But, if you want to be pace car, and no one else has any objections, I'd tell you to use a Chevy Camaro. The Camaro just screams "Indy Pace Car," since as long as I can remember. Or Corvette C7, I dunno. But, the Nissan pace car is too overdone, and just isn't awesome enough.

Rally, if I can't make it then of course you can be the pace car. But I'm pretty much free all day Saturday. So far, I wouldn't be able to make it if the date is anything else but Saturday as far as I know. Schedules can and do change. I signed up for it about a month ago so if it's possible for me to do it, then I want to do it. I don't know if I have as much experience as you, but I do practice pacing on a somewhat regular basis and I can definitely hold a steady speed.

Dave, don't take my attendance into any concern with scheduling the event. If I make it, I make it. If not, you have Rally as a back-up.

Dave, you should delete some people that you never talk to off of your friend's list so that you can add all the people who signed up and send a group reminder message for the race. (For those people who get on their PS3 but don't check the forums often.) Not to mention, we're unable to add you at this time, which it would be nice to be able to be able to send you a friend request ourselves.

It would make finding the Race Lounge via GT Mode>Community>TDZ-4-12-14-88 possible for us instead of having to type in the number of the room after you post it in the thread in GT Mode>Open Lobby>Specify Room Number.

I agree with opening an hour before for qualifying. Dave has already authorized me to take qualifying times when he is not around. If Dave doesn't open the room at 11:00 GMT, then I will host and we'll follow the original qualifying that was posted of 1 warm and 4 hot. You know what? I'll open the room at 10:00 GMT so people can have some practice time with other drivers on the track.

ok cool, here's how thing's will happen, peelster, is going to host the room, I wwon't be able to qualify so I will start at the rear, if we cant get more then 6 people show up it will be abandoned, at the moment we have 5,

Due to the way we are now having to do things, here's what I think should be the new qualifying procedure.

1. Practice will be from 10:00 GMT until 11:00 GMT. Qualifying will be from 11:00 GMT to 12:00 GMT. The race will start at 12:00 GMT.
2. Everyone gets 1 attempt at qualifying.
3. Qualifying will be done when the room is set to "Free Run".
4. Qualifying will be 1 warm-up lap and 4 hot laps. (1 not timed, 4 timed by the game.)
5. Fastest laps will not be worried about. The overall time at the end of the 4 laps will be required for me to calculate your qualifying position. (I will take down all lap times and total them up.)
6. The shortest total time will get the Pole, 2nd shortest total time will get 2nd place, and so on.

Dave, you were originally saying that qualifying was total time of the 4 laps and not the fastest lap, or did I misunderstand your original qualifying details?
