Mercedes-Benz AMG VGT Racing Series Super Lap

Got down to a 2:01.0xx (no aids) on about my 4th clean lap. Made a couple of mistakes so ideally looking to be at around 2:00.4/5, but with the inclusion of SRF in the GT6 TTs I really don't have the motivation to put any real effort in.

Question: how many of you guys watch the fastest lap replays to revise your lines? I do always after hitting my first "wall," and it helps me improve a ton! I'd advise this to those who are looking to really improve their times.

After a short GT hiatus I gave this seasonal a crack. Plenty of fun with all aids off. The way this car handles without ABS on this circuit is heavenly; it really adds another dimension to the game and the AMG Racing VGT's character almost resembles a V8 Supercar (good on ya P.D.). Managed a 2.01'668 but plenty of time to find especially after a hairy moment on top of the hill!

I'm not sure about this one. I have gold on pretty much every trial, but I'm about 8 seconds away from this one no matter how hard I try. It's strange too because the car drives and handles great.

Does Ti-Tech85 have a YouTube channel? Would love to see his lap. No SRF, no TCS, no ABS and still in the top 400. It would probably take me a month to get close to 1.58 with the same settings

Well i finally put a lap together and cleared with a 2:05.xxx only took 100 tries lol.
was a blast really improved my driving to run this track alot.

Managed to squeak out Gold last night. Car is ridiculously squirrely, even with the aid tinkering. Once you navigate the series of turns make sure you don't go into 7th on the long stretch. This is one of the most frustrating time trials I've done in a while.

Managed to drive a 2.00.5xx, which makes me wonder, what alien drivers go 5 seconds faster!
Respect for the ones that managed, I might be able to take off 1 or 2 seconds, but then I have to quit my job first...

I would like to have a bit of more spare time to actually play, the 2-4 hours per week is just not enough to satisfy my racing needs.
Hopefully after the Olympics I can find more time to play. Maybe even join the WRS and kick your ass

Hey Jay, how you been? Yea, speaking of the ol' boy, I haven't seen much of him lately. You may miss the banter, but I'm not sure the rest of the community has. Knowing him though, he's probably just lurking around waiting for his opportunity to pounce with another one of his, "Cargo said/did this" posts. Seriously though, along with my own self driven motivation, its people like him that keeps me on my toes and drives me to constantly improve. So yea, in a weird sort of way, I kinda miss the ol' boy myself, barring he doesn't become too irritating. Anyways, if I know him well enough, he'll be back around. It surely annoyed me a lot, but I managed to gold it, after many, many failed attempts and on my first clean lap.

Same here! It took me alot to get around 2:06 and gold! Also i find the GT Vision car to understeer abit. Maybe coz it has hard tyres. So less grip. No idea! Also the first left turn after the pit was ughhhh..I was always leaving the track!
