Beat me to it, but I like how all of sudden GT is saved with the Midfield, B-spec, and some other things coming back kinda made me lol when I read that on front page comments.

Yeah.

It's a very nice track to get, but not having enough tracks really wasn't one of the problems with GT.

If B Spec comes with updated AI (which is a possibility), then it may solve one of the longstanding problems. And depending on how interesting they've made the gameplay, it may be a nice additional mode. But I'm not holding my breath, because the people who made it are the people that thought B Spec in GT4 and GT5 was engaging gameplay. :D

I wasn't arguing......not yet anyway ;) But yes you're absolutely right, getting to drive it at night will be great fun.

The only problem with gifts of nostalgia is you're only left wanting more.....

Will continue to dream :P

You nailed it.

Amalfi, Citta di Aria, El Captain... the cruisers dream on GT6. Will continue to dream².

I think a good feature would be AI grid fillers in online races. They would be useful for simulated multiclass endurance racing and in newly opened rooms that are empty.
Not going to lie, the GT-ONE in that screenshot does look crisper than it does currently.

They could have retouched the picture in editing...

Man MidField brings back memories. Gran Turismo 4 was the first video game I played in my life, and MidField was always my favorite track! The only problem is that I am without a PS3 :(

Hopefully it will stay in GT7 so that I can finally get a taste of nostalgia! Until then I guess I'm gonna have to break out the old PS2 and try my hand at GT4 again!

:gtpflag:👍

That's not really a high resolution image, and there's significant compression artifacts. That probably accounts for most of the effect. Images from GT3 and GT4 look startlingly realistic if you make them small enough.

I do not think that's a possibility to be honest. We haven't seen any Photoshop from the PitStop blog so far.
From the experience that I had in the modelling world. Every official screenshot that the developers send out. Is heavily enhanced. On the escudo image to me the shadow appears to not be at the correct angle. Which further supports enhancements. IMO

Also, I find it funny that we have confirmation that a car has been improved and the thread has turned into speculation about other cars. XD

That's how GT photomode works.

No, adding customization options for a car is just adding customization options to it.

Improving means the 3D model is fixed or textures are upgraded.

Actually, I noticed one minor difference that may indicate that PD messed with the GTONE, but keep in mind. This is to not say that the GTONE is going to be a premium car. It's just something I noticed in that screenshot. A couple of the decals look different in comparison to how they look on the GTONE in GT6 right now. The one on the "Exxon" decal that's on the spoiler for instance looks like it says something while the one in-game is a white blank. The decals by the wheel arches look a tad bit different aswell. Almost as if some new ones were put on the car.

On the other hand, it could just be the lighting & distance making the decals look like that, but I guess we'll see.

EDIT: It is just the distance and lighting, nevermind.

Depends on your definition of improvement. Modifying a model to make it customizable is a lot of work.

Adding something that is optional is not an improvement. If car A is painted and car B isn't, does that mean car B is worse than car A because it's not "improved"?
