Is Your Car in Gran Turismo, and Does Your Car Deserve to be in GT5?

That's a Focus RS...

Any chance of a photo with a hand-written "Hi GTPlanet! From Street Racer 77" sign and the Cosworth in shot?

if you want it. i can make a sheet of paper on that car or in the car if you want:), but the photo will come in 2 days, because i haven´t got a cam yet.

O.K. everyone, laugh all you want, but I'm gonna say it anyways.:sly: It's the car I drive right now, but its what i plan to do to it is what will make it unique. 2003 Ford Focus sedan with the V8 conversion kit,:D yes you heard it right, V8 conversion kit for a Ford Focus, a 302 infact. The car will be converted to RWD too. Ford has made a concept Focus with a V8 called the Ford Focus RS8, I would love to see this car in GT5.

My mom's 2001 Jetta was in the GT4 game(it is called Bora in europe). Not a bad car but I have trouble getting up to 160mph(in the game). Anyone know if the '96 Ford Ranger XLT was in any of the GT games?

No, but GT4 had the RUF CTR, wich my Porsche resembles, after a bodykit was mounted.

Almost. I have a 1981 240 GLT saloon and there is a 1988 240 GLT estate in GT4. The diferense is a few details on the body and mine has 7HP more since they had no catalyst untill 1986 :)

Well it was in GT and always has been. I had an 05 Evo 8 up until last week :) my current car isn't in latest iteration of GT but it's big brother (M3) is.
nice, but if it's a 05 evo 8 it hasn't always been in gt. only in gt4 right?

2 Dodge Neons [95 ACR, 98 Sport] and an 08 Jeep Patriot [which will probably NEVER make the game].

I doubt my boyfriends trucks will ever make it in either. A bunch of AMC Jeeps, and a couple old Chevy C10s and Panel truck.

My 69 Camaro has been in GT2 and GT4. The one in GT2 looked very close to mine because it was the RS/SS version with the hideaway headlights.
Heathers 67 Mustang has not been in any of the GT games.
This is the only google GT2 69 Camaro I could find. You can compare it to my avatar.

now i usually am not to exited about 911's,but yours made my heart stop for a moment....wow,thats a georgeous car you have there man....no fiddly things here and there, everything just to the point...super!!👍

am driving a bmw135i(with the M-package on it) this week for work(as i allways drive different cars for work i dont have to buy one myself....:dopey:)and have to say it is a little bomb on wheels...having a great time with it,and it drives pretty simular as the one in the game(actually more like the tti with the sports suspension on it).

spyrrari.

I have a 2007 lexus gs350, should be in the game, but they always go with the I.s, in gt4 they had the gs300(older model) but who knows in gt5.
I wouldn't mind it in GT5 either; I drove one for two weeks as a loaner car, and with the exception of a lack of steering feel when cornering from the run-flat tires (and the oft-complained tire noise at 45-65 mph), it's a really nice handling car. Even with all the traction controls (which kick in peculiarly like GT!), it's a fine ride and great balance between smooth ride and sport.

Good enough... :)

I own a 1995 Hyundai Scoupe LS and an '88 Chevrolet Nova.

As far as anything signifigant historically between either cars, the Nova was the first joint venture between a Japanese and an American car company to produce a car. It was made at the NUMMI plant in California.

The Scoupe has the first domestically created Korean engine ever made, albeit a 1.5. The top-notch GT should be really in, with Garret's first use of their T-15 turbo (which is like the size of a paperweight.) It has independant rear suspention and gas shocks from the factory, all around. For a car with a 2100 lb curb weight, it's pretty interesting to drive. ;)

Cheers.

I think my mum's 03 SVT Lightning deserves a place in GT5 because it was in GT4.

I also think my dad's 01 Bullitt Mustang deserves a place because it is a rare model compared to the new 08/09 Bullitt Mustang, the 01 Bullitt production finished at 5582 whereas there are over 7000..... 08 Bullitts and the production is continuing into 2009. IMO the 01 Bullitt looks better than the 08 Bullitt. I also think it deserves a place because it would be quite fun tuning it for the track, or drifting, or drag racing like you would for a similar European or Japanese car. ie. Nissan 200SX or Audi A5.
