Intercontinental GT500 Championship Season Two - Finished

i don tknow if you saw the replay, but when i saw arno spin i also tried to bump his frontleft so he would stop spinning and get his car right but after that it isnt something that i did on perpose.. i just saw a big gap, i got the inside corner you turned infront of me i hitted your left back and i think that was just the moment while you wanted to accelerate out of the pack and it made you have wheel spin.

i dont know i was like driving 30 km when i hit u not that fast.. but anyway.. season is over. new season on its way, everyone got a chance to start off well. with season 2 ended we also have more experience in such situations. i think teammates are being choosen aswell next season.

btw i think we should get some schedule during this week for the 3d3 event.. we need to get some team practice going on .. i think if erik & arkano make up a schedule for the week at specific times we can get this thing going on..

propersian looks completely clean to me except this, where he bumps arno to overtake him, but i dont think he spins of this bump

I was coming around the corner and the next thing I know two cars are spinning infront of me, had no where to go.

Who in the replay hit me? (I don't have it)
 
I agree with you, but this is already quite into the incident.. If someone goes this deep into turn 1 at the start you are blocking the track for everyone. And then someone will hit you. Arno slides across almost the entire width of track.
After that Stretchy try to drive through him, this was very avoidable. But at this point Arno was spinning around blocking everyone behind him.
I don't mean to say its his fault after he spun, but if he would have showed more respect into the turn it would never happen. He would most likely have gained 1 position from the grid to turn 1, but he tried to make a move on IMMORTALPILOT as well, this is were it went wrong.
So I think it is bad judgement to blame Falcon for this incident, the incident had already happened.
I think he said it best himself: sometimes is patience a good solution for the first corner...
After it had happened it was like Maxitsu said, try to save yourself. I also hit him as he comes sliding into me, I also almost spun. And had to go off my throttle to avoid it. I also saw someone who gained a lot on the incident, and even if someone see this as an unfair advantage I see it as the dynamic of racing. You see it in real racing and we saw it yesterday in sim racing.
Its no wonder how Vettel felt when he had a flat tyre and had to abort his race. My guess is he felt like some of the guys who aborted the race yesterday. A feeling racing have sometimes. I know I have driven endurance races in this championship all by my self. I also had the worst race ever on Monza when I was being lapped before lap 8 because I struggled like hell. But I never said goodbye and left the room.
 
Oh and for the record, Nurburgring isn't located in Nurnberg, the old ring goes around Nurburg, witch is closer to Köln than Nurnberg :)

I would never normally leave a race but I had somewhere to be anyway.

So who was it that hit me/what happend?
 
Well the picture from Anastasis doesn't lie. You are still almost on full throttle after hitting him. The brake pedal can be used to brake your car avoiding accidents :)

This made Arno spin like crazy and when you tried to pass him on the outside he hit you causing you to be smashed into the wall. At this point Arno Could not control his car and aren't to be blamed for your crash. Arno was more in a roller coaster than in a car at this moment.

how do you know that i wanted to overtake immortel as wel, thats really ********...
the reason that i hit immortel was that i was hit from behind...
before i was going in turn one i was on his bumper and defended the inside of turn 1. never ment to overtake immortel, only defend propersion, after the 2 races/starts before spa i expected prop to a do or die action again...
at picture 3 you see a small gap, the only way to overtake me their is to bump my inside, propersion is the one that attacks.. when he had lifted his throttle and was a bit more patience......
normaly i do full damage endurance races in a dutch championship, never had in the last 10 starts damage..

Ok so you didn't want to overtake IMMORTALPILOT so you actually tried to defend against ProPersian. ProPersian had his left front wheel on the side of your right rear wheel at the time you decided to defend.. THIS IS TO LATE. And since you actually admit you defended this is just your fault. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that you actually didn't see ProPersian because you focused on IMMORTALPILOT.
If I slam my car into your car, do you accept that your the one to blame? Wouldn't think so.

i was defending BEFORE we go into turn 1...
what happend after turn one was going to fast for me..
it felt for me at that moment i couldn't do anything about it..my car was bumped over and over again.. you may blame me, no problem..i you feel better by that... its just a big race accident, lets learn from it and behave like gentlemen...
i only remember that i was bumped for behind before turn 1 and in turn 1...

time to relax ;)
 
Yes I want to see the leaderboards too , I should be in a nice last place .

At least I got 1 pole :)

Ok guys I think it was a racing incident but if we had stewards in the game they would have given arno a drive thru , it could have been avoided .

We live and we learn , when do you have the first preseason race scheduled for ?

Stretchy do you still want to team up with me next season ?
 
The scores stay as they are, except for 2nd and 3rd place as they swap back to how they were before ProPersian made his Motul into a air plane and did a fly by on IMMORTALPILOT in the last chicane.

1st. Falcon
2nd. IMMORTALPILOT
3rd. ProPersian
4th. ErikAndre
5th. Arkano
6th. anastasis
7th. maxitsu

Pole IMMORTALPILOT
Fastest lap: Falcon (we have to remove the air plane time ProPersian put in.. 2:06 something)

About getting the graphics we must wait for Kyaw to present them to me and as soon as I get them I post them to the OP
 
We will have to re think the ballast system guys so if you have a solution for the problem I would appreciate some help.

Problem is:
race 1:
1st Maxitsu 70kg
2nd Arkano 50kg
3rd IMMORTAL 30kg

Race 2
1st IMMORTALPILOT 30+ half of 70 is 65kg
2nd ProPersian 50kg
3rd Maxitsu 70 + half of 30kg is 85 kg

in this scenario both maxitsu and IMMORTAL have the exact same amount of points, but it payed off being IMMORTAL in this case as he will have to add 60kg (as we took off the 5kg we cant add to the weight in the lobby) and Maxitsu would have to carry 80kg.

We are going down to 60-40-20 next season as we will not end up on those stupid 5kg as often :)
So if you have a good way of solving this problem feel free to help me.

And no ballast is not the answer ;)

btw Erik & arkano, u what do you guys think about having heavy damage for next season? it also makes everyone to put extra attention on their take overs & 1st corner in a pack.. its also more exciting too.. & more realistic..

I wouldn't mind heavy damage at all, but I wouldn't mind rolling start if we have heavy damage. Can be quite boring to get a first corner crash at Nurburgring 24h, and have to go 25km around the track to be able to repair your damage. Rolling start will make it a bit easier to avoid.

We also talked about bringing weather in, to make it more realistic. And I don't mind having both.

Weather for sure, i agree with heavy damage too. Oh and i'm turning out to 16 in february :) Are we planning to start season 3 after or before christmas? We should already start to choose the tracks :)
 
7th of January we kick it off mate. Since there is the other event next weekend we start the pre-season 10th of December.

So it will be after Christmas and new years eve

I do plan to get some driving between those days since its the most boring time of the year. So you all are welcome to join me. We could do some fun races with random cars :)

skengdigi.. look at my username.. yes 71 is the year of birth so you are a youngster :) 16 is still kids though.
