Those big updates Kaz was talking about, I think, were in reference to what they plan for GT7.
GT6 is the Appetiser
GT7 is the Entre
Tourist Trophy is the dessert?

License plate editors would be so awesome.I believe it was windshield and license plate "editors".
I did post something about that a few posts above yours. Just didn't include the maintenance details as I linked it to the thread that had it..."At the following time we will perform maintenance on the servers for Gran Turismo 6:
Start: 19/08/2014 13:00 BST
Finish: 19/08/2014 15:00 BST
Start: 20/08/2014 13:00 BST
Finish: 20/08/2014 15:00 BST"
Took it from the site of Gran Turismo.
IT'S COMING!!!!
Exactly what I've been planning to call it! 450pp, pre-80's sports cars, 2 laps, set time change to start the race just after sunrise and run til just as your getting to dusk, which would reflect the all day length of those old races, maybe even having races run into night. But yeah, I'm super pumped, I hope Targa Zahara rooms becomes a big thing. Will be awesome for photomode shots too!Targa Zahara?
Don't forget the seasonal event Sierra TT which was found as well. Doesn't necisarily mean an update or 2 though, there are 2 Willow Springs courses in the coding since launch that they haven't unlocked, which is a bit weird but I'm assuming there is some plan...If you've been following the info on this topic as most of us have, you would know that added into the coding for the game in a recent update is the listing for 2 VGT vehicles (Subaru & Alfa Romeo) and a track Circuito de la Sierra. And as has been the case, whenever something is coded in, we get it an update or 2 afterwards.
In February, a (not so great quality) video was shown of a reported track said by Sony/PD representatives to be coming to Gran Turismo 6, by the name of Zahara. "Zahara de la Sierra is municipality in the province of Cádiz in the hills of Andalusia, southern Spain". Seeing as the name "Circuito de la Sierra" is clearly a derivative of "Zahara de la Sierra", and combining the other details we already have in place, we can conclude that the track will likely be within our grasps any time now. It has also confirmed by Jordan in this very thread to still be on its way.
Sierra SS. SS probably stands for Special Stage.Don't forget the seasonal event Sierra TT which was found as well. Edit: sorry for dp
Right, thanks, sorry I must'a had my head in Isle of Man mode lolSierra SS. SS probably stands for Special Stage.
What are you waiting for!! Start up up a Targa Zahara club or something. The possibilities are endless!Exactly what I've been planning to call it! 450pp, pre-80's sports cars, 2 laps, set time change to start the race just after sunrise and run til just as your getting to dusk, which would reflect the all day length of those old races, maybe even having races run into night. That's kinda what @Whistle Snap said, but anyway, I hope it will be like that so we can learn the track before getting thrown into the deep end with it.I'd like to throw out a theory for the Zahara SS special event. I bet it will be like the Nurburgring event in GT5. This track is long I bet they'll cut in into multiple pieces and you'll turn time on each section until you've done the full course, at which point they'll have you do a full lap. It'll kind of teach you the track, but yeah my guess is that it will be like the Nurburgring event in GT5.
Pffff, I'm jumping into the deep end and I'll learn the track later! LolThat's kinda what @Whistle Snap said, but anyway, I hope it will be like that so we can learn the track before getting thrown into the deep end with it.
Pffff, I'm jumping into the deep end and I'll learn the track later! Lol
Maintenance still lasts 90 minutes, have some patience. No update as a result of the maintenance guys... unless they release it in the final hour of the update.
@fortbo you still alive? just reading all those threads full of your dying comments about Zahara and I really feel sorry for you I'm sure it's gonna come today or tomorrow.
I believe both 1.10 and 1.11 were released without (announced) maintenance.By the way , there is no maintenance for 1.11?
I remember we were all surprised by this update....

Possible testing how the servers would handle a online race on such a large track? Or just a lot of maintainence?I can't imagine that they would shut down the servers for 2 days in a row without something large on the horizon.
