if they have such a good relationship...they wouldn't make unpractical ts050 car in game...
car is without upgrades..plus hybrid doesn't work right...
Because it wouldn't make sense to be able to modify a lmp1? Also, they have never been good at hybrids to my knowledge. A good relationship can't fix that.
icons should be in game: newer ts050 (2018), mk3 eagle( dominating car) , ts010 ( high df"closed back wheels" and low configs ) , ts040 ( which was a beast in my eyes ), etc...
Cool that you want those, doesn't negate my argument though.

And Im here still hoping for 488 gte not GTOne :D
Agreed.

After all this time, and single player//road car attention, anything other than viable online racing cars is going to be a disappointment. The gt one is largely irrelevant to online racing subsequently would just be in the way of something more relevant.

If the race cars were up to date I wouldn’t care. But, they aren’t

Why would you want an outdated GTE over a legendary Gran Turismo car?? The 296, sure I get that.. but the 488? A rehashed 458 that's still out of date? Over the TS020???
I'd take the less outdated GTE over the very outdated GT1/LMGTP.
Don't care about nostalgia, I would get more use of the Ferrari.

I guess the next one will be a big update, Super GT 2022 (GT500) will come with Twin Ring Motegi with the possibility of adding real points championships in GT mode and custom races! Then I wake up from dreamland and the silhouettes will be two **** boxes and the Genesis VGT (Gr.1)...

So Kaz will say: "The community wants a race car? Here's a VGT race car!"

Genesis vgt gr1 incoming 😂

snc
Can I ask why ? Its already old as there is 296 gtb (both road and gt3 version)
it is older but you cant expect 296 GT3 to be in GT7 this soon , road car on the other hand maybe???

honestly i would prefer 488 GT3/GTE since its a new Gr.3 car instead of GT one but i would be happy either way :D

The one thing that makes me not expect any brand new LMH/GT3/GT4s any time soon is that Forza's car list has the exact same thing going on as GT's does in this area, where they get thrown one modern scrap (the Cadillac V.Series, similar to how GT7 has the GR010) and then the LMP/GT3/GT4 roster there is similarly out of date.

So it makes me wonder if there's an element of the licensors of those series wanting to stick with mainly putting those series' cars on iRacing/ACC/LMU, where they are the main focus.

The thing is pd’s gr3 line up is so outdated we wouldn’t even need the latest models to make a difference.

Just having these cars would freshen things up massively

Bmw m4 2021
Mclaren 720 2019
Aston martin vantage 2018
Ferrari 488 2016

Predictions go here.

Wishlists go here:

What’s the fascination surrounding the Toyota GT-One? When I picture this car in my head, I see it limping around on the final laps. At least that’s what I remember seeing it on TV. Why does everyone want it so bad?

488 is actually prediction since one was spotted during sound recording :D
Wrong on three counts.

Firstly you said you were "hoping for" it, which is not a prediction (guess based on evidence) but a desire:

And Im here still hoping for 488 gte not GTOne :D
Secondly, you said 488 GTE. The car in the sound recording presentation is a 488 Challenge Evo, and not a GTE; there are significant differences, even if both look like 488 race cars to the untrained eye.

And finally, its presence in the sound recording is - as we said in our article over a month ago - not necessarily indicative of the car itself coming, because it could just be a sound reference for the Ferrari F8 Tributo which uses the same engine/exhaust setup.

As I say, predictions in this thread. Wishlists in the wishlist thread.

Unlike the Mazda 787B which was a mediocre car that won Le Mans due to a quirk in the regulations - the Toyota GT-ONE was the ultimate car of it's generation. A car that should have won Le Mans in '98, '99, and if it had competed, probably '00 against the dominant Audi R8. It was also the car that pushed the ACO to change regulations from road homologated GT1 to prototype LMGTP.

It was unfortunate the GT-ONE competed in the period before the relaunched WEC. So we saw little of the car outside of Le Mans and the Fuji 1000KM.

Sooo, about that...

Can you see the problem?
From my experience meeting Mr. GT Audio in real life a couple years ago, the car they record can be vastly different to the car that they’re prepping for the game (outside extremely rare one-off vehicles, sound crew is separate from scanning/modeling crew). Essentially if it’s the same or similar engine block, anything tangential could be being recorded - from a modified road car to a completely different (but vaguely adjacent) race car.
