The next update must be a week close , it start raining " chair legs " at la sarthe from the end of 2nd start of 3rd lap 🥴
Needed 3 runs to find a dry race testing @Chikane_GTR Vette in his exact settings.
From his time i guess was testing cause we have significant differences in lap times .
Note that didn't change tyres for the entire race

The outcome about 2 sec pause before end of 7 lap .

Viper will follow tomorrow .

After a second look i really don't know why i have 8hp more than him .
I put the aero stuff but didn't change rims , kept the original ones.
I really don't know why and from where i gain 8 hp more 🤔 than him.

the weather had not changed much for me, i am still getting a lot more races where i do not have to change to the rain tyres...

i have started the same with Gr.3 cars in stock condition with the restriction that the only adjustment to bring the PP down to 700 is by adjusting the ECU output, no ballast adjustments, not aero adjustments, no Power Restrictor, normal transmission only. the only thing you can buy/equip are rain slicks.

You guys put me in temptation.....
But i think I'll " stick " to my plan till end of October.
Need to buy all cars and if LCD" helps " ill buy the McLaren and Mercedes to put an end to those expensive brides .
With 30 cars total missing, i think 120 millions are enough to buy them all.
Definitely ill try your " best " proposals from your running trip and as always do , I'll try to run as best i can and my average skills allow me.
I might griding at La Sarthe but i always " chase " the best lap possible no mater if the car is slow or fast.
Of course lot of times am just sadbugging with cars i already put many miles on them , especially when am tired .
But using new cars, am always tempted to go as best i can , unless is a " junk " and don't worth to deal with it farther.
Especially those " hybrid" versions that most of them are a disappointment.

At Christmas holidays am planning to get a ps plus subscription and open the window that can bring me closer to my " friends" and to another territory that is fully unknown to me till now.

I try today the Viper gt3 run it for the first time, just had a restart cause first time i realise that i was on intermediate tyres 🥴 .

i try @jrbabbitt " method " using only the ECU to reach 700pp .
I reach only 4 laps with FM6, perhaps due to AT gears that am using.
You move way faster than me .
At FM6 can't change from 5th to 6th gear early and i guess consuming more fuel during the lap.
Anyway even at FM5 am sure that i can't reach your pace at stock form with just lowering the ecu .

I will though put my Fuel Management numbers down as to how many laps I do at my usual setting of FM6.
Your weather reports per lap are top notch and i shall use the same format.
i am compiling my data of recent races / grinds to issue a report of my times, and I have not seen any changes in the weather, it is still light enough that most of my times are without changing my tyres....

I usually do 3-2-2 pit strategy so I can run a lower FM and/or short shift less on the last 4 laps. So my 7th lap is typically my hero lap when it’s dry, but I’m game for lap 2 on this challenge. I’ll certainly be short shifting on 1 and 3 so I can go faster on 2 heh.

I fully agree those 2 category are fully base on the individual and what FM that individual uses.

Yesterday i did one run with 458 Ferrari, good car but " hate " the kerbs , even on sunny weather didn't managed a clear lap 😡 .
Its a common situation using a car for the first time, trying to find the limits,end up collecting penalties 😂 .

Fastest Lap - 4:21.9
Fuel Mapping - 5 Laps on FM6
This BRZ comes stock with the front aero at full maximum so I dropped it to minimum so i would not have to make a drastic cut in power with ECU. Everything else is completely stock

Weather -
Laps 1-2 Are sunny and dry, with blue appearing to the east in radar at end of lap 2
Lap 3 rain starts and gets heavy with Stage 3 accumulation by end of lap when i pit to change to IM
Lap 4 Heavy rains
Lap 5 light rain and stops by end of lap
Lap 6 Track dries out and time runs out before another lap can be started.

This is how i will have my reports and i will have a complete list of the cars and their stats in future...

The Viper comes stock with the front aero at half so I dropped it to minimum so i would not have to make a drastic cut in power with ECU. Everything else is completely stock.

Weather:
Laps 1-2 Are sunny and dry, with rain appearing to the Southeast in radar halfway of lap 2.
Lap 3 rain starts with Stage 2 accumulation by end of lap when i pit to change to IM
Lap 4 Medium rains stays at stage 2
Lap 5 rain stops and by end of lap drying up
Lap 6 Track dries out and tyres needs change back to RH.
Lap 7 final lap with 2 minute lead.

One more race and I'm done for the night..

(I work nights so my time is limited when I get home from work, this is my unwinding time but lately I've been working harder and I get tired a little easier, I try to do the long grinding sessions like I had started but get sleepy a bit.)

Lap 5 Rain stops and still stage 1, enter pits for fuel only.
Lap 6 Track dries out and continues on.
Lap 7 finished with 1:22 lead.

lap 3 - green appears but doesn't show rain at first so I make the decision not to pit "Oh boy that's a decision I will live to regret heavy rain starts middle of the lap.
Lap 4 - Rain stops and map clears out skies reminds overcast.
Lap 5 - More green appears first half no rain, Heavy rain second half for a few seconds.
Lap 6 - Clear and sunny.
No lap 7.

Yesterday did only one run with the new Zonda R that i bought.
Raced stock form lowering the ECU .
Ill work on it today, what amazed me was his tyre wear .
Happens to be dry and tyres last for 7 laps without any wear notice.
Ill post my impressions after giving him a special treatment today .

Lap 2 Dry, then heavy rains at end of lap forced a trip down pit road for IMs and top off of fuel.
Lap 3 Stage 2 accumulation at beginning, rains stop at 2nd chicane.
Lap 4 Stage 1 accumulation, heavy rain in radar, going to pits for new tyres and top off.
Lap 5 Rain with stage 2 accumulation, rains stop at end of sector 4.
Lap 6 Still wet.
Lap 7 Finish race with 2+ minutes.

Anyway today i put my hands on Zonda R 09

Fm6 all the way managed exactly 4 laps with full abuse on AT gears

Lap 1 dry
Lap 2 dry and the car start revealing his potential
Lap 3 clouds on the sky , few blue spots but away from track and am on a charge .
Lap 4 i am for pitstop and close to the last sector the blue spots are filling the radar , inside for fuel and intermediate tyres.
Lap 5 heavy rain started and fill the track with standing water, the Zonda has no problems to copy even on inappropriate tyres.
Lap six start raining again lighter this time and before the end of the lap the sun came out.
Lap 7 ....... what ? there isn't any lap 7 .

And the settings

Overall , quite good car , i use racing gear box instead of manual cause he has better acceleration even at lower hp.
Brakes is a thing to take care in this car cause aren't so strong and need longer distance.
But definitely he worth the money you spend at it .

Also i found the worst car in fuel consumption till now at the game , the Zagato vgt .
Oh boy this car i doubt if he can pass the 1.4 laps at FM1 since at FM 6 can manage 2 😂 .

Tomorrow its the turn of Fina McLaren powered by bmw .

Just suffer my first second place I pitted for fuel and tires on lap 3 and there was light rain falling but I thought its light so I'll stay on RH tires and big mistake on my part cause the game had other ideas.

Its cool it was a fun mistake either way.

Lap 3 Staying out on RH (mistake) heavy rains with stage 3 accumulation before 2nd chicane, driving slow (below 100 mph). Enter pits for IM tyres and fuel top off.
Lap 4 Still raining and still stage 3.
Lap 5 Stops raining and accumulation is down to stage 2.
Lap 6 Drying out and accumulation is now stage 1. Finish race in P1 as time expires.
Lap 7 No lap 7 at this time.
