I'm glad the Steelers have a bye week coinciding with the last NASCAR race of the year. :D

Detroit somehow managed to win two games in a row. 3 wins for them this year now which is frankly one more win than I expected.

So the Texans welcomed the "J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!" today. Former Texans QB Ryan Fitzpatrick returned to Houston rocking different colors. The Texans looked to build on their stunning victory from Monday night on beating the then unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals. A win here would put Houston at the .500 mark. After 60 minutes of tackles and hits, we won 24-17. So it was a good week for the Texans for a change. Both the New York Jets and Houston are now 5-5 on the season. Also, it's three straight wins for the Texans.

Up next for the Texans... dem Saints. Yep. Dem' boys from "Nawlins" come down to H-Town next Sunday afternoon.

Five teams to make the playoffs in the AFC:
New England, Indy/Houston, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh.
Still in the hunt: Jaguars, Chiefs, Bills, Raiders.
Not making the playoffs: Jets, Ravens, Browns, Dolphins, Titans, Chargers.

How can one team look so hideous EVERY SINGLE primetime game they play?? It defies all odds. There is no explaining it.

(Down by 14 with a quarter left)

Bills at Patriots TONIGHT!

Not only is the AFC East in vogue tonight, the top half of the AFC East will clash tonight. Both teams wear red, white, and blue. One team is 5-4 while the other is... well, 9-0. All nine teams the New England Patriots have failed to defeat them. One unbeaten was finally beaten last Monday Night. Will another fall this Monday Night, or will the Patriots improve to 10-0? All will be settled tonight in the Boston area.

The line favors NE by 7 while the Over/Under is 48 points.

Enjoy tonight's game if you will be watching.

One thing I didn't understand about that fumble with 50 on the clock was that the clock should have been stopped, right? They were deciding whose ball it was, and the clock was ticking, and then they took a good 20 seconds to set it up on the line.

And it didn't make sense that they called the game when Sammy went out of bounds with 2 seconds to go.

Would have been cool to see the Bills get that extra Hail Mary play...you never know.

To many people, there is only one Thursday that matters in the NFL- Thanksgiving Thursday. To that end, it's time to start this week of NFL Football. Enjoy all of this weekend's games. The nightcap is an interesting one- Bears at Packers. You got "R-E-L-A-X, relax" (Green Bay) going up against "chill the f:censored: out" (Chicago, NBA). Always wanted to say that about these two.

Besides Thanksgiving... we got the New England Patriots at the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night this week. The Monday Night match will be the Baltimore Ravens at the Cleveland Browns.

Enjoy some NFL football. And of course, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you including your family and friends.

There is only one man who can conquer the Patriots' undefeated streak. He is THE BEAST, THE CONQUERER, THE ONE IN FIFTEEN AND ONE! BBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCK....OSWEILER!

Are you Brock's advocate? ;)

* The Philadelphia Eagles are (as I read) 6-0 all-time on Thanksgiving. Well, make that 6-1 as they got ran over in MoTown. The Detroit Lions turned the Eagles into roadkill with a 45-14 feasting frenzy.

* Carolina is 10-0 heading into Arlington, TX. They had no problem taking down Dallas with a 33-14 victory. Even worse for the Cowboys, Tony Romo suffered a season-ending (or potentially) injury.

Congratulations to whomever wins Chicago at Green Bay.

As a Lions fan, that was an awesome game. An absolute rout of an opponent for once (instead of being routed), The Lions played a compete game, and the offense that was looking like trash looked good.

Too late for the Lions winning streak, but still, what a great win. Despite they defeated my Raiders last week, I've always had a soft spot for them...

Now, If we could get Megatron for next season...

And of course, there was this:

Thank you Legend, you are the GOAT 4 me :)

It was 17-13 in Green Bay, WI as the Packers fell to the visiting Chicago Bears. Only score in the 2nd Half was a field goal by Chicago. So your winners for Thanksgiving 2015: 45-14 in favor of Detroit vs. Philadelphia, 33-14 in favor of Carolina at Dallas, and 17-13 in favor of Chicago at Green Bay.

Now it's time for everybody else to play their games.

Dem' Texans. Dem' Saints. Dat' NRG Stadium. Who dat say dey gon' beat dem Saints? It was the Texans... and we did- to the tune of a 24-6 victory. So for the first time this season, we're above .500 on the season. We managed to keep the Saints out of the end zone and relegate them to a pair of field goals. Mr. Justin James Watt asserted himself sacking Drew Brees. The 2015 Texans are now 6-5 on the season.

Up next for the Texans... at the Buffalo Bills next Sunday at Noon.

Congratulations to the other victors this week, including the Bengals spanking St. Louis in Cincinnati.

My Jets win today in convincing fashion but I'm bothered that they threw so much in the 1st half. They need to be more balanced. Anyway good win Fitzpatrick had a decent game but they still have issues

The Bills 'bout to whoop that a**.

Probably not. Deandre Hopkins might have a great game if Hoyer launches bombs to him with the Bills' weak safeties.

And the Bills offense is extremely weak with Gregg Roman running cheeky little dink n dunk or draw plays.

It would be nice if every Bengals game was a 1:00 Sunday afternoon affair. It's the only time period you know we will probably win. We stopped our 2 game losing skid with a relatively easy victory against the Rams. The defense was mighty impressive with 3 picks (one going for 6 the other way) and held Todd Gurley to only 19 yards on the ground.

The Bills once again falling flat on their face vs. Kansas City is not going to be something to help them from here on out.

Gronkowski had to be carted off from the field in closing minutes of Patriot game at Denver. Even if Pats hold onto this victory they are running out of players on offense. They've lost now I believe 7 of their starters. (3 offensive linemen, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 3rd down back).
