Sweet.
Gotta love that angle, makes it seem so steep... đź‘Ť
What did you use to clean the car? It's looking relly good.

Also, aren't we getting 'pinkish'?

Very damn nice jdga! Top shot at a great spot in seattle. đź‘Ť

thanks freddy!

thanks dude!

thanks Beerz!! yeah that shot is right at the start of the big hill afterturn 3 in seattle, you know the part where we usually take pictures of cars up in the air ? cleaning the car, well i mainly used the smudge tool, and then applied some surface blur to some areas, but i used free hand (select) instead of the poly lasso tool, i guess i just got so used to controlling it because when i ran gimp before, that was like one of my main tools for selection. so yeah, just the basic stuff. and no we're not getting pinkish! it's salmon! it's not a bad color, it's a strong fish!!  thanks for the comments :) happy easter!

here's another update from my mugen S2K photoshoot.

Improving nicely Adrian đź‘Ť

I'm not sure what those little light balls on the tarmac are though :odd: The only thing I could say is that you need to be careful with which reflections to dodge along the side. I don't do it on window reflections if they're blue-black like these, I mostly dodge the lines between reflections on the body rather then on windows đź‘Ť You also dodged a little bit too much and untidy, I select an area around the edge of the reflection to dodge with the polyg. lasso tool and I never go higher then 20% pressure đź‘Ť

Good shot though đź‘Ť

The car itself loks really great, even the green rims look good in it.
Good cleaning, good tones, good work on the reflections also, but like Bram said, it just looks weird on the windows.
Something is confusing me, though. The ground seems to have been motion blurred, yet the wheels aren't moving.

Good job, J. đź‘Ť

Off topic, I liked Bram's comment on the "balls on the tarmac"

Looking good mate, looking good!! Both sets are great, but on the 2nd set, why green rims:)?
And in the 2nd shot I don´t know if I hate or love the S2000 windows, quite real but there is something "weird"...
Still a great update IMO, happy easter mate:)

Happy Easter mate..
I haven`t been here in a while again, i did only visited to sent my Tourney entry :D
Anyway i see you have been improving in evry single update. you are getting better and better evry time with Photoshop. I really love your chaser update. and what a coincidence i did just took my chaser for a photoshoot trip. update will be up later.
And thank God you got a new USB stick. your mugen S2k are nice too đź‘Ť
Talk to you later man.

Two great Mugen S2000 shots J, I can see you are really getting the hang of this clean up stuff. I must say I agree that the reflections on the windows look a bit weird on the second shot. Those bright parts, also how you motion blurred the road in the second. Other than that, I really like them. Especially the drift shot. Love that car too. :D
Good job, keep it up. đź‘Ť

i'm loving all the S2K pics  i REALLY like your last pic of the S2000.:sly: everything about it is perfect. and yea, maybe i need too practice a bit more :P and btw i am also digging your first shot of the Toyota;)

thanks for the tips bram! the light balls on the tarmac are bird crap!
they just froze due to freezing cold ! i screwed up with the dodge tool as you can see. i guess i got carried away with it. thanks for the advice though, it's gonna help me out a lot, and what a better time to give some useful ones since the tournament is up already. many thanks mate! i owe you for this one.

glad you liked it beerz! i did motion blur the tarmac, but i forgot about the wheels. i was so tired after hitting the arcade and played battlegear 4 for like an hour or so (not the whole time, i play like one game and wait for other people and take my turn). so after i did the motion blur, i just saved it in jpeg format and went to bed at 3am. i didnt notice until you said it. i know it's a sausage excuse, but that's the truth :D and yes, the windows do look weird. i guess i should of left them like that. but thank you for commenting. it really helps. and about the green rims, well one of my friends has an S2000 with a full mugen conversion on it, and is running green Volks Racing wheels on it, similar to the one the TAKATA NSX is using, which is the one i used on that car. the update was supposed to be a cameo of his car :D

thanks NTX! the green rims because this update was inspired by my friend's Mugen S2000 in real life. it wears the same exact wheels but is not a center lug :D consider it as a cameo of his car. the windows, well, on the passenger side, i noticed a bad/weird angle on the left side of the photo. and maybe the other thing u see is the dodge i put on the windshield. that screwed it up bad for the photo. ah well, gotta learn somehow. glad u guys pointed it out.
otherwise i never would of thought it was wrong hehehehe. glad u liked my easter blowout for u guys. and thanks for the kind words.

