2'02.609 best for me but I was a tenth up on that in the first sector before I had to eat and I reckon I can get another 2 tenths out of the first sector and probably another tenth in the last+2nd
Miles and gallons and all that makes way more sense.Wouldn't that be 700?
Sweden and GB are traitors, they are in the EU but refuse to use the common currency
GB is worse though because they don't even use meters or grams. Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't use litres either.
I only got up to 42mph, but we were on country lanes so I didn't want to go much faster. But basically everything is very sensitive and takes a high level of precision to get it right- you also need to do about 3-4 things at one.
For example when you come up to a junction, you come of the gas and check you're mirrors, signal the way you wish to turn and begin lightly braking. As you brake down you have to clutch in and change down then when you come to a stop you clutch in and ease up on the brake. You then have to check the road is clear find the bite point on the clutch, steer and use a bit of gas to get away while slowly easing out the clutch and then you continue.
It's a hell of a lot to remember and do, but I'm certain I'll get it with practice and time.

I've only ever driven on country roads and I got like 90kph the last day(stupid speedometer doesn't do miles) I've driven a power-steering Passat and a non-power steering Polo, I preferred the Polo. And yeah, don't worry, soon enough the clutch and stuff will become second nature, annoyingly, I won't be able to drive legally for another year, as I'm only turning 16 next week, one of my friends is 17 next week aswell but he has no interest in learning to drive.
I know but the tap on the brakes turns the nose in better- otherwise I oversteer out too much- I'll work on it tomorrow. Still I got a tenth and a half out in the last two sectors.

And Carracer- not how I do it it doesn't.
He means really weavy tight roads. Like you'd see in the countryside..👍
I know what he means, but isn't he 15?
FordMKIVJ5I know what he means, but isn't he 15?
Yeah but there's 🤬 all police out here and if he met one if an adult with a license was there he'd probably just be told to get out and let the older guy drive
FordMKIVJ5WHAT!!! ILLEGAL!!!!
*Calls cops*
FordMKIVJ5Yes it definitely is because discussing illegal activity on GTP is against the AUP.
I know. Your allowed drive on private property whatever age you are in Ireland.. So I hope he has a few fields with some dirt lanes in them. 👍
HSV-0106 acres and roadside frontage.
Yes, I'm bragging about that.
Sumo is joining too.

We're all doomed.
Sorry for the double post but If anyone fancies having a practice I'm online now. 👍
Now running consistent mid 2'02s with a PB of 2'02.449. There's still a few tenths to come out though. 👍
2'01.951 now.
