Acquired. This finishes off my Mclaren F1 collection

I won't even bother buying the rest of the legend cars that I don't have until I acquire at least 50M credits, and to do that I would be forced to grind all the WTC races and finishing them with CRB's. Very difficult to pull it off at times depending on how hard and aggressive the A.I. are in each different event race.
The only way to lose the CRB at Sardegna and LeMans is to pass under the yellow flag. You can hit the AI cars as much as you want.

Really! I didn’t know that. I always race those races with no contact at all.

Small tip. I am no pro but those races are really easy if you set game difficult easy on settings.

It started mine! Using it to grind Le Mans 700 as I save for the next one.
Aston Martin DBR9 has been my goto car for that since I won it in a Ticket from the Weekly Challenges. 3 clicks down on Horsepower and even on hards, its easy street (Until it rains of course, but even then the showers are rarely ever long or hard enough to be a real worry).

All I have left from the 20 Million cars to get is the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Mercedes W194, will likely prioritize the Mercedes since its the newest of the 2.

TBH I think you are absolutely right. I love that car is it one my favorites. After I get the 330 I might save up to buy a 2nd Daytona. I bought the Green Z that had in LCD last night I couldn't remember if I had one that color.
The 330 is excellent. Great cockpit view, great sound.

Here it goes a very unpopular opinion.

The Shelby Daytona is one of the best (and fun to drive) 20M cars.
And it would be so cool to do a one-make custom races with 10-12 AI opponents in the medium difficulty. Maybe at Watkins Glen or Laguna Seca? Or really any track you feel better doing it at. I know I'll do it once I acquire that special Shelby car.

@RACECAR my goal is to hopefully acquire every legend car by the end of 2026, or maybe even the middle of that year. It depends on how much time I spend grinding campaign mode races and sport mode event races. But family is more important, so my time maybe limited now that my mom has ovarian cancer.

Ok I bought the Jag without thinking about it, just for the trophy, I hope to have 20 mill for next 330P4 rotation. Right now my balance is 20 mill for the McLaren F1 `94

I really want that car!

Just need to grind 30.000.000 cr and I am 100% complete if the "game" let me have the non-sense invites.

I think this game is the only one I know, that does not matter how much effort you put on it, or no matter if your account it´s at 100.000.000 cr or if you gold everthing you cannot finish it at 100% for the invites.

I read comments people waiting more than a year playing eveyday just to get the ******** 4*/5* tickets.

Just an update:

The Shelby Daytona of 20 mil on sale now is dark blue with white stripe.
Is the only color available or there are others available?
Just to understand if to kill almost all my money with this one…

It is the only color for it.

@LANDO I have grinded the money and I have bought all the cars (minus one. The Mercedes W156) and I have driven most of the legendary cars.

If I may say something.... It is not worth the time and effort one may put into it.

I do regret the time I spent grinding.

I have to agree with you, I will grind just for the top 6 cars of my list above, just 30.000.000 more. The economy of the game is broken price vs. rewards and so on.

I grind when I have the time but otherwise I use the "no so popular" technique of Daytona + R4 + Tomawawk gear rate to 50 mph + dualsense rubber band it xD

We can drive some Legendaries in missions, licenses or even in GR3 online, and yes I get the obsession to collect them all. I am in that point.

I wish more races give good money. Like I love racing in trial mountain or deep forest but don't race too much there mainly cause the amount of money is too low compare to lemans Tokyo or Sardegna

Sometime I had the same thoughts…
Shall I grind all that money to buy 1 car or spend the same for 20 VGT or 50 GR.4 cars ?

I am missing 80 cars to complete.
What happen if I will leave around 20 “monsters” and I stop before?

Which are the cars that really deserve to be bought?
How many I have never driven and which ones I will buy with so much effort and I will never drive?

I guess first of all comes the feeling that you accomplished the mission of having all the cars to your garage rather than what you will ever drive or not.

