Power is important, but as I found out last season you still have to drive the car well and not wreck.
I must say, the '70 Skyline was the most planted car I drove. Virtually no throttle oversteer on the final turn of GVE-R. I'm not sure if that was due to grip, or lack of torque though. I could hit the throttle well before the apex.

. Good chance that 70 will be my choice for WednesdayCujo, I though you were running the '73? The '73 was totally different when I tested it. Very easy to break the rear end loose.
Sl3ight, you described the '70 perfectly. It's very smooth all around. I do quite a bit of trail braking and like to load my tires up gradually so I know exactly how much to brake. The car performed perfect in that respect...something I can't seem to do in FF cars in this game. The MRs are a little more tricky with the trail braking. you've got to get the brake b
alance just right to prevent them from swapping ends.
The Nissan Silvia Varietta (S15) '00
It is turbo capable, FR, pretty, and stable. It is a bit heavy, but because of that, the engine has a bit of power.
Why did you tell him!?

That is certainly it. Not many late model FRs to choose from at this pp level. The 80's FRs are overrated and don't perform well. The 70's FRs need a few mods to get there but still don't blow away the competition.I think it's the FR + Turbo aspect that's bringing a lot of people to it.
How many times have I mentioned we should stop talking about that car
Btw...we were talking in the room last night, and I think everyone agreed that the Nurburgring Time Change is a better track than the normal one...I *love* driving in the dark, and it's way better there than at La Sarthe (because there's ......(suspense)...... turns).
Can we please use the time change Green Hell instead ?
That was the one course while I was in that that I almost didnt win. You (Pyxen) were closing my gap and then you were gone. The darkness takes no prisoners
I'm pretty sure most of us thought running the Nurburgring at night was a terrible idea. Though I'm all for running Time Change, if we set time progression to 1(realtime), and start time to about 9AM.
Diabolic, we still need to decide on our colors for this season. Get back to me.
The love-fest begins... First its the colour of drapes, erm I mean cars, then its pitting order and where to put the bays along pit lane...before you know it, someone will have sideswiped someone else, and they'll be deciding who gets which tires, or how they share custody of the pit crew... We've seen it all before.
Bwhahahaha
I had a varietta POP up in my UCD. Not the Dang car I want. But if anyone doesn't have one and wants it, I've got one
