I gave that Stingray a try...
Used that tune:
Knowing that the Car is really tail happy and not easy to control, I got the LSD and did some minor changes to make it more stable, but also a bit understeary...
It is really fast, but all rules that apply to older cars are even more important here...
No late breaking, coast into corners, no accelerating while still turning in...be gentle and patient, this car doesn't like quick movements at all...
Adapt your breaking points and your breaking habits...where i usually use the 100m board as a breaking marker, I liftet at 200m and started to break(gently) at the 150m board, sometimes even earlier...
And don't put the foot(or the finger) on the throttle until you face exactly in the direction you actually wanna go
Fuel: You need FM6 to get safe 3 laps and FM2 to get safe 2 laps...
The car hates its tyres in general, and the one on the left rear side in particular...
Here you can see, what the tire situation for RMs was after two laps:
(so that is another reason to drive this car as soft and gentle as possible...
The race and the weather: Started to rain at the end of lap2(switched to IMs), heavy rain in lap 3, wet roads in lap 3 and 4(for a short moment even in top third of the rain meter), but dryed up real quick in lap 5, lap 6 and 7 mostly dry
I started lap 5 with alomst perfect IMs, by the end of that lap, the IMs looked worse then the RMs in the pic above, the left rear tyre was completly gone, the car was very hard to control in the last 2 corners before the pits...
To my suprise the race ended after lap 6...(bacause the two wet laps were so slow)
Did two time trial laps afterwards with same conditions as in the race and made a 4.16 and a 4.17 lap on FM2...so yes, this car will also win in a completly dry race...
