I had some oral surgery today (second time, long story, but looks like the myxoma is back). I'm sore, my mouth is full of gauze, and I'm on Roxicet for the pain.

Wow, I'm a little loopy. I don't mind, cause I really didn't expect to do well this week (this is a tricky track). In practice I was doing 1:32-133s, and I'm sure that is several seconds off the pace.

Anyway, I'm going to try very hard to keep from wrecking anyone, and I probably won't be but so chatty.

The other way is black magic silly. I have to have my mic off. (well it will be on so I can hear just the car on the TV) Been quite sick for a couple days and I dont feel too chatty either. Should you see me sitting on the side of the road, assume I'm not starting back up.

On a side note...I can let you know of a Jack in the Box location in St. Louis I will not be going to agai for a long time. 🤬

EDIT: Me quitting for any reason is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, however if I cant keep food down....I certainly dont want it near my PS3

Anyone who is a lap down, DON'T RACE THE CARS THAT ARE'NT ON THE SAME LAP AS YOU.

I got held up at least three times by lap traffic who decided to race me instead of let me by. I would've had second place comfortably.

I just ran a single lap test from standing start-- 8:15.444. The laps during day with draft will be 10 seconds faster. Laps at night will be 10 seconds slower. That said, I believe seven laps will make for the most exciting race.

Was that a 'clean' lap?

the schedule doesn't say 24hr cycle. ...but if the consensus is to run the track at night, i won't object. I think people have enough trouble staying on that track in the daytime.

PS, was everyone sleeping last night? you let diabolic get another podium?

I'm guessing your tires will hold out for seven laps..

Your brother can't. :P

I told you all I have nurb in my pocket, you all shouldn't even show up.

We'll see. All it takes is one car to bump or damage you. That's what I'm worried about. Must qualify up front!!!!!!

Ps how did you arrive at your 7 laps guesstimate?!?. U and Diabolic figure out your tires will fun exactly seven laps?!?

I thought we we're running 24HR cycle? Two laps light, probably 3 laps dark and the 2-3 laps light if I remember from last two seasons

@ Cujo--The races are lasting an hour on average. If we run 8ish minute laps we can run roughly 7 laps without going too far beyond an hour. 7 laps...8 laps, I'll be pitting once either way.

I'm betting my car is quite slow by comparison to most, Geezer. I spent half my budget on the expensive spoiler and mid grade suspension rather than on power. I was able to maintain a higher average top speed because of this. I'm currently running with 190HP and 422PP with the ballast and reduced aerodynamics.

ie- the spoiler on the FTO is 500, but I believe the MGF spoiler as 1500 or 2000. I dont quite remember.

@ Geezer-- Was your time with sports soft tires?

The MG we know is a cheater car, we know this from last season. But, I've got podium twice this season with my trashy little car. I love it, again.

NURB iS MiNE

Nurb isn't yours... That track lets cars stretch their legs and yours doesn't have any.. Dabney, me, and cujo will run out front next week.

Run 24 hrs, but not weather change! Fix it sunny.

Yah, your stupid car is really fast, too.

If your car was trashy...Nic wouldnt use it!

One more thing about the cheater car. Its not the car, its the drivetrain. When you think about cars favorable at particular levels, you always think MR class. NSX, Lotus, MR2s and now the MGF. Any MR car with a capable driver behind it could be considered a cheater car when people roll up in heavier FF cars and equally light, but far looser FR cars within the same class. I'm not discounting its a great car, I'm merely adding that multiple cars in this race are at a great advantage over others. Next week, things will even out. If it rains at Suzuka for an extended period, it will even out. The other two...we'll have to see.

Do what you like for Tuesday but Wednesday's race will be on the exact track specified "Nürburgring Nordschleife". That's not the 24hr track, and it will be daylight. I'd rather see some close racing rather than a crash fest. We've got weather and night racing later in the series.

QFE.

Besides, the track selection for this season isn't looking as good as last season. We've already had a podium repeat, and we've only had one driver that has finished on the podium and also finished in the back of the field.

24 hours or not, I expect no one in the back of the field will do well on the Nordschleife. I will at least try to give them a chance.

Back of the field being those like me with a car with around 460hp now, and sport softs to use? Dude.. Its gonna be a rockin race.

So, we are not doing time change? Was this always the case? I was counting on that to keep me in front of the FF cars who might miss a brake point in the nighttime. :(

Hopefully you meant 460PP and not HP or you'll win every race left.
