Makeshift Shuffle - No Tuning RacesOpen

I cannot seem to log into PSN. Sony page says there are some areas with difficulties... Grrr.

@Torzilla - make sure you are into clean, untuned, racing, and have page 1 of this thread handy during events.

Send a PSN Message to Amar (right above your post) if younare trying to hop in today. May need a club invite.

Heya @Torzilla , we certainly do have room for one more! There's a lot of cars to buy to get set up, but it's well worth it in my book.

I think the club is public, no need for invites. :)

Ugh, now I'm booted out of PSN and can't connect either. 🤬 No track day today, alas. :(

Try again tomorrow, those that can make it? *crosses fingers*

Hey @nickg07 , been a while.

Turns out I have some time this weekend after all. How does 1pm US PDT / 4pm US EDT tomorrow sound to people, would that work for anyone? (That's 9:00 pm BST / 10:00 pm CEST / 20:00 UTC) I could move it earlier a little if need be.

I've got a track list already set up for the next series, just have to pick some car lists to go with it. :)

Looks like I am stuck on Honey-Do List for the rest of the afternoon. :guilty: No Sunday afternoon drive time.

However, my wife is like ;) So I will be like  As long as I keep doing what needs to be done around the house.

Ah, too bad @Handlebar -- but domestic harmony trumps virtual racing, so .

@nickg07, I've had that problem before. If you a re using Wi-Fi, go to your network settings, and check your connection status. If it says NAT Type: Failed, run an Internet connection test. Chances are, some sort of mild DNS error has screwed things up, and you're PS3 may not be able to detect your NAT type. The Internet connection test will force the PS3 to disconnect from your network, and reconnect, receiving a new IP address, and initializing all of its networking stuff properly. NAT Type 2 is ideal, and the PS3 usually likes to have uPNP enabled. If you're on a wired connection.... well, I only just recently managed to get one of those, and haven't had any issues with it on my end yet. On PSN's end OTOH..... Well, no network of servers can every really be expected to achieve much more than 99.999 percent up time.

Alternatively, sometimes your network might be fine, but it will give you an error stating that you cannot join right now, and that you have to wait a while. Waiting normally won't solve this one. If you are going to Community and then selecting amar, or any other friend who is in a club room, and trying to join it through them, it won't always work. For best results, navigate to the club page from Community, and then select the club room in there.

@amar, I actually thought that room you had set up was going to be the new weekend series. Almost any other week, that time would have probably worked. It just so happens that work wants to schedule me for evenings all of a sudden.

Cheers i will review that and see. So much frustration. Thing is its jjust me and amar and I'm sure I've had this issue with him before in my other house on a separate Internet connection.

when the first race started i had only 4 of 5 racers showing :/