The most garbage for me and the cars that I'll never drove second time ( some not even one ) are most of the VGT's especially the EV ones that are TOTALLY useless .
On the contrary the unicorns you can still drive them but not that is a necessity or that you miss something extraordinary .
Still you get the feeling of their era ( short of)

I fully agree that some cars are outrageous expensive but that's how the game is build anyway .

They just give you reasons to collect and spend for something and that's obvious, first with all these modifications that cannot be undone and you have to buy a new one , wide cars , tuning parts etc.
Next are the swapped cars with most of them without success and some are very pricey also.
Also note that players who start early with the game, took advantage of some glitches from time to time and fill their credit bang sooner making their life easier at the collector side.
Am always around 100 millions credits a year and more now and i have to make room for the new ones so am buying cars and among them are some Unicorns also for second time .
And if i had to get rid cars from my garage, the first with some exceptions it will be all that VGT crap.

I totally agree with you.
I have found horrible to drive some VGT cars… and I am thinking to not even buy all of them and not complete the collection…
Until today I have never done any swap.
Some of them could be understandable but many others… bah…
For some cars I don’t buy any upgrade to keep it as close as possible to the original feeling.
In some cases I buy just the simplest upgrade version as we could do with the help of a local mechanic.
The Shelby or the GTO require an effort to be bought that for my car passion are understandable.
I am really close to push the button “buy” for the Shelby… even if I would like to have to spend much less…

The VGTs they all are useless. To me at least. For a while I kept the Ferrari one that was gifted after a GTWS (don't remember which year). I used it to complete the VGT races in the events directory. After that I switched to the Bugatti, for it was the closest to a real car. Sold both them and never looked back.

Collecting cars wise, I came to realize that there's a whole pack of VGTs and Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars that total around 200 cars (I believe?). 200 cars, give or take, that I bought and couldn't care less.... Gr.3 and 4 you can always rent and test drive them in online races (if that's a thing you do) and then buy 2 or 3 you really like. For me, it's the damn boat of the Viper, the Mustangs, the Porsches and the NSXs. If you want to go really cheap, just sign on with a constructor and enter the GTWS in order to get a pair of "sponsorship cars". For free. No need to have them all.

Then you have another good number of legendary cars that are either crap or useless in the game's events. And they cost you an eye and a kidney.... Again, for me at least.

And yes, I have bought them all, test driven them all, and I can say that (for me, again.... For my personal taste) they are crap and expensive. Which led me to regret big time grinding for them.

See what I mean? Lots of cars that took me time to buy and they are useless. I'd rather spent my time discovering cars in a more natural way and enjoy them more.

I'm a firm believer that you should buy the cars you like, you may have a connection from previous games or cars you admire and like in real life or whatever. Drive them, tune them, hot lap them and have fun with them. Regardless they are the fastest or not, but always thinking about how much fun you have. Even if your opinion is different from the majority of the player base. Or different from what I just shared with you.

Grinding is (was) just not fun for me. Just another unpopular opinion of mine.

I don’t do swaps, don’t wide the body, no parts I cannot remove in Legendary cars.

Some swaps are OK and successful but the majority is just to spend somewhere your extra credits.

Wide bodies is a closed road for me some time ago , they aren't allowed to use them at TT's for example and their use is mostly at liveries rather than racing.

Also the unwritten rule says :
Never ever spoil unicorns with permanent mods on them .

Finally everyone can do as he like without be on the wrong side if doesn't match to our opinion, some want all colours for example, why to blame them ?

@VTEC Driver if you have a preference at a unicorn car just buy it , definitely none of them deserve the credits that worth according to their performance.
I bought first all cars at LCD and USD and leave for last what i was missing from Dealer shop .

Always you can use the alternative way that @skydragon49 wrote and sell what for you, just use space at your garage .
Am just buying cause there's no other way to keep my credits and not waist them .
TT's and weeklies are more than enough to earn the credits i need for buying every new cars that comes with the updates whatever the price is .
