I have a 1.47.xxx with the Prelude too, but i cant squeeze much more from it. I´ll try to beat it with the Sileighty later, but that car is handful without my wheel 👎

I'm waiting for sumos times with excitement ^^ i'm guessing on a 1:45:9.. any other bets? ^^

I think you're gonna do better than that.. because I did a 1:45:884 now and it wasn't perfect, lost 3 tenths in one of the sector times compared to my previously best lap.

Knew you would do much faster when i realized i could drive that fast after a couple of laps ^^ i did it in practise.. what's the difference between online and practise mode? i've heard it would be slower online but on tsukuba i drove faster online so i don't really understand..

My snake just laid eggs!! ... random comment but I am excited. Btw, I have two snakes, she didnt just get pregnant randomly.

Oh i was hoping there for a second that she had been impregnated by a bird who snuck in the cage or maybe some kind of maiden birth thingy :P

Hmm... Anyway. I am gunna open a practise lobby right now so join if y'all want!

Offline practice time: 1'43.726

Meh, less of a difference than I expected, but still quite significant.

you make me sick sumo ^^ We raced some online a moment ago, the others might still be racing and i couldn't get under 1:47, of course it's different when you race but not even when i were ahead and could concentrate on my own lap i couldn't get faster :P

Wow. That's fast, Sumo. I did ten laps online in several cars the other day. I'm still learning the track. My best times were as follows:

Mitsubishi 3000GT SR (J) '98 - 1'45.4xx
* Tire wear was an issue
* Lap times began increasing after about the 5th or 6th lap
Supra - 1'46.016
* could improve a bit
* lap times were still decreasing after ten laps
* 14 laps in Supra gave same tire wear level as 9 laps in 3000GT

Not sure if I'll switch from the supra yet. I'm going to run a full 18 laps each car to compare the total time. I think the 3000GT will be faster for me though.

I considered using a GTO, but then I remembered the things are heavy. That combined with 4WD means they eat tires. So I just took a look through my garage, saw the R32 GTS-t and decided to give that a go. Turns out it's brilliant! At least for me it is. Someone else said it was a bit of a handful.

i would need much more practising to get those times as well (at least online.. ) but i have no time to play before the race, have to write a paper for school and that will probably take most of my time the next few days..

Today I was with the rest of the group in a practice lounge using my FTO, originally I thought my car wasn't going to suit the track but it actually appears that I can get an edge on the straights. It looks like I won't be swapping to an MR2 after all!

I set a best time of 1:45.843 after three clean laps, I'm relatively happy but I know I can improve greatly!

Just as a note from an organiser's point of view, I hope you can understand that I don't really want everyone to flock to the R32 and GTO; they may be fast but all the cars have been tested enough for me to know that there are better choices! Plus don't you think it would be boring for you to see only two varieties of car and for us to have tested 20+?

I hope it doesnt end like that, because there's plenty of cars to choose that nobody uses. I'll stick with my Prelude, i hope it can do better than tsukuba

I guess we can't change it now but maybe next season we could make it so that no one can use the same car as another. That would make for more variety, not that it's a problem right now but if Bakus worries are made true then that could be a solution.

I have a 200SX'96 and a 200SX(S14)'96, they're different cars. Not sure about the 240SX but i'm thinking of using a S13 or S14 (if possible) too.

To be honest I didn't expect the R32 to be as fast as it is. I joined this series to see a bit of variety, hence why I went the R32 when no-one else had chosen it, and I'm sure most of the cars can put up similar times. In fact I'll go run something else for a bit and post the times I get. Also I know SSR5 very well (it's my primary test track). I don't expect to do as well at Cote de Azur.

the 240SX (S14) is too fast I am afraid, its the S13 version (Although it is not labled S13) which is allowed.