Happy Easter mate..

yes gino it has been a while. but what can u do right? priorities will always come first. glad u liked my latest updates though. the chaser updates are actually quite old. they're one of the first few photos i ever posted here on gtp back when i didn't have a clue what photoshop or let alone what gimp was, besides being not able to walk :D (gimped). and yes i am glad to get a usb stick that works too. the one i had was dead. so i guess we will be able to follow up another joint update if we wanted to. good to see you here again mate!

I really love the angle and the tone of the image.

thanks TVR. much appreciated. i see you are up against bram in the tournament. i would love to see that unfold. thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment.

thanks so much Drift! yeah i forgot about those little details about the wheels. and yes, the windows is a bad misuse of the dodge tool :D thanks though. glad u liked them :)

those are overly kind words mate. maybe too much for the update, but i'll take it anyways :D like you, i still need to practice a bit more. and i'm glad u like my first toyota pic. it is also, believe it or not, one of my very very first updates since i started here in gtp. it was a commemorative shot to further celebrate my 1000th + post, and how much i've learned the whole time i've been in here. but yeah, thanks so much!!

Here's my tournament entry for the qualifying round. i've been itching to post this here and show it to you guys. i was gonna enter the other subaru pic which i've already showed everyone here, but i reckon this one would do better since it has less flaws. thanks for everyone that voted for it. it surely helped me, but now i wanna shoot myself in the head after finding out that i'm up against Sejtur on round 1. wish me luck. it's a hard theme too.

anyways here it is. enjoy!

:) i know. all it needed was my sig on it hahahaha. i sort of had a fair clue you entered the R34, it reminded me a lot of your monaro shot from the last tournament. i wanna see how you and TVR's match in the comp would turn out to be. i've always wanted to see that. i'm excited. though i wish i got match 2's theme instead. the one i'm in is gonna be hard i think. good thing i work at night the whole week.

Like I said on the other thread, I knew this was yours the moment I saw it. đź‘Ť

Great work on the blur, lighting, and car cleanup, I especially love the tone of green on the car's reflections.
It does look like you have burned a bit more on the right headlight than on the left, though. But that's being overpicky.
Where was that shot taken?

Good luck to the next round! :)

thanks beerz. damn, i guess this shot had my name written all over it. must have been because my last acura update had similar angle to this one. this photo's taken, i think in beacon hill location. same place where freddy86 took a photo of his supra. the headlight, i dont remember burning it. i probably did.
too tired to remember :D glad u liked it though. to me, i think this is one of the best gt4 photos i have ever done so far. the cleanest and least flaws out of them all. i Think. i could be wrong, but to me it looks great. though the colors remind me a lot of Kodak or photo printing ads for some odd reason. must be the green on the reflections that you were talking about. anyways thanks again !! goodluck on the tournament.

I am a bit nervous facing Ultrashot, but it looks like all this week I will be working on my entry for the 1st round, anyway sweet shot jgda9rs. But I can see on that shot that a part of the bumper has a little smudged curve below the air scoop on the bonnet, however it is still a great shot.

Yep mate, that Subaru was one of the best shots in the Tournament qualifying. Gotta say those reflections are incredible, quite real IMO.
Good luck to the rest of the tourney, hope U enjoy:tup:

thanks a lot guys! much appreciated.

