BTK:*Whispers* Pssst... Pssst. Diabolic..
Diabolic: What?
BTK:*Whispers* Hey, it's sprint racing night. I have four degrees of camber in my car. It will last.
Diabolic: Jesus.... Will you tune my car?
BTK: Duh!

Try adding ballast to the rear of your FF car instead of the front.get a 50/50 balance and you will get the car to rotate better.

"HE is known as White Van Man and is the most feared driver on the road. But he is about to be tamed. Transport watchdogs plan to crack down on the young male van driver who looms in your rearview mirror, comes within feet of your bumper and usually makes obscene gestures until he forces his way past.

lol........how true 'dat?

Psst. I wasnt talking bout any track in particular just that the FF tune Im thimking of makes tires last longer. Sure it makes the car a dead whale entering corners, but it will remain consistent below average for 20% more laps rather than good..ok...holy 🤬 over the same time. Again not London only but in general.

So I was planning on picking up the rest of the bolt-on power-adders and the height adjustable suspension since it's cheap and would let me add some camber. Then, last night in the 450pp Hot Hatch room, I pulled out my slow CRX. I was getting killed so I did a quick search in the tuning forum.... nothing for the CRX. I kept digging around and found a tune for some other FF with similar power/weight so I figured I'd give it a shot. Threw it on there and what do you know... it was rocking the corners! Ok, so it was a little too tail happy at first, but a little less toe out in the rear and it felt good.

So now I'm thinking I need to just go ahead and plop down the 15k for the fully adjustable suspension. The height-only doesn't let you play with toe and the spring rates are barely adjustable. Do most people end up buying the fully adjustable or just make do with the cheaper one?

Most people get by with fixed or height adjustable suspensions. Although toe can really help an FF car, sometimes its just better to get some straight line speed, since at the power levels we run most of the tracks will be full throttle.

In the past most people haven't bothered with the FC suspension...it's a bit too much coin for the payback. By the last race, your car won't be fast enough to be competitive.

Now, since we're doing Indy for the last race, and there are a good number of corners there, it might be a different story...

Is it work 15k tho ? How many more Pp can you get for the extra 10.5K?

The Man can try...but he won't get me down.

Nope, tomorrow. You, Huyler, and Wiifreak all race on Wednesday now.

And Diabolic. Yeah, that's right. On Wednesdays. Yeah, with my wife. Yeah... Morgan Fairchild.

I can see it all now......the start of London Lemons.....turn 1....7 guys in front of me & 7 guys in back of me.....hmmmm......what should I do.....go fast....go slow.....or....? And I get to do it 4 times. Oh the fun. Good Luck y'all.

Geezer

hehe.

At least damage will be on light so the race won't be over for anyone in the first turn (X4). My car and I suck at London (I think I finally eeked out a 1:05.5 last night in Vols lounge), but I'm excited about tonight. Should be fun. :)

Dude, I do not want to think about the size of your "skill."

His wife is EyeTalion, and they don't need big "skills" to fulfill their needs.

Hell yes. With all captains chairs, and the optional power package, please!

There wasn't a captains chair option.

Even if i purposely get last i still only drop to mid table. This system is f'd up

I don't believe it's as bad as you think. True, you don't have a lot of money to upgrade, but you're doing good on points. I have the highest "rewards" so far, but I have to average 2 and half positions better than you in the rest of the races to pass you in the championship.

I think it's going to end up pretty tight at the end.

PS. Are any of ya'lls wives using your PS3 to watch the Twilight movies right now... gearing up for the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn on thursday night? No? Ok. See ya'll in a bit. :/

God no. My wife is watching the Bruins right now. I'm in the process of converting home movies to DVD. I'm hoping the tape of Christmas 1987 finishes in time for me to get some practice in before the race.
