I literally laughed when I watched that excuse of a jump. Jacoby Jones couldn't believe his good luck, you could see the disbelief on his face after he strolled across the goal line.
Yeah, White wasn't the only one, too. I saw two Falcons get in his face, and another one come up from behind and bump him.
And also, the call for holding Gonzales was complete bull: he had his arm around our guy's head, and even pulled him down by grabbing inside his helmet (which is just as bad as a face mask).
In 2010, the Patriots smacked the Jets 45-3 on Monday Night Football late in the season.
Both team later met in the Divisional Round that year and the Jets ended up winning 28-21 on the road when no one gave the Jets a shot to win that game.
The Texans got smacked 42-14 on Monday Night Football by the Patriots and I hoped the Texans could repeat what the Jets did.
Ah well, rematch of the AFC Championship. Can Flacco prevent a Manning, Brady, or Roethlisberger qb representing the Super Bowl for the 10th straight year?
41-28, New England. Only good thing out of this game for my team is J.J. Watt sacking Tom Brady. The Texans simply lost to a better team. There's a difference between losing to a better team and simply playing off to a team you know you can beat. The former is what happened here. I now officially don't care who wins since my team get 86'ed from the playoffs. On the bright side, the Texans knew what they got themselves into and didn't play like a Junior Varsity team at a powerhouse.
The Texans can only improve. I followed this team since the first game back in September 2002 against the Dallas Cowboys. I basically think the Texans have fallen apart at a bad time and in a bad way. I hope we'll get it together in preparation for next season.
And with that... and then, there were four. Only two will play in New Orleans to win the Lombardi Trophy. Which of the four survivors will play in the Super Bowl? We find out next weekend!
