In the race I qualified 8th but i started 9th, because all the start line confusion.

Sorry a lot Esprit, but I expected that the odd numbers would start from the left because that's how the starting grid goes at Tsukuba. Mostly I think the drivers in front were to blame because they got confused with their order.

I had a look at V8 Challenge Tsukuba race and the front grid slot, which is on the wrong side of the track for a polesitter isn't used. Have a look someone just for future reference. 👍

Yeah, the drivers that had odd numbers started the warm up lap on the left and were later told on the grid to start on the right. It was strange. Why doesn't everybody just go back to their original grid slot after the warm up lap? It's not rocket science, just remember what side you are on and who is directly in front of you.

I qualified 12 started last.. :grumpy: anyway had a great start and the rest is history..

So PICS!! This is going to be a long post so bear with me!

The grid:

A good battle into turn 1. Me in the lead :D
TsukubaCircuit_1.jpg

The incident between Akmuq and Seven- Racing incident in my opinion, Akmuq slides slightly wide and Seven takes the normal line at which point Akmuq dives back inside when in fact he could have continued on his current line and had the inside for the next corner and this happens. Also Akmuq why did you quit and then rant about it on chat because one you could quite easily have got back on track and start making positions back up and probably get some points and the chat box is really distracting for other racers.
TsukubaCircuit_2.jpg

A battle develops mid-field.
TsukubaCircuit_3.jpg

I take carracer up the inside for 3rd.
TsukubaCircuit_4.jpg

I overtake MadMax as he runs wide and begin hunting down Seven, putting in a personal best of 0"58.178
TsukubaCircuit_5.jpg

Eclat carves up the field but has it all to do to catch Seven.
TsukubaCircuit_6.jpg

TsukubaCircuit_7.jpg

Me all over Neljack as he exits the pits.
TsukubaCircuit_8.jpg

While Carbonox and Esprit have a fight of their own.
TsukubaCircuit_9.jpg

A 4 way battle develops mid-field.
TsukubaCircuit_10.jpg

Meanwhile Eclat has caught Seven.
TsukubaCircuit_11.jpg

AS my tyres quickly deteriorate due to my early pitstop the 4 battlers catch me quite rapidly.
TsukubaCircuit_12.jpg

And Eclat marginally takes the win.
TsukubaCircuit_13.jpg

And I hold off Sagarismic for 4th.
TsukubaCircuit_14.jpg

ENJOY!!! :)

Oh Eclat you had fastest lap with a 0"57.928 (Around that anyway), Carracer had a 0"57.987 (Around that) and I had 3rd fastest with a 0"58.178.

Had no motivation cause I don't like to be in 3rd or 4th knowing that I should have won.

FordMKIVJ5
And you'd have had some points to help your championship. :boggled:

He just needed to get his head back down as éclat did. Because he would of come back easily.

The grid:

I found that big open space and my Lotus being, errrm, boarded, kinda funny, anyway, this will help me illustrate the grid fiasco, that spot that carracergtp isn't actually used in GT5, pole is actually put behind where marunda is.;)

The grid was just mayhem, I was meant to start 8th but I start 9th, but I am not going to complain because I had a great fight with Carbon :)

I still think it was unnecessary and stupid that the polesitter would suddenly be placed there when the odd numbers were clearly on the left as always in the beginning of our formation. Spa is a different story, but on other tracks, it's common sense that the polesitter takes the outside. Eclat, don't mess up the grid again like this!

I counted 5 pics where I appeared (in one of them it could've been another guy though, but I believe it was still me) but whatever. :P

4 actually, didn't count the grid!

Yeah I thought it was odd as I was over on the right at start of warm up but on left for start.

So thats how you got such a jump off the line.... I thought you were in a grid space.

Nah, I actually moved back into the grid space behind, the pic is just taken before that.

I pride myself on being a good starter. :D

Except Monaco... but no-one will remember that.... will they?....will they?

I just viewed the incident of lap 4 from both akmuq and Seven's views. And I do have to say that while akmuq made a dangerous move back to the racing line, Seven had him on his sight all the time and could easily have slowed down to avoid PITting him out of the race.
