Improving nicely Adrian đź‘Ť
I'm not sure what those little light balls on the tarmac are though
The only thing I could say is that you need to be careful with which reflections to dodge along the side. I don't do it on window reflections if they're blue-black like these, I mostly dodge the lines between reflections on the body rather then on windows đź‘Ť You also dodged a little bit too much and untidy, I select an area around the edge of the reflection to dodge with the polyg. lasso tool and I never go higher then 20% pressure đź‘Ť
Good shot though đź‘Ť
thanks for the tips bram! the light balls on the tarmac are bird crap!
they just froze due to freezing cold !
i screwed up with the dodge tool as you can see. i guess i got carried away with it. thanks for the advice though, it's gonna help me out a lot, and what a better time to give some useful ones since the tournament is up already. many thanks mate! i owe you for this one.
The car itself loks really great, even the green rims look good in it.
Good cleaning, good tones, good work on the reflections also, but like Bram said, it just looks weird on the windows.
Something is confusing me, though. The ground seems to have been motion blurred, yet the wheels aren't moving.
Good job, J. đź‘Ť
Off topic, I liked Bram's comment on the "
balls on the tarmac"
glad you liked it beerz! i did motion blur the tarmac, but i forgot about the wheels. i was so tired after hitting the arcade and played battlegear 4 for like an hour or so (not the whole time, i play like one game and wait for other people and take my turn). so after i did the motion blur, i just saved it in jpeg format and went to bed at 3am. i didnt notice until you said it. i know it's a sausage excuse, but that's the truth
and yes, the windows do look weird. i guess i should of left them like that. but thank you for commenting. it really helps. and about the green rims, well one of my friends has an S2000 with a full mugen conversion on it, and is running green Volks Racing wheels on it, similar to the one the TAKATA NSX is using, which is the one i used on that car. the update was supposed to be a cameo of his car
Looking good mate, looking good!! Both sets are great, but on the 2nd set, why green rims
?
And in the 2nd shot I don´t know if I hate or love the S2000 windows, quite real but there is something "weird"...
Still a great update IMO, happy easter mate
thanks NTX! the green rims because this update was inspired by my friend's Mugen S2000 in real life. it wears the same exact wheels but is not a center lug
consider it as a cameo of his car. the windows, well, on the passenger side, i noticed a bad/weird angle on the left side of the photo. and maybe the other thing u see is the dodge i put on the windshield. that screwed it up bad for the photo. ah well, gotta learn somehow. glad u guys pointed it out.
otherwise i never would of thought it was wrong hehehehe. glad u liked my easter blowout for u guys. and thanks for the kind words.
Happy Easter mate..
I haven`t been here in a while again, i did only visited to sent my Tourney entry
Anyway i see you have been improving in evry single update. you are getting better and better evry time with Photoshop. I really love your chaser update. and what a coincidence i did just took my chaser for a photoshoot trip. update will be up later.
And thank God you got a new USB stick. your mugen S2k are nice too đź‘Ť
Talk to you later man.
LGForce
yes gino it has been a while. but what can u do right? priorities will always come first. glad u liked my latest updates though. the chaser updates are actually quite old. they're one of the first few photos i ever posted here on gtp back when i didn't have a clue what photoshop or let alone what gimp was, besides being not able to walk
(gimped). and yes i am glad to get a usb stick that works too. the one i had was dead. so i guess we will be able to follow up another joint update if we wanted to. good to see you here again mate!
I really love the angle and the tone of the image.
thanks TVR. much appreciated. i see you are up against bram in the tournament. i would love to see that unfold. thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment.
Two great Mugen S2000 shots J, I can see you are really getting the hang of this clean up stuff. I must say I agree that the reflections on the windows look a bit weird on the second shot. Those bright parts, also how you motion blurred the road in the second. Other than that, I really like them. Especially the drift shot. Love that car too.
Good job, keep it up. đź‘Ť
thanks so much Drift! yeah i forgot about those little details about the wheels. and yes, the windows is a bad misuse of the dodge tool
thanks though. glad u liked them
i'm loving all the S2K pics
i REALLY like your last pic of the S2000.
everything about it is perfect. and yea, maybe i need too practice a bit more
and btw i am also digging your first shot of the Toyota
those are overly kind words mate. maybe too much for the update, but i'll take it anyways
like you, i still need to practice a bit more. and i'm glad u like my first toyota pic. it is also, believe it or not, one of my very very first updates since i started here in gtp. it was a commemorative shot to further celebrate my 1000th + post, and how much i've learned the whole time i've been in here. but yeah, thanks so much!!
Here's my tournament entry for the qualifying round. i've been itching to post this here and show it to you guys. i was gonna enter the other subaru pic which i've already showed everyone here, but i reckon this one would do better since it has less flaws. thanks for everyone that voted for it. it surely helped me, but now i wanna shoot myself in the head after finding out that i'm up against Sejtur on round 1. wish me luck. it's a hard theme too.
anyways here it is. enjoy!
