THIS JUST IN...

Tom Brady can dress up and go this season. The four-game suspension has reportedly been lifted as charges against him were recently overturned.

Thoughts on this?

On a different note, enjoy these final Preseason games and good luck to all of your teams.

The next round of contract negotiations will be interesting because the ruling itself sort of nullifies the "absolute power" of the commissioner that is stated in the contract. What I find funny is that it could have been settled sooner because Brady said he'd take a one game suspension, but Goodell didn't accept the offer because he wanted him out for four games.

I thought it was the other way around. That Brady refused any suspension but Goodell would have made it less if he admitted guilt.

21-14, Dallas defeats Houston tonight. It was also sad that Tom Savage got banged up in the game. So here is the Texans' 2015 Preseason: wins vs. San Francisco and at New Orleans; losses vs. Denver and at Dallas.

Texans suit up and go for the 2015 season starting against Kansas City on September 13.

Congratulations to all winners of their final Preseason matches. Don't forget to share your thoughts on the Tom Brady ruling if you want to share your thoughts on that matter.

In terms of vision and athletic ability he is a great player, but he struggles at the details like pass protection, something you'd expect from a rookie let alone a guy who never played football in his life.

Just saw the Cards traded for Matt Barkley. While anything at backup QB is great, (see: last year) I'm not so sure on a guy who lost his spot to Tim Tebow..

Tebow just got released by the Eagles.

When is he going to realize hes not cut out for the NFL? He played pretty bad in all the preseason games. His touchdown passes in the last preseason game were badly under thrown and he didnt see much easier throws open underneath.

Tebow's playoff run means nothing. Matt Flynn threw for 5 touchdowns in a game not too long ago and just got cut. And Tebow's college success had more to do with Urban Meyer's system and Percy Harvin then anything he did.

If he couldnt make it in the league's most QB friendly offense, then he really needs to move on.

Are you ready for some football? No, really... are you? The regular season begins TONIGHT! Every game from here on out, excluding the Pro Bowl, all matter. The first regular season game is tonight as the Pittsburgh Steelers are at the New England Patriots. Another quest for the Lombardi Trophy begins tonight and this week.

Enjoy Week 1 of NFL Football for the 2015 season, and good luck to all of your teams this season.

You know what you did. You were talking about how one wide receiver couldn't even catch a cold. You said Swiss cheese has better defense than the other team. Well, the time for talk is over and the time to play 'ball is now. So get ready for another epic journey as 32 teams begin their quest to make it to the Super Bowl and win the Lombardi Trophy. The early games will have nerves, but all will be fine once the games play themselves out.

As always, good luck to all of your teams this season.

Well that was interesting- Jets QB Fitzpatrick throws a pick to a defensive back and WR Marshall rips the ball out of the defensive back's hands to regain possession on the exact same play.

The first game of the season doesn't determine the season. With that said...

Here is a word I never used online until now- the Texans today were "turrible." We lost 27-20. The Texans had the longest active streak of first game wins with 5 straight wins. That streak is snapped as Kansas City was the better team. Our first play of the season was a completed pass... to Kansas City. Afterwards, the Texans dug themselves too deep a hole to get out of. We then switched from Brian Hoyer to Ryan Mallett at the QB position. LONG season for the Texans if performances like this become commonplace.

Up next... at the Carolina Panthers, in which I admit that Bank of America Stadium is becoming perhaps my favorite NFL stadium.

That's Texans Nation for you. So for the first time this season, I ask... how did your boys do today/tonight?

UK/Ireland based fans, what's the current story of coverage on terrestrial channels? I checked online and there were reports of Channel 4 ditching the coverage and BBC running a weekly highlights show(pretty much what I'm looking for) from November, is there anything before then?

Words cannot express how much I loathe Peyton Manning. When he was with the Colts the Ravens damn near played them every year, now they rarely play the Colts, but instead play the Broncos...in Denver...early in the season before old man Manning wears down. For Gods sake Peyton, just leave my team alone! You're too good... :-)

I don't know if it's a sign of how good they will be or just how awful the Raiders still are, but the Bengals put a whooping on Oakland. Dalton has so many weapons at his disposal now with a healthy team around him. Tyler Eifert appears to be the real deal.

(I also didn't mind having Hill and Eifert doing all the scoring, as they're on my fantasy team. :D)
