I'm getting the GT5 Academy Edition on the 28th. I'm guessing this DLC will already be on the disc.

Also, I can't wait to see the hidden changes in the update. They are usually more interesting than the listed ones.

Why is the BRZ called BRZ S? Is the S version unique for the Japanese domestic market or something?

Probably the JDM version of the "Limited" model the USA is getting.

Torsen LSD is only equipped on type S, and type R as an option.
Brakes are also better on type S - 16inch front ventilated and 15in rear ventilated. Weight starts at 1190kg for RA model and BRZ-S automatic being the heaviest at 1250kg.

Definatly buying the BRZ and the HSV-010 since I only have 2.50 in my wallet, if I acquire more money then I'll buy the GT-R

I would have much prefered 3 JGTC cars rather than what's provided, how great would that have been!? Regardless, I'll definitely pick up the Honda, that's one sexy car and I sure hope PD have got the sound right, that car sounds amazing.

Hopefully the clutch works properly now rather than just adjusting where it turns "on and off", even though I haven't been able to use my G27 for a year and a half, I just know it would be a much welcomed patch for the guys that do use wheels. A clutch button for the controller would be cool as well, I wonder if they'll ever do that?

I'm curious to know what the ride height alterations are going to do now though, but I get the feeling it could screw up thousands of tunes currently out there . Maybe it's going to fix the top speed bug where having the rear at minimum and the front at maximum is always the fastest solution.

The no collision feature will also be highly welcomed in Route X drafting rooms; no more having to use the ghost pit glitch. It will also be interesting to use in such a way that a whole bunch of people can time trial all at the same time, but it'll remove any excitement about trying to overtake somebody in a race if it's used, meaning the fastest person is always going to win.

I like that PD leave these update announcments until the last minute, makes the waiting far less painful. 👍

I'll be getting all three, but seriously, if it's going to resort to this, please no more DLCs. It seems their effort is more of trying to pick which cars to save for GT6, rather than modeling them. Two of the DLC cars nearly look identical. It shouldn't take a "paid DLC effort" for them. Face it, what game would do this to us?

That BRZ better handle differently. If it handles the exact same, it's almost a bit of robbery for those that want to support PD every cent of the way, in terms of DLC. Different badging is not worth a separate DLC, but because I want the GT franchise to be awesome for the future, I'll be getting it anyway.

Again PD, this is really pushing it. If you want me to support your DLCs, it better not come to this again.

To be fair I think the no collision feature is a pretty nice option...but it'll have to combined with a few variables first before properly clean racing can be achieved.

Also, to those thinking the HSV-010 will sound as it will IRL, I wouldn't hold out hope, honestly. You should know the score with PD by now, the chances of them getting a sound like the HSV right is about nil. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it...surely, it'll still just be a superb car to drive.

I'm no too excited about this as the list isn't all that impressive, I'm more interested in the patch. I'll still buy all of them, $3, that's like 10 minutes of work , I call that a deal.

I remember when people first saw the GT-R everyone wanted it (the DLC), now, what happened? The hype faded?

Also, I'm still grateful that PD's still supporting this aging game 👍.

It's always interesting to see subtle differences on cars that are pretty much identical...Well as far as we know about that GT-R that is.

It's the newest GT-R plus the Race Pack. It will be interesting to compare them.

I'll buy all three cars, although it's the 010 that I really want. It's a shame we don't get all the rest of the 010's though.

Sorry to be the party pooper here - as excited as I am to see the new Honda making an appearance I am still bitterly disappointed at PD's lack of being able to stick to a schedule they promised. They should be politicians

I hope so! That's the only thing that can justify us having to pay for it, when the previous two were free. I'm pretty sure the modeling is not what we're having to pay for, unless the re-badging counts.

Don't forget the interior modeling, it's slightly different plus different side grills and front bumper so we're paying for everything.

Each update and DLC you announce just makes me feel worse for GT6... Will GT6 just be another poor update with 1-2 new tracks, 30 new cars and 300 clones?

Thank god F1 2012 released... I really like GT5 because of its community. Its the only PS3 game which has such a big and healthy community, the game is over 2 years old and still so many people play it, but PD&GT5 is slowly turning into the Bioware/EA&Star Wars Old Republic of racing games...

PD continue to baffle. Why was the last Schulze car and BRZ clones free but these paid? And why after acknowledging the problem with duplicate cars and GTR/Japan bias does he still just give us them anyway?

They are hopefully saving something so they finally can keep their old DLC every second month promise but who knows how long we have to wait for the next.
