I forgot Blazers played tonight(just checked the score). Blazers have been playing little defense lately(more than before). I knew that the true test would be tonight, against Phoenix. They've struggled(more like defenseless-nekkid) against quick guard plays, but I thought after tonight, we'll see if the Blazers is player, or pretender.

109-93 Phoenix.

I'm not at all surprised. Go Blazers.

Bulls got a trap game tonight at Washington. We have yet to beat them this season, and hopefully tonight we come away with a victory.

I checked the schedule for your Bulls, sumbrownkid. You guys are on the back end of a back-to-back right now at the Wizards. The Bulls shouldn't have any real problem the rest of the way. Only real challenges I see the rest of the way are at Minnesota and at New York. The Bulls should be fine the rest of the way.

As for my Rockets, this upcoming week will have us playing five games in seven days, including two back-to-backs. Yikes! We host Denver tomorrow night. After that, it's a three-game road trip: at the Lakers on Tuesday, at the Nuggets on Wednesday, and at Minnesota on Friday. Then, the second back-to-back ends next Saturday hosting New Orleans. Our final regular season home game is on April 14 when we host San Antonio. The Rockets' final game of the regular season is at New Orleans on April 16.

The season isn't over yet. Keep on playing hard if your team still is on the outside looking in!

@JohnBM01

I hope Love's back spasms keep him out for Chicago's game but I doubt it. As for New York, I can see that as another trap game.

Speaking of trap games, The Wizards certainly didn't have any good spells tonight to stop Augustin from raining 3s and the Bulls from that stifling defense. Still, the 3rd quarter the Bulls need to come out harder.

No such thing as Heat fans, only bandwagoners.

:grumpy: No such this as a Heat fan that can afford to sit in seats in camera frame.

By the way, the Heat have been good for 10 years now. It's about time to stop with the bandwagoner crap. Are Patriots fans bandwagoners? Just because they're perennial contenders?

Patriots have our respect because of Bill Belichick and his constant misinterpretation of the rules.

I lived in South Florida from 2006 til 2009 and Heat fans were few and far between. As soon as they got James they were everywhere in Florida. When I was in Illinois, even when the Bulls were terribad, we always filled the UC. In the finals last year Heat "fans" started leaving the game even though the Heat were only down a few and with some time left to make things happen. That's weak. Regular season is one thing, but to do it during the finals? Come on man...

I'm sorry, but the Heat have bandwagoners. You yourself are a true fan, but you are a diamond in the rough sir.👍

And now for my bias to be complete: Miami is a terrible sports town. The only reason Heat sell out tickets is because nothing is going down at the beach. You may now flame me.:D

That's because they just dumped all their players! The metro area has always been strong Heat land since Alonso Mourning came down. When they built the new arena, there was always a base of support. When they got Wade in 03 and people realized that he was awesome, the heat were the hottest ticket in town.

The bandwagon effect you saw was from a good team attracting more and more forlorn Dolphins and Fish fans that were tired of watching awful season after season.

Florida is a pretty bad sports town, but still, after ten years you can't really call it a bandwagon.

All right it's not a bandwagon...It's a bandmarathon.

Forbes would disagree: http://www.forbes.com/sites/marketshare/2013/04/16/19766/

Lol Forbes?

They haven't heard of the Chicago Cubs apparently and their fanbase. More than 100 years without anything, still have drunken fans in the stands.

To be fair, I'd be drunk too if I were at a Cubs game. And I'm Muslim.

Knicks don't want to be in the playoffs . Lose to Heat, fall 3 games behind the Hawks for 8th place. If they lose 1 more game the Hawks clinch a playoff spot.

Regulation solved nothing here in Houston against Denver. After leading by as many as 17 at the Half, Denver had a beast run in the 2nd Half. A clutch three by James Harden put the Rockets into a favorable game-tying situation. And when Overtime hit, we managed to squeeze off a number of 3-pointers to eventually win the game. Denver had a chance to try to make things interesting late in Overtime, but the coach told them not to foul. So... we took the win. That win was a 130-125 Overtime victory. I just hope the Rockets don't expend too much energy considering two back-to-backs are coming up. Still, Rockets took down the Nuggets tonight, even if 48 minutes wasn't enough to do so, and even if the Nuggets basically conceded defeat.

Congratulations to all other winners from today and tonight's games.

So today JR Smith took an NBA record 22 3 pointers. :yuck: He made 10 of them, which is a Knicks record, so it wasn't that bad.

So I watched a game, Miami Heat vs T'wolves, they had double ot until Kevin Love hit a three and with 1min to go, I laughed when Chalmers missed both free throws including Lebron except hitting one free throw plus my father was shocked on the loss and he blamed Chalmers because of missing FTs.

Are there any weakpoints for the Heat?

Chicago will lose to Miami.

But it will be the Battle of Thermopylae for Miami. Basically I hope Chicago puts the hurt to Miami so bad that they succumb to their wounds in the Finals.

Depends who the other side is. I cannot see Toronto or Indiana beating Miami. In fact, I think the bigger test will come from the winner of Brooklyn vs. Chicago.

And there goes Toronto's season, probably. Jonas Valanciunas has been charged with DUI, to appear in court on April 22nd. If convicted, he will likely face a suspension from games during the play-offs.

Atlanta Hawks can put the Knicks up against the wall with a win tonight.......

Well that was fun now what? Atlanta loses to Detroit and Atlanta was at home .

EDIT: Stunner. Nets edge out Heat 88-87 and sweep the season series. Irrelevant in the long run but cool in the short run.

Dirk doing work to avoid last year's early vacation from the Playoffs. The Wunderkid gave us a 4-0 record on the road & is now the 10th All Time in Scoring. Dirk wants to play for another 2 years, I wonder if he can close in on 5th.

Rockets throttled the Lakers at Staples Center. We won 145-130. Lakers hit an inconsequential three late to make the score a little closer at the end. But in the end, it was ownage by the Rockets. They can't celebrate too long because later tonight (considering it is Wednesday as of the time of this post), it will be the Rockets at the Nuggets. I don't like our chances of winning that game considering the turnaround time between this game at Los Angeles and going up to Denver- elevation and all- to try to take on a rather well-rested Denver squad.

The news wasn't all bad for the Lakers. In fact, Steve Nash picked up a few assists to go to 3rd all-time in NBA history for assists. My only regret following this game was that I completely forgot this was televised. It wasn't until the Rockets' radio team talked about this game being nationally-televised early in the 2nd Half of this game.

That's all. Hope your team won. Congratulations if they did and if they played.
