No SRF Friends Group (link to list in OP)

@JujiroMatsuda your tune is now gracing the top 20 twice! I am ranked 17 on the RX7 TT, which puts me in second place in the USA. You are officially my favorite tuner, that car is a dream.

Jeez, where do you guys come from?? Many congrats!!! What have I produced?? Two monsters that can slay aliens.lol I can only be happy and proud of you and myself:sly: I enjoy watching aliens struggle against raising stars:D They better step up or you guys will take their positions any minute:lol:

Just noticed this thread. I always use no aids in TTs (though I have used ABS in the C7 Corvette at the Nürburgring GT5 TT before) and am interested in joining the list.

My PSN is "marunda" if anyone wants to fire a FR my way. :)

Ummm... @JujiroMatsuda, how do you get 334hp with your tune? I have to take my hp down to 282 to make the PP limit? You suggest a Power Limiter value of 96.1% and I have to go to 81.1%??? At 96.1% my hp matches what you suggest but PP is 521??? I'm confused?

Did you do an oil change prior to tune? No oil change for tune.
Worked for me on two cars in two different GT6 accounts...
....no issue @ 334HP/500PP.
Power parts: Sports Computer, Racing Exhaust.

Nope, no oil change...I did the weight reductions and got the same weight as you (1039kg) There's obviously something very different though...I'm barely able to get into to the 1'34.xxx bracket at the moment??? Is anyone else having trouble getting this to work???

I don't have access to the PS3 right now but I think I did put Flat Floor on...I'll check to see if taking that off corrects the power difference...good pick up 👍

Was just about to suggest that... but never mind you figured it out. Flat floor indeed adds exactly 21 extra PP points. The car loses good 30km/h top speed, substantial gain on cornering speed but you can achieve quite a lot of grip from conventional downforce and it costs no PP:tup:

edit: Speaking of which that top guy RB26's setup is very unique, makes me almost wonder if it's legit. For start he has some cambers, from photo mode it's clear there are small amount of it and he lets the car roll a bit, relatively softer suspension and lower ARB. No rear wing, no underfloor, reaches 250km/h on straight but he can go through those zigzag chicane in mid section without lifting off the throttle while every other aliens are forced to do so. He had some legit top 10 spots in the past so I guess he's a master of weight transfer timing to get that cornering.

Thanks for the positive words gentlemen:tup: I wholeheartedly love this car from the bottom of my heart. A Mazda with rotary engine with unparalleled handling chassis. I had to tune it with my utmost respect for the late and great Mr Jujiro Matsuda, a founder of Mazda automotive. I hope I did the justice.

Speaking of car feel, well we all dislike SRF and prefer the natural handling that's why we're in this group we must like the similar handling.

Anyway I better get back to this event I'm dropping LB like rock.lol

Anyone feel like that the No SRF group is even more necessary because of PD calling out "Modders"? I like a small group of drivers that are committed....Are there Modders that hack with No SRF?...Seems a contradiction....just thinking out loud...Thoughts?

Well if any of them are on your FR LB, and were tagged, and had their PSN banned...
...you will know over time if that PSN no longer registers for the TTs...

...and/or if the OP receives requests to add new PSNs...
...from GTP members with PSN's previously published in OP's list.

There might be exceptions to this, in event someone's hybrid mutt ate their PSN. :sly:

Are there anyone be bothered to hack cars to enter LB with NO SRF? Is it to score a time, say top 50, to get ranked among other legit SRFers to boast "hey, look at my time I'm 30th or whatever without SRF:sly:, my time is faster than this alien with it on!:sly::sly:" ...?

@JujiroMatsuda
If common sense is applied, I think so.
But you just never know anymore.

@Crozzlow
Nothing to to lose sleep over.
I don't think guys a few places below on LB would stop there.
If its done, they might as well go for the whole enchilada, not just a small bite.

I'd say they deliberately avoid being ranked top 10 so their replays won't be submitted. In GT5 they deliberately aimed 11th time, or somewhere closer.

But even if they mistakenly waded into top10 time and people discover the guy is cheating, what PD can do about it? The reason they don't let whole LB data to be available for people to see is they don't want those cheaters to be exposed - if any cheater gets exposed they get complaints and they get forced to spend some man hour to address that and that's something they cannot possibly be bothered to do. I'm not even going to say this is my mere speculation, I let it sound as if it's a fact and let PD to personally refute me, I dare they would.

Well, this thread is about having fun driving so let's just do that shall we? I apologise for letting dark side of me getting out a bit:P

Hey guys :D Thank you for your kind words!Just made a video for fun lol Since you guys are talking about slaying dragons, I think you will laugh with this :)Keep it up! :D

Quick but a freind went quicker, would be interested to see who had the top SRF off time on this one, enjoyed it but never did hook a complete lap myself.

Congratulations on times posted everyone!

Good luck with the new TT's!

Also, I should say a belated thanks to backnfourth for coming up with the idea of a No SRF friends group 👍
I'm having a great time chasing all your blue lines.

If anyone's interested I'm just over three weeks in using the wheel and things are starting to feel more comfortable.
If you are a DS3 user thinking about converting, prepare for a dip in form. It's worth the effort though.
I think I might have close to parity in lap times with my DS3 now, but without the consistency. I need to learn to correct better, no lock to lock with the flick of a thumb!

Really enjoying the new TT's! Only tried the Mustang TT so far, but I, and I hope all og you will enjoy the rest of the TT's. Great job everyone, and hope you all enjoy them!

What wheel are you getting yourself, @SW__10 ?
