ICGTC Season 4 - Ended

Nothing to report on the race itself. Really good racing everyone.

On a second note. ArtMannn was using stage 3 engine upgrade and will be disqualified for this race.

He is using the DENSO and here is the specs for it

Lexus DENSO DUNLOP SARD SC430
Bhp: 512
Weight: 1130 kg
PP: 609 (With Full Aero)
PL: 95,1%
Allowed Mods: Turbo Stage 2, Rigidity Improvement

No stage 3 engine upgrade within the allowed mods.

We see this on the RPM meter,the red area should start on 7000RPM, in this car it start higher up.

From our rules:
Race Disqualification: This will occur for gross misconduct. I.e. not following the given car specs.

So get yourself a new car and don't install stage 3 ArtMannn.

Leader boards will be changed.

No worries, i'll get a new car. It was actuaaly sent to me as a gift, i had no idea the stage 3 was installed. But howcome this wasn't picked up in pre-season at Spa? I didnt use the car since Spa as i had not practiced on fuji the only thing i changed was the bhp from 522 i dunno why as the specs were fine at Spa.
 
Spa was a pre season and I have to admit I didn't really look deep into those pre season race replay's. I checked SPA for the driving part, but I honestly didn't check every cars specs.

I might have been more focused, but the specs are pretty clear and the rules about it also.

I actually think you can be faster with only the turbo 2 as you don't have to "over use" the power limiter. Car get a lot more power balance.
But I can't be sure and we have to follow the rules. No hard feelings I hope, atleast not from my part. One time mistake is doable for us humans ;)
 
I enjoyed this race a lot , my 1st stint was decent and I pitted about half a second behind immortal and nissman but I got held up in the pit stop and lost about 2 or 3 seconds just in the pits , this made Falcons stop quicker than mine even though he pitted after me and I came out behind Erik . This made me lose sight of the leaders , would of been interesting to see how long I could keep up with them .

Had a fun battle with erik and falcon during the 2nd stint and managed to open a gap from falcon which I managed for the rest of the race . Falcon was definetely faster than me , I think I just timed my pit stops perfectly after that 1st pit stop and that helped me keep the gap.

The overall driving was very clean , good effort by everyone , great season opener.

Can't wait for Tokyo

Dont forget us the backmarkers and newcomers, we actually had a good battle between me, ADR n maxitsu. We battle it out to NOT be last or get lapped :D

Well I think the once you mention here is part of the mid runners, just unlucky or bad tactics changed that. The pace is there, Maxitsu and Bronco out qualified me remember ;) (I did a very bad qualify, but still)
But races are long and consistency beat hot laps ;)

I did talk about the main group, but ye we have some back markers as well, but practice make perfect. I watched the SPA replay and you could go a lot faster with a bit more gentle use of the controller. At least throttle control, you spin your wheels to much and that makes you slower than you actually can be. To be honest I think you drive with traction control daily. Turn everything but ABS off and practice and you see you will get faster.

Hope to see you go faster and faster for each time and have more and more fun in our very competitive group of drivers.

Actually, I never drive with traction control on and always practice with everything off but ABS 1. But my throttle control really does need to improve. I try to be smooth but I seem to get impatient and slam the R2 button. For the upcoming Tokyo race I'm going to do lap after lap of practice to try and get better, and then I'll start to touch the car settings.

i am here if lapi needs some help with the lexus on the tuning part, if artmann needs some help i can try and help him also.. i wish i was there for the 1st race.. fuji was one of my best tracks.. i love that track... i think i could do well with the top 3 i guess?? in august we shall see!

Just read that Motegi is now available in GT Academy , I haven't played Academy since week 2 or 3 , just isn't fun to me really .

Let's see how long it takes us to get Motegi as a dlc .

I'm slightly scared that PD will lose all sense and not release Motegi, hopefully not. It looks like a really nice track.
 
It would be nonsense if PD made Motegi for only GTA and not release it as DLC for GT5. I'm pretty sure we'll get it soon in GT5.

Hi!

A few days later, but I want to write to thank you for the competition.
Although I was very slow ... Nothing is true I went to practice and minimal setup.
But no worries, the essence of a good field, and I have plenty of challenges here! Unfortunately, the next two races should leave. (Working in the evenings).
But if possible could come and then all the other rounds of the tournament start.
So I'm ready for Nürburgring June 30 to compete.
In the meantime, lots of exercise.
Congratulations to everyone, you are very fast!

Persian Pro: Thank you very much for your setup because help.
If you can, maybe a Nürburgring setups are very welcome.
Pm was also talk about it.

To you it a good race, and two weeks later, but come :)

If you want see Motegi early, i should say go for it. Golds are easy to get usually from the first or second try so...
