Anyways, the HSV costs 980,000, the BR-Z 30,000, and the Nissan 500,000 in game.

it's literally the EXACT same sample from the GT500 NSXs, so yeah just drive any of those to find out what it sounds like at full throttle

Yes. If PD completely changed how they record sounds while simultaneously somehow not doing so in that video, then I'm sure the car will sound much like it does in real life.

I'm considerably less enthused than I was several days ago.

I can't say I'm disappointed either because I expected as much, but I at least reserved the possibility of it sounding like the CT230R since that's as closely ranged to the HSV's V8 there is in the game. But now? I don't even think I want the damn thing anymore.

I bought everything they sent to the market. From the paints to every car and tracks available to purchase. I was a bit exited when i saw the HSV release and i instantly remembered that awesome exhaust sound... now im not sure ill buy that crap... 👎.

Obviously ya'll should've told yourselves it'll sound like crap rather than hyping yourselves up. Put your hopes at the lowest possible setting, then everything is better. Meanwhile i'm going to throw my money at this DLC and force myself enjoy it.

How is expecting that car to sound right expecting too much? They made the br-z sound different? So why couldn't the HSV sound correct. That's what Simon meant earlier about making excuses and defending PD.

seriously it's not over-hyping it to expect some sense of realism when it comes to the sound of the car, especially given it has the best note in Super GT, the bar is lowered once again...

Of course it wasn't gonna sound like the real car, none of the other cars sound real, the exhaust sound of every car in the game is too digitalized and clean sounding, or just completely wrong when changed to aftermarket. Need for Speed Games have a much more realistic exhaust sound than gt5 and they aren't even simulators, PD needs to get their $**t together for GT6, I want the cars to sound real, a camaro with racing exhaust should never sound like a skyline
