A few tips for those that can't put down a 1:54 or better...
Turn 2 (the first major left) is a double apex. You don't have to hit the first one, but hitting the 2nd one is critical to gaining speed. Don't miss that first one if you've got someone on your tail...if they steal that apex they'll block you from getting the 2nd apex by the time you get your car pointed in the right direction.
Turn 3 I usually apex mid-corner with two wheels in the dirt. If you apex early you'll run out of track on exit and will have to lift.
Turn 4 can be taken without braking. Lift off the throttle early to get a little front bite and then get back on the gas as soon as you see the exit.
Turn 5 is an early apex but don't fight hard for it. You will have plenty of track on exit if you can't get to the bottom of the track. Momentum is key because the next section is uphill.
Turn 6 is safest if you brake early and turn in very early. Inside wheels into the dirt and slingshot up the hill.
The corkscrew is best to brake early, before you reach the first marker, and turn in early to protect your position. Ease into throttle on exit and stay to the outside to avoid bottoming out the suspension.
Rainey curve is all about throttle modulation. Lift off and most RWD cars will oversteer. Get back on the throttle to plant the rear end. You shouldn't have to brake.
The final turn is critical for momentum down the straight. You can sacrifice a little on entry to get a better exit speed. Just remember, slow in, fast out!
