Also, garris, I believe out of most vehicles entered, my car is outclassed. I've have just lucked out, and exploited it's strong points, and been lucky enough to not crash. Which makes a difference. I wouldn't say my car is better, your car should have about 10k more in upgrades now, which means if you made the right choices, would make your car faster. A lot faster.

I dont find my driving style to be all the aggressive.

...but you might.

:mischievous:

I mentioned last week that I would just add the racing filter for Nurb seeing how I'd have no extra money. :sly:

I know for a fact that his should be faster since I'm driving the same thing as him with less than half of his upgrade budget and keeping up with you. The only other possibility is that the car is crap and I'm amazing.

Drat, there is a system update.

But yes, I am complete rubbish. I think that has been established very clearly. If I push the car any harder, I crash. That's why I like the parity system. Problem is, the track selection has completely negated the parity system. Last season I had mid pack finishes, and even a podium. This season we've not only had repeat podiums, we are going to have a triple tonight.

Damn straight were gonna have a repeat podium. Ikea Elite is killin' it.

Although, I plan to be on top of it tonight.

You're not the only one little buddy. IKEA ELITE to the front! Let's see if we can do 1-2-3 again tonight.

Well, I was supposed to sub for leadbedr. I ran the ps3 for an hour last night and everything was fine. Today as the updates are going it is YLOD again. I give up!

Sorry leadbedr, I can't keep the POS running.

Have a good race all.

I handed the race to BTK on a nice silver platter. Three pits due to poor driving, only myself to blame.

This was the one I was looking to win too... :(

I owe diabolic for the win, he let me have it. TOLD YALL NURB WAS MINE.

X-posting from the wendesday thread on why I wasn't there...

I haven't been able to get my PS3 online since 3.72 came out. Don't know what the problem is but unless it fixes itself I probably won't make the race tonight.

Just so we're clear. I lifted so we didnt catch BTK. Then he binned it at the end and I had to let him pass me back.

My first of two pits was a direct result my interaction with Miata and his unusually early brake points. He may have had damage, but his car wasnt tracking off (though he could have a wheel) Or he might have been going easy for a no pit strategy or maybe he just didnt trust the person behind him wouldnt pit him. Either way, I planned on not pitting that race, but I also planned on just getting 2nd.

I'm pleased

Ah Ha! Now I know why my car smells like Swedish Meatballs and Absolut when I take it off line. At least you could slide the seat back after your done driving it between races. :)

I'm really disappointed in myself for last night's race...should have been MUCH cleaner, and I would have been in contention.. I'd have an awesome lap (eg: 8'10 on fresh tires), then as I was on track for an 8'06 or better, would bin it somewhere after the Karoussel (sp?), and have wheel/worse damage...roll back around for a 9'xx and then start again.

Each time I had a repaired car, I would make up huge amounts of time on the leaders, only to have it slip out again... *sigh* I definitely didn't test enough, because I think I had way too much camber, and my braking suffered :(

Huge congrats to BTK..lord knows it was the driver, and not the POS car he's driving.

Well, I did do a lot of practice, and it felt like such a waste. Mind you, I only wrecked myself once, but that lap took me over 12 minutes.

Regrettably, on that wrecked lap, you came up on me and we wrecked. :( I hate that most of all. And it happened to you last week at Autumn Ring, you came up on MMK as he was out of control and couldn't help but total your car then.

Yeah, that was nuts... I did wait for you tho! :). Had nowhere to go, fast, after that.. :(

Anyone have a 70 skyline they could send me to use in the wednesday series? (In an hour)

Well, I do appreciate that, but I was already off my line when you hit me, you really didn't need to wait. My car was very barely under control when you came on me.

As I recall, shortly after that I passed you and as I did, I got near the dreaded 80 MPH. My car lost control again and hit the wall. I could not keep it stable at high speed, thus my lap took so long.

Cujo jumps on the podium!!!!!! Next race in the rain and I've got FF. Brilliant. I hope it dumps!!!!!!

Yes, well, you'll have to beat Dabneyd, Pyxen, and Leadbedr. And I don't know, but I think Bender's Altezza and Dika's Celica may be FFs, too.

We will start with rain, which means it will last for about 5 laps, and then be dry 5 laps after that. This is a faster course, though, so we should have something of an advantage over the fleet of MRs, the MG, and Bowtie.

Still, I think the best I can expect is 8th.

:odd:

EDIT: I see below that Bowtie may have had the exact same response I had when reading the above post. He may have had a greater outburst...as I was at work, but the feeling was the same.

The Altezza is FR.

Just wondering if maybe.....welll, Bowtie you could probably answer this question for me.

Ummm...what drivetrain is the MGF I run?

I can't figure it out. I'll wait here till you let me know. Dont anyone else answer. I wont believe you and will therefore find you in contempt of this thread.

I'm on the edge of my seat! Only 6 days till I can find out exactly what this something is. First guess....you bought a GT-R. Am I right?

I believe the MG is FWD Diabolic, that's why you mulch through front tires, also, as I recall, I saw the secret weapon. It was small, had no roof, or lights, and had a 8" slick on the back!
