Hi Brandon

There is still room for another one, as we have not yet had 16 drivers in the starting grid, you just need to fill out this form first :

GTPlanet Name / PSN ID / Kart Colour / Kart Number / Kart Model

BrandonW77 / BrandonW77 / TBD / 77 / 125spl

I'm not necessarily committing to the rest of the season, but I'm usually free on Sundays so it's possible. Look forward to racing with you all.

What's the house rule on the giant concrete run off at Deep Forest? Track or out of bounds?

Welcome Brandon 👍

as I know, you can drive/use the "giant concrete run off" at deep, since the Penalities will b set to OFF ;)

No problem, i will put you down as a reserve driver then. At Deep Forrest we use the hole track, which means the concrete is a part of the track :)

Now I'm gonna be able to race today

Allright thats good :)

Cool, I'm fine with it either way, just want to be sure I'm doing what the rest of the group is doing. I could see that area be quite upsetting to the kart, but maybe not. What's a good transmission setting for the tracks?

Brandon before i forget it, be sure you send me an FR over psn, so you can join the races tonight, as its held in my private lounge :)

The sensitivity is more based on which driving style you prefer

Well I set it that way due that yesterday I was testing if this small tweak works and it does, the thing is that sometimes my controler messes up and I have to hit it

Sorry guys, I can deal with wrecking myself or others wrecking me but both of these courses had spots that wrecked me without me making a mistake. Also, either my kart is down on power or my gearing was wrong because other karts were pulling away from me even when I was drafting. I didn't want to be a rolling roadblock so I withdrew.

Qualifying time: 1:23.600

Tonights tracks have some bumps, that are not good for karts, thats for sure. If your kart got 31Bhp & 511pp then it must be your gear setting who are a bit high/low

Anyways hope you have not gotten to worried, and is ready for next sunday races ? :)

You where having a really good pace on specially Deep Forrest :)

This sunday races will be at Trial Mountain & Monaco which also has a few tricky bumps, but not near as bad as Deep Forrest

Just something to the Race Result Box for Rome Reverse:

something got wrong with the quali times I got. Under "Qualifying", position 10 (Sylvinio) and position 11 (johnwells). Sylvinio had a slower lap time then johnwells but started in front him...

John, did you leave the qualifying and joined the track again ?

No Seslab, stayed on track as alway:)

Had a couple of laps the the over night, after races, Trail Mountain, bumpy in places. Yet to try Monaco, sure theres quite a big bump, going through Casino Square, that catches people:nervous:

Brandon, pls look at the first post, so you can see which number for your kart is free, an which not. ;)

77 is not free, because its my number.

And pls be carefull in the first laps next time. You don't need to try to win the race in the 1st of 26 laps, ok.

cya all next sunday

FYI I was being as careful as possible but hit some giant bump in the road that sent my kart airborne. I was a passenger at that point, not much I could do. I don't anticipate participating in any more races, so no worries.

Willie I will not be able to race Sunday, I need to attend a funeral for relation in Canada and will not be home in time to participate.

TO ALL THE REST OF YOU------ would somebody beat Willie! I know the only way I could is if he was blind drunk, but one of you top guys need to step up!

That's true somebody needs to beat Willie but don't get me wrong though

It's not first time that Willie is dominating these kart series/races and i'm sure everyone is trying their best. Willie is just too solid/sound/fast driver that if you wanna win him you need every bit of lucky and also you need to drive at your best whole race - that's easy right?

Is willie quite good at other car racing? I'd assume he'd be sound at that too.

Just wanted to stop in and apologize for quitting mid race this weekend. I had family over at my house and only planned in doing the first race anyway, but after a miserable start and many mistakes, I decided to call it quits and go hang out with the family. I really did enjoy Rome Reverse, thought it made for some really great racing, had a few questionable situations during the race, not sure who is to blame. Also, I was literally upside down in the first corner after a wreck sent me into the wall, that has never happened to me before.

Also, I did write down my Q lap, it was 120.705.

Don't take it personal, but I'm a bit amazed from your post, in particular from a Premium member with +3700 posts ;)
The courses/tracks are the same for everyone of us, so we have to deal all with the same bumps. But you also should know that rome reverse is a pretty difficult track, even for the best driver. btw, all of us spun at least 1 time.

According to replay, all your spins resulted from misstakes from your side ;)
Its true, that you were geared a bit low. but some other driver were geared as low as you and ended race in the midfield...getting good points ;)
Karts have two settings: Gear and Ballast... only two parameter to understand. It can't be easyer.
If you like karting in GT5 you really should continue racing in this series. You can learn a lot here ;)

I didn't want to be a rolling roadblock

that was not the case, your quali time was not bad at all, with a longer gear you even could gain some places on the grid 👍

Sorry to hear that m8.

some beat willie in this season:

Iceman (Suzuka)
Jam_my (GVS Rev.)
seslab (London Rev.)

hehe, not many. you can only beat willie, if willie beats himself :D
Or, drive during 35min. qualifying laps with no mistake :banghead: :D
but no worries m8, I keep trying 👍

Sorry bud, did not see your Q lap in the room ;)

yea, not a good race for you last sunday. but many other were in trouble too. It was pretty agressive racing sometime, on a already difficult track. I was a bit sad when you left the race.
but hang out with the family is never wrong ;)
hope to see you next sunday...mission beat willie :D