TVR: i'm sure you'll find a way with ultrashot. if i kept up with him before, i'm sure you could do better. i'm gonna go pick up Test Drive unlimited tomorrow too, was wondering if you can give me more info about that game. does it have photomode too ?

NTX: Thank you! i think i will have fun. i'm already having fun doing shots for the tournament. sejtur will not be an easy opponent, but i'll do my best. i'm always up for a challenge :D

here's a remix of TVR&FF's Ferrari 599 GTB from GTHD. it's just subtle adjustments, and i cleaned the car up a little bit coz when i adjusted the brightness and contrast levels, some 'funny' spots came out. hope you guys like it :)

Nice remix jdga. đź‘Ť I can't complain about anything in this shot..

Your tournament quali entry is just great. I knew it was yours by comparing it to your last gallery updates. It was one of the shots where I instantly knew that I want to vote on it. Those colours and the softness of the background are marvelous. Is that beacon hill?

Good luck in the rest of the tournament. đź‘Ť

As the others have said, it was easy to spot your Tournament entry. It is a stunning shot, I love the colour. The car and lighting look great too.

The Ferrari shot is sweet, good job. It is really fun working on GTHD shots. They look so good. Love the colour and the shine coming off the car.

Great work as always J, keep it up and good luck in the Tournament. đź‘Ť

Sweet remix, I like how you worked on the lighting some more, but remember I said I re-uploaded the full size version.

I never thought green rims could fit so nice in a car. The Mugen S2000 is great to do this!

Seems the explosive Impreza is a popular liked work. I'm glad! To be honest I had not expected so good results in the poll. The lighting is a difficult thing in that shot, but you have managed it very well.

thanks everyone. i didn't expect my entry to be recognized by people right away :D i guess freddy's right about what he said. but i'm happy you all liked it. and thanks for voting for it and helping me progress. and freddy, yes, it is beacon hill. i took those shots right after shooting my Acura and the last STi update i posted before the qualifying round.
Drift: i couldn't agree more man. GTHD shots are awesome. I wonder what photomode galleries (if gt5 comes out with one again) would look like when it comes out. and thanks, goodluck to the tournament for you too. i still have no shots to work on, been busy with work.
TVR&FF: thanks !!! this one's for you. i never saw the full size version, but the one i did will do. fits perfectly on my screen for my desktop display :D
Alex: thanks !! good to have you back here again. my entry actually took on 6
different versions before that one, two of which you've seen already long time ago. thanks for the tips and feedbacks you gave me before when i showed you the first one, they really helped. and yes, green rims could look good on a car sometimes, as long as it's done right with the right stuff. three of my friends cars have them. same people from the cars on the website i've showed you, and one of them is a yellow, J's Racing spec DC2! you should see it in real life. looks so nice. again, thanks for the great comments everyone. and goodluck to everyone that entered the tournament!

here's another remake of TVR&FF's shots. i believe this one's a request photo, forgot who it was for though. hope TVR doesn't mind me fiddling with this one :D i just thought i'd edit it and give it that 'movement'. i just always wanted to do this type of shot, but gt4 doesn't have good graphics when it comes to onboard shots of convertibles, due to resizing, coz in order to have a onboard shot, it must be saved as a 'film' on the memory card first, so it usually turns crappy and is probably resized automatically. hope you guys like this one.

Nicely done, I like how you got the blur in the rear view mirror too. Good attention to detail.

That interior looks pretty amazing, has a nice texture to it. I really like the lighting and colour too. Racing through the bright city streets at night.
You get a great sense of speed with the blur and being inside the car.

Awesome work once again, you are getting better and better every update. Keep it up. đź‘Ť

Haha, I'm glad man. Yup, I want to see that J's!! I love when we leave only GT4 themes to discover more real things. We ususally did this in previous forums.

The HD and PGR graphics are amazing. The McLaren seems going to crash to the buildings

Been a while since i've commented here; i just loved your comp entry and the remixes look damn sweet
