Naw, I think the Swedish have the Japanese & Americans covered.
loaded-01_resize.jpg

Modified w/ 532rwhp, but even has the mighty Spec-V covered on the everyone's favorite benchmark, the 'Ring. :P

EDIT: Never mind. I guess people will believe what they want to believe. I'll just say the exception doesn't represent the majority.

Exactly what I was thinking. Except instead of wasting time and effort best spent elsewhere, I posted something that would cause the same outcome as if I were to have
...made a perfectly reasonable and valid set of points.
yet reflected how little mental effort I planned to spare to replies which have obviously been covered in past debates.

Enough said.

Is that like a retired JGTC NSX or something? It's got the right wing, the engine, or is that the Mugen version?

I've always wondered what the advantage of having a chunk of the fender missing behind the front wheel. Is this aesthetics only? See it all the time on fd's and s2k body kits

I guess paired with a splitter and flat underpanel, it would help with removing air from under the car, reducing lift/increasing downforce.

Also, I'm not sure but I think it might help with turbulence around the wheel area, but that's just a guess.

Yeah, it also has to do with the flow of air exiting the wheel well which is at a higher pressure than the air flow outside. The design of the exit will help reduce stall and flow separation and also probably increase wind velocity to more smoothly merge the exiting air flow with the outside air flow.

A very simple, fundamental display of flow but you get the idea.

Some people here might like to know that after 3 sessions, the Sierra Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution IX, from the United States, is currently in 1st place at the World Time Attack currently going on in Australia. Somewhat close on its heels are the Cusco Tomei Impreza and Panspeed RX7, whilst the Cyber EVO and Hi-Octane R34 are having major issues. And as they are announcing rain tomorrow, it's very possible the standings won't move too much.

And an unrelated picture.

Indeed. It's nearly as fast as the lap record for the V8 Supercars series... incredible car.

Also, that's probably the best Genesis coupe I've seen yet (in a purely cosmetic sense).

There wouldn't happen to be a stream somewhere we could watch?

Yes, that is one amazing machine! Very impressive, properly done, aerodynamic work, among other things. Too bad rare examples don't account for the majority. And yes, are there any videos of the event?

EDIT: Not necessarily streaming(?)

Stick to those guns!

Says the guy who posted some generic cars when trying to prove him otherwise!

Awesome car though, that Evo. I wonder what's going on with the Hi-Octane GT-R though, I thought it would be up there in the ranks for sure.

I love Rotiforms, I almost wish they made them in smaller sizes and a 4x100 bolt pattern. I think I could almost rock them and they aren't stupidly expensive either at $300/wheel. To bad they've been whored out to the VW crew.

I approve of Porsche wheels too!
