Hey - found GTPlanet while looking for online racing forums/leagues on reddit. From Florida, started playing racing games last month. I play with the logitech g29 wheel and pedals. I don't play any other games (lol). Most looking forward to improving my skills and starting to race in a league.

Hi all. I've known about gtplanet for a while because it often shows up in Google if I have a question. One of my first racing games was the original Need for Speed and I followed those for a long time. My first Gran Turismo game was 5 and I still have the botched digital version they took off the PSN store.

I've been playing a lot of GT7 and the weather/variable time fascinate me. I was hoping there'd be more information out there on how it works but there isn't much. I've been running some experiments lately in the lobby mode. I'm hoping to post stuff about it eventually. I'm trying to compile a list of cars with working clocks and outside temperature readings for this purpose as well.

Hi. I found GT Planet through an internet search. I started with Pole Position on the old Atari 2600 when I was very young and only started with the Playstation 4 three years ago. I have Assetto Corsa and all of the Formula 1 games as well as Gran Turismo Sport and 7. I only play with the controller as I have no room for a wheel set up.

Hi! I'm SofaKing G, or Andrew.
I bought the first Gran Tourismo back in '97, the weekend it came out. I'd never really been into racing, but I'd just bought a PlayStation and was looking for ANY game with force feedback, to check it out. The kid at the cash register handed me GT 1 and said "I think this one's got it" and I was so impressed. This was no ordinary game! I became a racing fanatic, following CART, and Formula One ever since.
I came to gtplanet because I just got GT7, been playing nonstop for days, and I googled "GT7 too much rain" and got a link to this site.
Speaking of which, WTF is up with all the rain??? The GT7 weather system is clearly borked. While coding, someone intended to enter a % possibility of rain (like 2) in any race above 5 laps, but missed the % and made it ANY race above 5 laps!
I live in a rainforest (Vancouver) and I never see either the frequency or intensity. It's not an attempt at reality, it's nuts! I'm getting seasonal depression from the dark, drizzle that never ends.

Hi I'm from the UK my first gt game was gt1 but only in like 2015 or something I currently play gt7 on ps4 it's good but needs more content more cars and maybe a track like the nardo ring a test track in italy and remove the invitations so you can get those cars normally

3. When first Gran Turismo was released on PS1 (But stopped playing after GT Sport was released) Back into it now with GT7

6. Mingling with like minded gamers is podium. Secondly build on and get interest in my youtube channel supanovabeast gaming. Following would certainly help and motivate to build more interesting content. Thirdly, get insights from the community on what is happening in the world of sim racing, maybe get some good insights on how to get better and more competitive.

The game news variety for the dailY racers and much stricter penalties for the dirty drivers. I get mistakes but some of the racers are dilliberately foul and malicious imo. But I love the game and play it just about everyday. Maybe we played against each other? Do you do daily racers?

• I'm using now a G29 with steering wheel Formula mod and a magnetic paddle shift mod;

I found GT Planet on Google. I’m from Centreville Virginia. I’ve bee racing sim games since 2016. I have a Logitech G29. In addition to GT Sport I just recently started racing GT7. I enjoy all the F1 racing sims, Project Cars, Dirt Rally, and Assetto Corsa. I’m looking forward to learning more about car setups and general racing information. Hi!I found GTplanet on a search for GT7 tuning advice.
USA
I remember my first console racing game as a kid was Pole Position for Atari. I’ve been playing GT since the first one on PS1.
Haven’t played on a wheel yet but just purchased a G29 for my son for Christmas so I’ll give it a try.
I’ve also been playing a lot of F1 lately and COD.
Just looking forward to absorbing knowledge from this community and hopefully also give back.

I found GT planet looking for gameshark codes for my emulator playing Gran Turismo 2. I'm from Tulsa Oklahoma I started playing racing games well I don't even know I don't really remember many before Gran Turismo lol! I don't play with the steering wheel I never have I mean they're fun but I don't know I play better with a controller d-pad. Your other kind of game of the players first person shooters battlefield mainly.

New member here. I found GTPlanet on the TCR Discord. Longtime Colorado, USA resident. Pole Position junkie from the 80’s. Logitech G29 wheel and pedals. No other games really besides GT7. I’m looking for some clean competitive racing.
