Had a good week in iracing this week, been promoted to D class oval, and nearly fast tracked to C class road. Only been on this for a month and my goal is to get to A class road by December. Excited about the v8 supercar races mainly but will try them all. Need another .2sr to promote to C class.

By the way, does anyone have a buttkicker with this game, trying to determine whether I should invest in one just yet.

Yeah, from a real good and clean race to a horribly dirty one... Just did the Grand Touring race and lost .24 SR from a lot of stupid idiots attepting stupid divebombs and plain bad driving. All thank's to the idiot in the Jetta that would not move over when he wasn't racing anyone. What's even worse is that the hits came from B and A licensed drivers who just were impatient and stupid!

Yeah, I was in that race. So you must be Javier. Corey would not move over and stop toying, I wish I had saved the replay to make a complaint. I'm the guy who tapped you by accident (Chris Wollaston). I got a +.11SR for that race.

Got your friend request and accepted, thanks! Currently I'm going to stick with the Grand Touring Cup (Jetta/MX-5) then maybe move onto the Mustangs as I only have to buy the one Mustang vs. many cars.

Money is tight and my wife would have my balls if I dumped a bunch of loot on tracks and cars. I'll get to the DP and GT stuff soon enough, but I need to improve the safety rating in my wallet and gain a better understanding of the physics before stepping up to the big boy cars. :)

I've been wondering this too. I have one, but it's buried deep in a closet somewhere. I bought it for GT5p and it didn't work at all. All the wind noise just made it vibrate all the time, so I put it up.
Maybe I will break it out tonight and give it a try and let you know how it works.

Man that was crazy! the first guy to hit me was the stupidest move I've seen on Summit point! He was setting up for a pass on the last corner so I gave him room but he just had to try and squeeze me further and got into me, that incident alone costed me two 0x===>4, and one 2x===>0 that's a .6 in just one corner thank's to somebody elses stupidity! Then it was just repited taping, bumping and hits till I got taken off by a spining car. I don't think Corey was toying with us the Jetta just plain sucks on the thight stuff, he was just trying to race us when he just should've moved over and let us go since he wasn't racing anyone.
I love Summit Point but without a good qualifying and a bit of luck I see an SR killer this week, I'll give it another try, if I see Jettas ahead on the grid I will just quit it's not worth my hard earned SR.

I got it for ps3 aswell and I have a computer that could handle it. Keyboard and mouse are strange with an fps imo

same here, I have played with a keyboard and mouse before for FPS and I'm just so used to controllers I rather stay with them. I think there is going to be a mouse delete (what ever it's called) for BF3 just like there is one for BAD COMPANY 2.

I was right behind him, and the things he was doing was bad driving standards. He would brake in corners that didn't need braking (such as the right hander before the tight left-right loop at the top), accelerating slowly and driving in the middle of the track. Then as soon as someone passed him (ie, me) he would race his backside off to get past me, and then start his slow, dangerous driving again. The Jetta may be slower in the twisty corners than the MX-5, but he was slower than me in the same car, much slower than he should have been. Add into the mix that he is an A-class driver, I can't see why he was behaving like that.

QUESTION: with my new computer, do I just download IRACING like normal and then log in with my email and password, like I do now to get my content on the new computer? I've searched and they really haven't giving me a straight answer from what I've found.

You just log in with on your account on your new computer and it will tell you that the service is inactive. There are many links on the screen to download the software, which include everything you own up to this date.

A new computer should be just around the corner for me. In hoping to buy it while I'm at my dads till next Sunday so that he can build it for me.

Should be going with the i5 2500k, gtx 460 (I hope), 8 gig of ram and the other assorted parts. And it all only comes to 700ish AUD.

Does anyone here have the 2500k? I'm choosing this over the 6 core amd processors because I think it will be easier to work with in the future (over clocking) and it has high reviews.

It's probably that Grand theft auto mind set a lot of people have behind the wheel on a video game, realistic or not

I have a video game mind set but not quite a gtaIV one where bashing is natural, I just have a feeling of a lost sense in a video game, as opposed to real racing, so my driving line may be different and mirror perceptions are weird for me but like most people I try not to bash but it happens, and this corey person sounds like a GTA IV shoot em up while driving kind of driver but without weapons other than the car itself
 
I bridged my old computer to my laptop as it didn't have a wifi card and mum won't let me run a LAN cable through the house. I can't run it through the roof because we don't own the house.

It doesn't really matter here anyway, the Internet isn't fast enough for wireless to be any slower. It may be more unstable (I haven't noticed that though) but it did the job fine. I intend to bridge my new computer as well.

Agreed. I like the idea. Having multiple sims in one sub forum, it makes the idea of a new sun forum seem more appropriate.
