You downloaded it right? I''d rather have the disc version for 2 reasons:
One I haven't invested in a massive HDD for my PS3 yet and the disc will take less space. Two, it'd take a few days maybe more to download a full game on my connection.
I should probably get a HDD before this new game comes out........

nope the game came out on the 15th in my local ebgames which is yesterday.

Right... I'm storming into EB games tomorrow night to buy it. Can't believe I lost two days of gameplay.
I can't download it either. I like my PS3 HDD to be full of music, pictures and Top Gear episodes. đź‘Ť

Bugger. Funny thing is, I actually walked into an EB games shop today, picked up an actual copy to read the back.
I thought it was just a display case they use before games come out.

Yeah I saw last night ebgames.com.au has the game listed as available now, and too many people have picked it up for it to not be the case. I hope though because they are next to each other my jb hi fi will have it for sale or at least that eb will match it.
For anyone who's an ign insider member they have their review up in 720HD for download and it looks sick, although the Bugatti Veyron interior doesn't look realistic as some of the others, but the acceleration looks off the chart. Funny thing is on the ign video there are ea sports billboards everywhere aroudn the tracks on in game footage but on gametrailers there are real advertisers, hopefully the latter is the final build because otherwise those ea signs are eye sores!
How much do you earn per race on average? Saw the price tag of the Veyron is 1,200,000 but the race they showed he won 80,000 so it won't take that long by the looks of it, a lot of the other good cars looked around 140,000.

Money comes quite quickly as you progress through your career... I played up to level 10 of 50 and you keep getting sponsorships along the way.. highest Ive had until now is 60,000 sponsorship... Only have one car at the moment... S2000 has everything that can be put on it at the moment.. Stage II...

This game feels awesome with a G25. I can't stop driving, I always want another lap, absolutely loving it. Once you get the G25 settings right its great. I was mucking around with all the different settings for about 2 hours testing different sensitivities etc and am happy with them now. The first invitational event you get with the lotus at nurburgring feels fantastic. I kept getting shift lock on downshifts so I needed to heel and toe. I replayed that race about 4 times before I moved on because it felt so good lol.

Well, you can actually change that option to 900 in "Option > Gameplay > Driving Adjust (forgot the exact term
)". You can also set the sensitivity of your pedals and steering response according to your liking. 
PositionZero and you were flying on the Ring! And you said you just want to cruise around!
I just couldn't keep up to your pace... as I just completed my 2nd race in career before joining you two. That half an hour cruise on the Ring alone got me from Driver level 2 to 11, thanks for that!

One thing I heard from a mate who has it already is that there's a pretty big deadzone on the wheel and this makes precise steering inputs very difficult... any comments from those who already have the game too?

Everything can be adjusted... from steering sensitivity to dead zone... so it can be changed to your liking... only thing is, its a bit time consuming...

I saw that last night, but didnt fully understand it... What do you think of the tuning?? Kind of simple if you ask me... even more simple then GT5

there's actually an 'advanced' option for tuning, which involves tuning to quite a deep level, like adjusting tyre pressure, steering angle, camber, toe, caster angles, drivetrain setup and so on.

Yup, thats what I was referring too... but by simple I meant the sliders... Is it me or does the slider jump from different values to another?? I cant seem to make fine adjustments if you know what I mean... If I press right once it jumps over a large amount... this is not in all the settings though, ie Downforce..

oh.. I got your point mate.
Yes indeed, it's sometimes kinda annoying that the slider just seems not wanting to stop at the value we want.
Would you mind telling me how you setup your S2000? I found it really oversteery when exiting corners. Its back end kicks out even at low speed (6x km/h). I'm currently having Stage 1 tyres and Stage 1 brakes on, with weight reduction Stage 1.
I'd like to save $$ for buying another car later, so I prefer upgrading my cars when Stage 2 or 3 parts are unlocked.ps: sorry for double posting.

How accurate is the Nurburging compared to GT4's version
Do you get all the tiny bumps in the road and elevation changes or is it more plain Jane like Forza2 and PGR3
