I did it!! With srf and whatever help the game can give me (tcs:1), alas chased down the miura!
For less talented drivers like me, buy new murcielago sv. Upgrade everything that does not increase pp. (even carbon bonnet) add all aero parts, downforce rear 25, engine limiter 85.1%( to get wide high torque useable range), ballast 156kg -2 position, fixed sports suspension. Max speed 199mph. Bb 5:3. Do not oil change.
1st try was 2nd 3 seconds behind, restart before race end, 2nd try 1 sec behind (restart before end), 3rd try won by 0.5sec. Trick is to restart so that your hp and pp increases beyond the 550pp limit as you drive. You need to less than 2 seconds behind before the straight or the miura will pull away. Mine is 552pp after race. If you keep restarting and engine breaks in, it may be possible to reach 557 pp which the miura is having. Every intention to keep restarting till I even the odds but third time's a charm.
Not honorable but for those desperate to 'complete' the seasonal.
Fairly clean, 2 wheels on track, light AI scrapping drive.
Try it if nothing else works.

Tried @ 465PP..304hp...150kg=1560 all up, no aero, and came in second, 9.32 secs behind 1st place! Best lap was 1.44.85 sec with total time 8.55.5.
The winning Muira did a 8.46 total.
Don't recall a lead car being so far in front before, or maybe a 2nd place so far behind, in any case I will start a new race instead of going with this crew again.

The second place Muira crashes some of the time leaving the lead guy by himself. This hurts your chances as you don't get to use draft of number 2 to catch leader. If you get real lucky 1 crashes and 2 gets caught up in it.

Congrats noobie. Nothing to be ashamed of if you have to use aids as long as you run a clean race, which it sounds like you have. Even tho I only use ABS 1, I don't think any less of people who use other aids. If it helps you, then go for it. Nothing to hang your head about. Not everyone can be or is interested in being an alien driver. Congrats again on your accomplishment.

I was able to win the Toscana race using Fruity's tune with the Gallardo at 475 PP, but that still didn't earn $2M.

EDIT: Won at 468 PP with a couple seconds to spare: $2,100,560

Congratulations 👍 , have you tried it with both std diffs ? I still have not tried bellow 490pp yet , been trying the Ring again & again LOL Still 8secs to find :ouch:

Cheers Ozi

Using the Gallardo, I've left Rome for later, have finished Autumn Ring, Tokyo, and Toscana and was working on Nurb. Was so close in the last attempt and went off track at the last bend before the the straight before salvaging some speed and finishing in third, but .723 seconds behind second who was about the same behind 1st.

I'm also hopping into my reduced PP F2007 to run the Indy Ferrari seasonal for 2.4 million sometimes, so I can grab the Miura and give that a go. Trouble is the UCD has put up the Lister Storm and RX-7 LM Race Car, both of which I didn't have, and so the funds aren't rising quick enough.

Edit: Add a 350Z Concept LM Race Car and an R390 GT1 Road Car '98 to the UCD popups and my Miura savings are going nowhere fast. Unbelievable.

I have to say I have never noticed any draft benefit whatsoever in this race.

Maybe it's placebo, but I could have sworn they give me a tow on the straights. I'm pretty sure I hit the limiter (with my 468 PP specs) only when I get a draft, but I certainly still couldn't keep up with the AI due to their power advantage.

If you are driving at 500+ PP maybe you don't notice, but set power so you are slower than AI in a straight line and you might notice.

Anyone else notice draft?

The race at the Ring is a different beast. I beat that, but just barely and at max allowed PP. Took a few tries too. I was using Max DF, but now that I have played with the car with lower DF it would have been better to lower it and sub in more power.

Finally cracked the $2 mil mark. $2.03,135..xp..225680.

Had tried at 470PP and come second a few times so dropped the PP a tad and added a Sports Exhaust to make it up to 470PP again, 317hp, 1572kg. That worked a treat.
Best lap (Toscana) 1.43m..total...8.42, won by 4.295 sec, after a couple of harvey wall bangers.
One more tonight then have to buy some more cars tomorrow as too much dough.
That sports exhaust seemed to do the trick. Will try a lower PP.

Hey, has anyone won the Nord with a fully stock Gallardo w/o going off track or hitting the AI? Just want to know if I'm attempting the near impossible! I tried a few times but got so annoyed with the AI veering into me I quit.

any advice for the nurburging, I got the rest of the 4... but the ring seems impossible (and I tried with pretty much every lamborghini I could buy and tweak)

Just keep trying.. It'll happen... What helped me is using the Miura for a few attempts.. I then went back to fruitys tuned gallardo and won it with no problem..

if I only had the miura! :( (or the aventador, which I can't buy because of the DLC not working, cause here in Romania we get the "not available in your country" message when we try to acces the PSN)

The event was create in a stupid way. You can't put 3 Miura in a 5 laps race, I won, but tried many many many times. At Nurburing the best I did was third place, the 2 miura were too fast and heavy to beat in only one lap. With ferrari event they gave 2 laps in nurburing and 10 laps for the others, that's was well done.

you can borrow mine?

