It's in-game, but only as a prize car for an event that will become available tomorrow.
Good sound:tup:
The car has a hybrid system in its current form.Just watched this @Downhill Dino I don't here a flywheel engaging and disengaging. I believe we are running without the hybrid system... will find out in 19 hours and 26 minutes for sure tho lol.
I was saying that the one in the game sounds like it does not.The car has a hybrid system in its current form.
gtr_lm_nismo_15.In the spring of 2014, The Nissan Motor Company announced that they would be participating in the LPM1 Hybrid class of the Le Mans 24 hour race in the following year, with a car carrying the GT-R badge. They revealed their car in February of 2015 and it had a revolutionary structure that no one had imagined! The car named the GT-R LM NISMO, a prototype racer that came after a 16 year hiatus from prototypes since the R391 in 1999, went against the norm by mounting its engine in the front; not only that, it was front-wheel drive. By mounting the engine in the front they had more freedom with the design of the car as a whole, enabling them to achieve an aerodynamic advantage. And it's no surprise that the unique ideas came from Ben Bowlby, who designed the chassis and body. This is the same man responsible for cars like the DeltaWing and the ZEOD RC. The body consists of a monocoque chassis and outer panels made of carbon, with a minimal weight of <880kg>. Under the long front nose is a 3 litre direct injection V6 with twin turbos, combined with an energy regeneration system. The drivers of the car are Nissan's home-grown Michael Krumm and Tsugio Matsuda, GT Academy graduates Lucas Ordóñez and Jann Mardenborough with their mentor Alex Buncombe, former F1 drivers Marc Gené and Max Chilton, along with Harry Tincknell and Olivier Pla who have a great history in sports car racing.....Nissan will be running two cars starting from the first round of the FIA World Endurance Championships and will be entering three cars in Le Mans 24 Hours, aiming for an overall victory.
Yeah, at the Audi it's gonna pa... never mind. How can you take it seriously? It's sticking its tongue out!

A flywheel on front axle is spun under braking and the inertia it creates is used for the acceleration on corner exit. It's better explained in the above Jay Leno's Garage video (10:59) 👍According to Bowbly, the GT-R LM Nismo has a mechanical energy recovery system and not an electrical. I don't know exactly how do that works but it may be normal if we haven't the typical electric engine sound when the hybrid system power the car.
5.2.3 La quantité d’Energie libérée par les MGUs est limitée aux valeurs décrites à l’Annexe B.
5.2.3 The amount of Energy released from the MGUs is limited to values described in Appendix B.
So they can store energy on there out lap and use it all 8MJ on the run up to the timeing line, then they have another 8MJ for the flying lap. Clever...http://www.fia.com/events/world-endurance-championship/season-2015/fia-endurance-committee
Here is the appendix B on sheet n°15-D0019-LMP1
It seems the rules changed since last year on the energy recovered. But Porsche can also store the energy up to the last corner and release 8MJ between the last corner and the finish line while the other competitors can only release about 1MJ maximum on this straight line.
Yes, my quote is out of the updated 2015 regs, I downloaded the PDF, including the appendix B, on May, 18th. But it still talks about released energy limit. Storage is unlimited I guess. 👍http://www.fia.com/events/world-endurance-championship/season-2015/fia-endurance-committee

Well, I'm now very glad I quickly ran through the GTA events this morning. I must drive it, I must photograph it, I must stop at mating with it
Can't wait for the update that seemingly removes or bar-codes the 24h logo for no apparent reason at all /s
You're right, it's the heritage "R", but the real car has the same logo.just noticed the "GTR" logo on the steering wheel is sort of incorrect its the heritage "R" used for the R34 and before not like the current logo used on the outside of the car
I wonder when will we get full cars withot livery removal or bar codes or blur.If you'll notice, they've already blanked out the WEC logo on the car (much like how the blanked out the WEC logo on the Toyota).
So is this a new sound effect on this Nismo, just before tunnel entry?
I can't remember hearing it on other cars before. AES misfire effects were added two updates back.
