Intercontinental GT500 Championship Season Two - Finished

The pre-season should start on the 10th since this weekend is the 3D3 tournament that myself, Erik, Immortal & ProPersian are taking part in, it also serves as a well deserved week off for everyone :lol:

As far as I'm aware there have been no talks about holding a race this weekend.

i'm about to go online and setup a lounge for practice.. if you / immortal & erik are up for a 20 lapper dont hesitate to join me 👍

I used to do music myself , engineering and a bit of rapping now n then . my family has a studio in kingston , jamaica and i did my work there.

I know I say this a lot, but hopefully I'll be online tomorrow evening for some decent practice time :P
 
I said I'd be online at 21:00CET, I wasn't. But I feel I have a decent setup for the car and I know the track.It have also been great with a week totally off the SuperGT car. After hours and hours with both preparation for races and testing of cars I got a bit sick of them :P
More important to me is actually to work out a tactical plan, because we wont win this with IMMORTAL on top and the rest of us on the bottom, we all should be in the room. Doesn't help much to make a plan with not everyone present.
 
Sorry I haven't uploaded anymore videos, I haven't had much time to record them again :(. I'll get them up as soon as I can hopefully before xmas ;).
 
So what times are you guys getting at Spa with the medium tyres & 1130kg or whatever the specs are, would be nice to know what I'm aiming for ;)

I'd be interested in competing next season. Recently I've gotten really interested in Gt500 and I really like the way the ARTA NSX drives.

Yes you read that correct mate, I tried to not come off as a "pore me guy" because I don't feel bad about it. But its hard to explain my situation in any other way ;)

I'm actually slowing down some tenths, I'm on 1:13-1:14, but thats actually is my race pace so its not that bad. I just cant seem to force myself to do a "hot lap" I'm to much of a consistency guy and not a hot lap guy :)
 
Nice time IMMORTALPILOT, I managed a 2:12.8, but then I had changed my tyres with no fuel added. But as the race doesn't allow pitting while qualify it's not really a time I can use as my car was down 40liter of fuel.
 
I'll be on in about 10 minutes, I'm just finishing up some stuff quickly.

EDIT:

Need to install the system software update, so I'll be a couple of minutes later.

Learned one thing, don't be so aggressive when trying to outbreak someone :P I left the soft tyres at home now. Sorry for the dive bombing in the last practice lap there IMMORTAL ;)

Looking forward to the race now, hope we can at least do well ;)

I was surprised at my pace compared to everyone else's. Good race overall.

Let's at least try to not come last in the final :)
 
After I went off I sacrificed my self and made the blue team work their ass off with me and I think I slowed them down a bit :)

Made you guys go for a glorious position :)

I think I made them use all their tyres on me, they seem to slide everywhere after some laps :dopey:
 
I'm not sure why I spun at the start, I got completely forced off the road by everyone and there was someone on my left so I could go onto the asphalt either, had I not spun I probably would have finished higher.

Don't be sorry mate, you seemed to have a nice pace. But by the look of it you got stuck in traffic.

I think the ICGTC guys did very well and IMMORTALPILOT was an alien, the way he hunted down the guys from PURE was EPIC. Still feel sorry for what happened to the pure guys in the first lap of the race. But in fact it made it more interesting as I would have imagine a pretty dominate win by the pure aliens.

And fastest lap by IMMORTAL 2:11 flat.. awesome

I was hoping ProPersian would catch WRP_001 in front of him, but then he fell back and I started to catch him :(

Wish I'd had more practice, but alas. If they do another one hopefully it'll be on a track that I know! Spa is the only track I have difficulty with :l
