Speaking of class promotions, mine just isn't quite as fancy as yours are.

are there any plans to revamp the FFB system? Cause after doing some Assetto Corsa iracing's force feedback seems... yea.

Iracing does give you the option to customize it per car, however I've found cars on Goodyear and Hoosier tires tend to have a lot less feel then those on Pirelli or Michelin,

Are there any good guides on how to get the best results?

I got my FFB to feel good on iracing. Assetto is still great but I can't put down iracing. I had four amazing races in the GT3 series for B liscence, and it was like being in some of the good leagues from PCars.

I just need to make some more clean racing friends on iracing and find a league!

You're ranked up fast. I'm still a rookie. You've been pounding iracing hard. Yeh I've been playing assetto after my hourly race.

Honestly if you have the time and the money you could probably fast track your way to A class on 1 license in about 2-3 weeks.

That really depends on your hardware. With a standard Logitech, Thrustmaster, or Fanatec wheel you'll definitely like the feel of Assetto better. But if you've ever tried both simulators with a DD wheel, iRacing wins hands down. I'll be the first to tell you that I like both games equally. But in terms of FFB feel, iRacing wipes the floor with anything else out there right now.

GT3 + Clean Racing = undefined

GT3 and clean racing have never been said together like that in the history of ever...

Well i'm not rich enough :(

I would take the 911 GT3 cup car...

Also will we be getting the GTLM version of the GT3 as well?

Sadly this patch is just a minor bug fix,

My understanding from the 'Porsche in iRacing' commercial was that we will get,
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup,
Porsche 911 GT3 RSR,
Porsche 911 GTE RSR,
Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1-H,

All before the year is out, which makes sense with the Ferrari 488 GTE coming and possibly the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE,

They really ought to lift the multiclass restriction to somewhere in the 15 car range to include prototype, GT1, GTE, and GT3 all in one race. With the 5 car limit we won't be able to fit all of GT3 let alone any other classes on top of that.

Anybody racing in the iRacing Daytona 24 hours? I need to find a team that drives the Mercedes!

You're 2 weeks to late mate. I did post an ad here looking for drivers, the teams locked in,

Also, I've been told that there will be server maintenance tomorrow, no release notes for it,

I totally agree, and my understanding is now that they have dropped support for DX-9 that this is a possibility, along with day/night racing etc, I genuinely believe that all of the available GT3 cars within the game should be able to run with each other, and I was just discussing tonight that there is so much unused or outdated content now. Like the Riley DP, why that hasn't been upped to the level of the Corvette DP is beyond silly, fair enough they never actually raced but I would drive it from time to time, plus the entire Ruf pack is about to be made redundant over the next 12 months,

There's 2 things iRacing needs, number 1, a massive jump in population, and number 2, a major update in vehicle content,

And the third thing, the weekly race structure needs to be overhauled, and maybe rotate series fortnightly to even out participation,

Damn getting my hopes up.

What are the requirements for the Dayton 24? I'd like to do it but I'm Class D and new to iRacing (not very good, just safe and steady).

I don't login often enough because I lack content to bother to know, will there be a race for Continental tire and does it require a driver change?
