This thread is for the IRG Indy Lights Series, a direct feeder series to the Turtle Beach IndyCar Series. The following rules and guidelines are the cornerstone for the series.
Rules and Guidelines: (The Indy Lights Series uses most of the same rules as the Turtle Beach IndyCar Series. Any differences will be documented below.)
A. Car Regulations
  1. Car of use must be the Red Bull X2014 Junior, available in the Gran Turismo dealership for 200,000 credits.
  2. Each driver competing must ensure that their cars remain untuned. No changes to the car will be allowed outside of an oil change/engine reduction.
  3. Cars must remain at 246 horsepower at all times, no matter the condition of the car.
  4. The only tire compound allowed is racing soft tires. Harder compounds are prohibited and if drivers are found to disobey this rule, all laps found to have been run on higher compounds will be disallowed.
B. Registration
B.1.-Driver Requirements

  1. All drivers must be a part of a team in some capacity, either purely as a driver, or as an owner/driver.
  2. Drivers must elect a number to use numbers for scoring at the beginning of the season. All Turtle Beach IndyCar Series competitors will use their TBICS numbers by default. All other drivers must choose numbers non conflicting with TBICS drivers from 0-99.
D. Championships
  1. The IRG Indy Lights Driver's Championship is the main championship for drivers. All points will go toward this championship.
  2. The IRG Indy Lights Oval Championship is the championship dedicated to all oval track participants. Only the 5 oval races apply for this championship.
  3. The IRG Indy Lights Road Course Trophy is dedicated for the five road course races, and as such, only points earned in those five races will count.
  4. The IRG Indy Lights Team Championship is for all competing teams throughout the season. Points will be earned in the same fashion as in TBICS, as only the best finisher of teams for each individual race will be counted for teams. Pole position point will also count.
Other Rules of Note:
  1. At Race Start, drivers will not undergo any formation laps, as the grid will already be set.
  2. All races will follow a 100 mile race limit.
  3. All penalties will be served via penalty points. Once a driver collects 10 penalty points, that driver will serve a one race suspension, lose 10 points, and will earn 4 points upon return as probation.

Only 3 cations. That never happened in AUEC. LOL

I do have to say though the race was only 47 Minutes long which is fairly short. However this doesn't change the fact that it takes 3 hours to render so it may be up late tonight on the channel. I did do a record with commentary as well though I have no idea if it is good enough to post on it's own.
Don't worry. Just don't rush it.

How many laps did I lead, I felt like I was fairly close if not the most laps lead, but regardless. Very good racing indeed, enjoyed it very much. Also @BRRT_Angel good luck tomorrow, and though it says so on the rules Not to really mention it, and though some may not believe, prayers for you Angel! Good luck!

Penalties from the Motegi 100. All penalties will be imposed in the form of penalty points, which will go towards a one race suspension race ban if the driver earns ten penalty points in a season.
For causing an avoidable collision: 2 penalty points

last lap angel or couple last I mean? Good luck today! Wishing a speedy recovery(:!

Some things we're doing at road courses starting at Suzuka:
1) Each road course race will feature a false start check at the beginning of the race. A false start will result in a penalty point being added to your IRG racing record.
2) All road course races will be cautionless. Collisions and the like will be worth 4 penalty points as opposed to 2 at ovals.
3) Corner cutting will be worth 1 point for every three occurrences. If it occurs 7+ times, the points double. If it happens 10 times, that driver will be disqualified.
