"Delphic Reason
Until someone comes out and says he did, you're the one doing the speculating.
Until someone sheds more light on it we're all speculating. Saying they probably haven't used a wheel is speculation and saying the probably have is also speculation.
Berca, care to comment?
My thoughts exactley
Skip Berca, go to the Speedhunters site and ask the man, that's JR, himself
SpeedHunters.com: VIDEO ROLL>> SMASHTOWN USA AND NFS SHIFT!
"When I talk about feel and being realistic I mean that its not arcady. you don't automatically get put into drift by pushing a series of buttons. You need to toss the car or use the ebrake properly, you have to give proper amount of inputs to get the right results with regards to initiation and adjustments. I have always used wheels and in my opinion both grid and Forza 2 feel like garbage on the wheel and the controller. Shift is the most realistic game out of the box I have ever played. It is quite challenging and fun, I'm curious to hear your feedback when you get a chance to try it! "
I agree pro street was pretty garbage as far as drifting was concerned Shift is night and day in comparison as it uses a completely different physics model, yes you can modify the cars in all aspects.
I use GT3 as a bench mark for any game I play as I think its way better then any of the more recent games out when the cars are tuned properly. I havent played gt5 much so I cant answer that question sorry.
I have not been a huge fan of the past NFS games. Shift uses an extremely realistic physics model built off of real geometry from manufacturers. it is leaps and bounds from the other games and the other nfs titles everyone is used to.The racing is incredible too.
I have had some friends that LOVE Forza and GT play the most recent version of shift i have been testing. After 10-15 minutes of cussing and getting used to it they fall in love.
