@Oldbass47 when I was watching my replay of the race, and you were coming out of your pit stop and behind me, I noticed you flashed your headlights. What did that mean?

Old, I'm reposting because I think you may have missed this question I had for you

It's called Ride 3, Slthree, little harder on 2 wheels:D

It looks beautiful and for a moment I was wondering if I wanted to get a motorcycle racing game.

But, if it's harder than what I'm doing now, I'm definitely not a candidate for that game oh. I have enough trouble with four wheels

Uploaded mine and Beach's last lap. Such a shame we got stuck together on that straight, could have been tense through the bus stop and onto the last straight otherwise!

Even with the incident, it was a great finish.

How are you able to upload just one lap of the replay? Do you stream during the race or did you take it from the replay?

Well, I was in error on our PS group thread. It was Harsk, not Don who was closing in fast and forced me to make a mistake for the overtake.

Don, I should have known better because you were so far out in front of me.

Harsk, well done on reeling me in and forcing my mistake. You deserved to pass me anyway after what happened at the start

@Sick Cylinder I saw the replay of the overtake and I noticed exactly what you did. You could have closed me down by coming low but you did not. You went high to give me the space and that was a very classy move.

Thank you

Took it from the replay and edited it in ShareFactory.
I didn't know you could do anything with the replay itself because I thought you could only watch the replay "in game".

Some of you guys are just so tech savvy. Was it difficult to take it from the replay in game to this sharefactory that you speak of?

Not at all. Queue up the replay/part of the replay you want to record and play the section you want recorded. Press the share button on the controller and you'll see an option to save a video clip if you press square. As standard the clips are 15 minutes long, buy you can change that to up to an hour if I remember. Then, in the capture gallery, load up the saved clip (in the PC2 folder) and choose to edit in ShareFactory (you may have to press options to see this). Share Factory is pretty basic as far as video editing goes but it's useful enough and you can do pretty sophisticated stuff with it as well. The pedal cam in the Ginetta video I showed you was put into the video on ShareFactory and it even cut the background wooden desk out because I don't have a green screen.

The bikes are really well modelled, Slthree, but is frustrating when, you crash. Next one going to get is, MotoGp19, when comes down in price.:)

RJ, thank you for the thought out reply. It takes time to write something that detailed and I really appreciate it

I'd done 5 thirty minute races (to work out weather settings for Sick) so I'd got a lot of practice in and was feeling quite confident. Then I go and miss the start by a few seconds!

Ah well they are nice neighbours. Just like to talk!

Ugh! I know that feeling all too well, Paul. That was me the week before. We were on a track I felt really good about and I had qualified well, although not as well as you did today.

Then, as I'm washing my hands, I hear the countdown buzzer. I was gutted.

Hey @slthree!

Remember what I said about overtaking at the start?

I guess if you see anyone stalling at the start you're good to overtake. It's a mistake no one should be punished for (except may be the driver that stalled the car, i.e. me :D)

Well, do not EVER do this. You will be disqualified. Just like I was yesterday. Apparently, you must maintain your grid position during the rolling start no matter what happens.

You've got to be kidding! Is that what happened because you passed us?

You're going to have to get a handle on that. Lol

Is that a new setting that Sick has implemented or was it always like that?

Yes, that's what happened. Those are the rules, though. I don't think they have been changed. I'm just inexperienced and felt like experimenting :D

There's no rule change at all it's just the in game rules for a rolling start are different to a standing one. And it's a bit draconian at implementing them.

So on a rolling start maintain position until the lights go out. Standing start, once the lights go out, you can overtake any stalled/non responsive cars.

It's not like you can say 'Sorry I've got a race about to start' and then rush back in your house – 'normal' people just don't get it

These are fantastic, as always, John

Those Cobell Aston Martin cars are BEAUTIFUL. I love that blue

How do you get the stills from the replay to the site? Do you use the thing that RJ uses, that sharefactory?

^ How to turn a Aston Martin into a compact hatchback.
Good job the damage was visual only or there'd be a bit of muttering.

I see you've got an action shot of my NSX sitting on pitlane John.

Thanks Slthree, Paul, copy them from PS4 to mem stick, then upload on computer. Don't anything to save replays, though.
