irony off*]

Anyone had a Z06 actually work yet? I did the 1 make race and it would rev, but it wouldnt move.

This is a fun game, but there are WAY more bugs than GT5P. Besides the Z06 problem, one race I did all the sound effects sounded like a skipping CD! That was torture, I had to turn the volume off, for that race.

Also, the tier1/tier2 race you guys are thinking about doing is a bad idea IMO. those cars are garbage. It was very difficult for me to drive those cars. Once I got to tier3 my consistency rose exponentially.

And everyone that is in love with the AI- are you guys playing on Hard/Pro? The AI run me off the road every chance they get. They will bang into me, on purpose or not I dont know. The AI will also slam into me in turns, but even on hard I usually win by several seconds if I can get through the mess of retarded AI cars.

To the below post- I have a West Virginia Mountaineers Inspired Porsche GT2. I bleed ,and paint my cars, blue and gold. For some reason my 4 year old wanted green glass though, lol.

Lets Go... MOUNTAINEERS!!!

Well I'm up to tier 3. My first 3 car purchases:

Nissan GT-R 2000 (Tier 1), Porsche Cayman (Tier 2), Lamborghini Mucielago (Tier 3).

Took me a while to get the hang of but more than anything because I turned the HUD off and hadn't raced the circuits before. Have gone back and re-done tier 1 and first placed everything so much easier second time around.

The Ford GT vs Dodge battel was a killer, nearly smashed my PS3 kept getting so close to winning then spinning or doing something stupid on final race, finally got it on about 10th attempt lol. The Lamborghini battle was easy as, won it first go, the two cars are no where near each other on performance, it's what made me invest on the Mucielago it was that good. Also compeltely flipped the other Lambo on teh laguna up hill corner it was awsome.

Have had the wheel veer right on starting happen to me once, but other than that, no bugs.

The Veyron race is hard! But I'm sure on subsequent attempts it'll egt easier, I completely wrecked my car and somehow came 13th. It's actually a hard race becasue you have such a fast car and the racers in front of you go so slow it's hard to pass.

Up to level 11 and 85 stars off tier 4!

I have put in a few hours last night and i'm still a bit Iffy about the game. One of the best races so far was the Elise on the Nurburg, and the 2000 Gtr on Ebisu (man that car was a blast to drive).

So far my complaint is the graphics really aren't that great (was expecting much more) But the interior view and while driving the graphics are nice, just the menu graphics seem to be rough, lots of jaggies.

My main complaint is the lag/lack of throttle response and how loose the cars feel (feels very floaty)...The delay is killing me and i find it can upset the balance of the car, and also the gear changing delay. I have stage 3 upgrades in my s13 240sx and the shifting has gotten better, but that lag/delay in the throttle input gets on my nerves. I'm level 14 and tier 3 at the moment (still doing all the tier 1 races) but i will put some more time in tonight, and also give the online a try. Hoping with the higher end cars and more upgrades the feel will improve.

I have the Throttle and Braking sensitivity at 100%, should i lower it to modulate it better? I wish it was like GT5p or LFS where its set. Wish it had the throttle/brake indicator so i can see how much pushing the pedal is affecting the range.

Also i'm playing on Medium difficulty with PRO physics etc. No auto-clutch etc. It's fun but far from a SIM. And the drifting is a joke, i wish they would have left it out rather than me be this disappointed in it :indiff:

I'm in North America but my PSN is "driftkng" feel free to send me an invite or something if u see me on.

-Robert :)👍

If you using the G25 & 900 degrees, I suggest you REALLY turn the wheel & perform a strong weight shift. Usually works for me, & even if drifting is a joke it feels right on some level. Seems improved than previous NFS games.

Here's a link to control settings guide, especially useful for player with wheels.

http://www.needforspeed.com/web/nfs-na/blogs/need-for-speed-news/-/nfsblogs/116565

I've got a G25.

In a nutshell, set all dead zones to 0, all sensitivity to 50% (to keep all analog inputs linear), speed sensitive steering to 0, wheel angle to 900 (for G25 and similar wheels. Set FFB to taste. Mine's turned up to 10.

These settings give a very progressive feel to the pedal and wheel inputs. The cars feel less twitchy and the clutch take up is also more linear.

I just bought the game, I will be racing online next week although probably with a pad.

It also does'nt put you on your grid slot properly in some races.

There are some very nice cars in tier 1 and 2, actually, like the Audi's and some of the US cars. 👍

I would advise against setting the angle to 900 and reducing the wheel sensitivity to 50%, especially the two combined. It gives you a huge deadzone and steering becomes unresponsive. I've set it to 360 degrees and 100% and there is hardly a deadzone and the steering is very responsive. Keep the pedals at 50% though, they're rather touchy to start with. ;)

Good advice:tup:
When set to 900 degrees it is impossible to get around turns, another less than desirable feature of this game. I would prefer the settings to not be adjustable but be right. LOL

After I drove the Porsche GT2 I will never drive a Tier 1/2 car again. Just my preference.

I find tier 1/2 much more challenging, fun and rewarding ^^

Anyone tried online yet, is it even possible to take your tuned cars from career online ? :nervous:

I'm not much of an online person anymore, so, unfortunately I can't answer your question. :indiff:

I'm sure someone can though.

I just got my hands on the Veyron through an invite and all I have to say is holy 🤬 this mother:censored: is fast. :odd:
I can't really evaluate the audio because I can barely control the damned thing but what I will evaluate is the interior; as the Italians would profess - Molto Bella.

EDIT: Yes it does, Jambo. Yes it does.
