I haven't had much experience of them really, but what I have had has been great fun I really like both cars so I thought I'd let my fellow GTP'ers decide for me 👍

I think both the Lupo Cup Cars are somewhat equal, you could equalize them though.

Yeah they both have 125bhp, but one has 840kg and the other something like 1010kg. Obviously that's easily sorted with ballast.

Might want to see if their torgue is the same or not, even if the BHP is the same, the torgue might make one faster than the other. The cars adding ballast can choose how to distribute the weight, whereas the ones already at 1010kg can't.

Yeah I know what you mean, the cars still vary quite a lot. I think if I did run that it would have to be one spec, makes things much simpler!

Welcome to GTP, best site on the web And welcome to the series too, we've got a pre season test race tomorrow, but if you can't make it that's absolutely fine. It is at a time more convenient for our UK driver so no worries either way:tup:

EDIT: One space remaining in the US series now, still multiple UK spaces to fill. Any news on the US safety car issue yet guys? LV?

Talking of Nascar, just missed the Talladega highlights on sky, damn 👎

I like Jeff Gordon, sort of disappointed by his result, well, Trevor Bayne didn't have much of a choice

So does that mean you'll only turn left, ditch the FGT and show up in a Dodge pickup truck? Haha only joking mate The Ovals should be pretty well matched racing, I'm still wondering whether there's more chance of a wreck with these cars than the Nascars. They sure are twitchier.

Put me in for Target Chip Ganassi. But I do have one question, why are we using comfort tires instead of racing tires. That doesn't make any sense to me.

Secondly, we use Comfort tires because they more accurately replicate the handling and wheelspin of the Dallara IndyCars.
And finally, no you can't paint an FGT, so do you have the red car for Target Chip? 👍

EDIT: @4DSC No, not strictly. We use the FGT's as they are the closest thing to IndyCar. We run realistic specs so it's very similar to be honest, even the handling is similar.

Comfort tires simulate the driving of an actual IndyCar I think.

And you can't paint it.
