If you have NBA TV, they're showing off some of the best games of the 2012-2013 season. Right now (as of this post) is the game on Christmas between Oklahoma City at Miami. They are then are going to show the Miami Heat at the Los Angeles Lakers from January 17, 2013. So go check out some of the better games from this past season.

So Derrick Rose thinks he's the best player.

I like his attitude, but let's see if he can conjure his MVP form again.

He'll have to start averaging a triple double to overtake Lebron......

I dont see chi having that good a season as they did in roses mvp year .

If Durant improves again this year he could get his first mvp

Jimmy Butler developed nicely for Chicago last year. That is an asset that the Bulls did not have Rose's MVP year.

A few key pieces are gone as well , I think Korver is who the Bulls have missed the most

Its not the same team as his MVP year , defensively they should be just as good if not better . Offensively we will have to wait and see .

Deng was also pretty banged up lets hope him and Noah are fit close to 100 pct for the season .

Indiana is who i like in the East

Especially now that they've acquired Luis Scola from Phoenix for Gerald Green and a 1st round pick.Adds depth to the bench, and makes my tanking Suns more exciting to watch.

They also got copeland from the knicks , i thought he was a good role player who could of got some more minutes .

The Bulls were in first place every year with Thibs and Rose. With bad SGs.
We have Butler now, a SG that has proven he can shut down Lebron when he is rested and not playing every minute of every playoff game.

I dont see how you guys are doubting us.
We have the most complete starting 5 in the East by far.

Derrick Rose
Jimmy Butler
Luol Deng
Carlos Boozer
Joakim Noah

1 year only my friend

Regardless, it will be an interesting year for the Bulls. Exciting, too. Best of luck to them. 👍

Edit: I've always liked Scola, but he's like David West-Lite. They must've gotten him on the cheap?

I had no idea that the Pacers traded for Luis Scola. That could be a very good addition.

EDIT: Saw this trade just went through earlier today.

As a Rockets fan, Scola is solid. He was great when he was with Houston. I usually like him for hitting the long-range two-pointer or hitting layups and finger rolls. Indy just got a bit more dangerous with this pickup.

Apparently the Nets also signed Alan Anderson now, he was a solid player off the bench for Toronto last season, although sometimes thought he was better than he is. Never the less, it's a nice depth addition for the rediculous Nets.

They're already stacked as is, roster and salary. Where is all this extra money coming from? Surely they would've hit the hard salary cap by now.

Owner doesnt care they just want to win , they have been over the salary cap since getting joe johnson I think

The owner is a Russian $13 billionaire (proven to have some strong connections). He's already projected to be taxed $84 million, but that's chump change to him.

Didn't AK47 *ahem* the Russian take much less money than expected to sign with them? It would be so easy for those two to arrange something, you know?

Yeh that is probably the case , its being investigated but I doubt anything will happen .

Nets should be fun to watch lets hope .

It doesn't surprise me that people are suspicious, but I'd also be surprised if anybody get their hand slapped over it.

Nets got all these has-been star players & Jason Kidd as the Coach! It may be one of those 'it's so crazy it just may work' scenarios, but when they say that, they usually don't work out.

I think the owner is trying to make this statement come true.
"How fast can we build a championship team? If everything goes as planned, I expect us to be in the playoffs next season and [win a] championship in one year minimum, and maximum in five years," said Prokhorov, approved May 11 as majority owner of the Nets.

I've heard he wanted a coaching position with the Bulls, but if he signs with Houston then it's only a matter of who wants to take Asiks crazy contract

While trying to find info on his contract, I discovered that he was a Blazers second round pick in 2008.

Anywho, it says the contract was for $25.1 million over three years. So far so good. Article also said that the contract was back loaded with something like $14~15 million in its final year of the contract('14~'15 season).

That will make him hard to move, and depending on what he makes the second year(which I couldn't find any info on), maybe impossible to move until the final stretch of the contract, to a team looking to dump salary via expiring contract, or hit the 2015 free agency.

Interesting situation, but if the Rockets are looking to play Camby a lot(like backing up Drama, full-time), maybe they already have a taker for Asik. Again, very interesting, or maybe they just want to pay three centers.
