Then that's a welcome change of things. Too often did we have to watch call a timeout in frustration because the OC can't call a play in time.

Guys, mark it down.

I am GUARANTEEING the Steelers will win the AFCN next year. Even if the Rats win the SB I will still go with this. Gut feeling.

Gus Bradley to lead our Jags.

So glad we didn't take an impulse on Lovie Smith.

Gus Bradley has proven his worth in my eyes defensively this year and rightly so has his chance to lead a franchise.

Very happy to see the departure of Gene Smith. Drafting punters in the 3rd Round of the Draft is the reason why we are the laughing stock of the league. Not to mention poor selections offensively and our no. 11.

I honestly think a defensively minded coach might be the key for our franchise. We really do not have any depth in our defense and we hinge on Daryl Smith's health defensively.

A QB is of course our number one priority offensively but I'm glad we're not going to be taking Tebow as Mularkey may have wished.

Perhaps your team could have acted on that impulse on get Lovie Smith? He might've brought along Rod Marinelli too, and the Bears records this season speaks volumes for him.

But Lovie is also getting a fat severance pay check and said that he's content on taking a vacation.

I don't feel Lovie Smith would have fitted into where our system is going.

Our defense is paper thin on talent and does not have near the potential as the Bears' Defense has. Lovie took a good football defense and made them greater. 20 sacks all year as a unit (lowest in NFL). A certain J.J.Watt, Aldon Smith or Von Miller have nearly that total individually.

Our defense is shockingly bad and I feel as if Lovie may not have gone about improving our system as well as Gus might do.

If I could hire Lovie as a DC, I'd do that in a heartbeat. Whether or not he could he be cohesive with the HC, is Caldwell's call and I feel either way this is the right direction for us.

Dammit. I was hoping to lose our offensive coordinator, not our defensive one. Ow well, watch the Jags get some great D next year.

Four teams left. Two will play in New Orleans for the Lombardi Trophy, and the other two will have to try again next season. Would your team prefer the former or the latter?

Congratulations to whomever wins the respective AFC and NFC championships today. Best of luck to the four surviving teams playing today.

Watching the 49ers - Falcons game... I watched last year's Championship game between the 49ers and the Giants in my boss's hotel room in downtown San Francisco... can't believe it's been a whole year since that memorable day... I missed the start of the game because I was giving a presentation at a conference... a mate of mine is going back to the same conference in two weeks time, which means that he'll be in SF during the Super Bowl, so I hope they win tonight!

Are the 49ers asleep out there?

Can't stop Juliiiiiiiiiiioooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

It's definitely looking that way. Kaepernick is looking good.

EDIT: AT THE GOAL LINE!!!! COME ON!!!!

First half of who I want to win is complete. Not as optimistic about the second half.

The Falcons are a bunch of cornball brothas. And man was Harbaugh ticked on that call, but the refs simply did not have enough evidence to turn it over.

It did hit, but the refs saw the left hand stay in possession of the ball, even if it slipped out a little.

Either way, the refs were going to get it wrong in the eyes of the fans, so they had to just let it go. Karma did strike in favor for the Niners though on the last Falcons drive.
