RenesisEvoI suspect its in here already, but 25 pages is a lot to get through, so:
Can anyone provide settings that can be used for the SLR (e.g tyres, aids - I imagine the rest is default in the mission?) so that I can buy it from the dealer (in black of course!) and practise, practise, practise??
Mucho thanks!
congrats!!!Raptor13xWOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!! I beat it! I beat it! I BEAT IT!!!! YAAAAYYYY!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!! oh yeah!!! I'm soooo glad to have this bloody mission over!!! I'm never driving the stupid SLR again!!
Passed the last car around the final corner and emerged victorious with 1.1xx seconds to spare! VICTORY!!!
Guess what else that means! 100% completion! Yeah baby! Woohooo! lol
M2RI've pretty much scanned these posts and they all seem to agree that the NTSC countdown is 123, 122, ... (and I have actually seen that on the videos).
However I'm getting a 126, 125, ... countdown. Anybody else getting this? Are there differences in NTSC versions too? Did I miss something obvious?
Mike
JTSnooksBest I've done is 4 seconds with 1 penalty (on the second to last turn...dang that SLR with its crappy brakes!)

Patates friteslearn the track.. Slow in, fast out, bla bla bla.
Master_YodaYou just gave your self all the advice you need...
don't say bla bla bla, you need to work at it, it doesn't get handed to you.
curbita lot of people on here seem to know names for certain portions of the track like the karussel and the bergwerk and i was wondering how they know this? i would like to know what part of the track that the names apply to. is it that this track is in germany and people that live there would know?
Ermac26I've asked the same question...If you watch a replay of yourself driving the track, you'll notice Green road signs on the right hand side of the track in certain locations. Those signs mention the parts of the track people are talking about.
Take pics if you need some help with each section.
Hope this helps
gregcIf it's any use to anyone I made a labelled map of the Nordschliefe from a Google Earth image - it's quite big, but might be handy for those who aren't familiar with the corner names.
I got the corner names from http://www.nurburgring.org.uk - great enthusiast site for the 'ring, and some good information on driving it too