Didn't realize the Ring was going to be such a pain... I was doing the races easily in my 520pp Gallardo until I got to the Ring. Ended up having to use a maxed out 550PP Miura, and then only managed to pass the leaders in the last turns.

Found my winnings etc had not been saved last night so I started again with only $14 odd mill. Saved me buying more cars I don't want anyway but put me back at 38 level.
At Toscana dropped the PP to 466, 308hp, 56.2% power, 1586 kg and won by 2.235sec's. I found I had also lost the Sports Exhaust I acclaimed last night.
$2,137,969..exp 273863.
Will try lower PP.

Did the lead cars spin out on lap 5 ? I am stuck on 470pp & find I have to race all the way with very few of the A1 spinning out :ouch: This is my best so far .

All I did was take a Murcielago SV, dropped it's power, replaced the transmission with a fully-customizable one and adjust the top speed settings for each track. Rome was around 280km/h if im not wrong and just be consistent in your driving. I also installed all the drivetrain parts although I am still unsure if it actually has any effect 💡 Passed the rabbit Miura at the second last corner on the last lap, although I made a few small trips to the wall. Hope this helps! 👍

The Muira's don't belong in these races I'm using a Countach '88

I'll try a murcielago but these seasonals are getting worse I'm not having fun anymore:grumpy: If this is how GT6 is going to be I'm not buying it I have bought all gt's and GT5 Prolouge and GT5 are terrible the worst of the series:tdown:

True, this seasonal is exceptionally difficult compared to the others. But I feel that it's still a good experience for me overall as it really requires me to push even harder to get gold. Staying positive is key!!! My first GT is GT5 and I am thoroughly enjoying it through a dfgt wheel. Im sure Kaz will do an even better job in the future in gt6 for us hungry fans. 👍 Oh and all the best for the seasonal again! Get the braking and turning points right in Rome and make sure you don't get blocked by those annoying Murcielagos and Countachs. Momentum in the corner before the back straight is also important!

I know what I'm about to say is not going to go over well with some people, but I just feel the need to speak out about this. Up until recently, people were complaining that these events were too easy and that they needed a challenge. Well, now you got your wish and you still complain, lol. I personally welcome the change and quite frankly, wouldn't care one bit if they ramped it up even more. I am no alien and had a bit of trouble with these myself but I accepted the challenge with a positive mind and completed them. The way I see it, the harder the events, the more you are forced to up your game and in the end, you will become a better skilled driver because of it. Again, this is not meant as a slam against anyone struggling with these events, its just my personal view. All I can say to those who were complaining about events being too easy, be careful what you wish for.

I understand a challenge but the first Muria is a quarter a head by the end of the first lap I have tuned my Countach '88 as best I can my tune has gotten better with every adjustment but it's at the best I'm capable of I'm still getting used to understanding how to tune in this game I think the AI should slow down after so many restarts I mean how many times I have to try before I move on to another event or race I guess seasonals are for expert players only I'm glad I allready bought the Nomad Diablo awhile back no big deal to gold this one I guess I golded all 6 GTA events and 7 & 8 I completed not golded Rant over ty for your time.

I agree with you totally. This seasonal is classed as an expert challenge- and sorry to be blunt- if you cannot win, it is because you arent quick enough.. Bagging out pd; slandering the game itself;boycotting GT6 etc. is lame. Oh well, at least all the whiners will be happy with the new Suzuka TT... Another chance for them to get out their obese, power-choked, dirty-oil 2j's and copy each others tramsmission settings.

I was with you all the way up until the 2J part. Yes, I will be using my dirty oil 2J but I don't copy anyone's trans settings thank you. I have my own setup that I use. I do try other cars, but if its the 2J thats the best one for the challenge, then thats the one I'm going to use. Sorry, but you come accross as bitter for whatever reason. Don't really appreciate your attitude towards those of us that use that car.

help me out with the trans I can't get them to the exact positions some are off I've done everything from setting to default to changing the oil to even buying another lamborghini still ends up being off what am I doing wrong

I have to say I have never noticed any draft benefit whatsoever in this race.

I notice draft benefit, but as the Miuras and some other cars are more powerful than my Gallardo, the effect isn't the same as usual. There's still an increase in speed and top speed though. It's just that if you are far enough back, you will fall out of the slipstream rather than move further into it.

Did a couple on 460pp with 300hp, 1610kg. I got up to 2nd on the last lap and by the time we hit checkered flag I was about 2 seconds off. So it could be done I got a little over 1.3 mill with 130% bonus.

Edit: Just won with 460pp with 286hp and 1500kg. Took the lead around the first turn on the last lap.and won by 3 seconds. Won 2mill with 130%.
