I'm going to start off differently with this report and say how dissapointed I am with some of our racers.
I am aware that not all drivers can make every race but I do expect people to let me know if they can't make it.
Too many people have let us down by not showing up, this is not cool 👎
I will shortly give a list of the drivers that have been cut from the championship.
Race 6 Was another action packed affair with far too much happening for me to remember let alone write
I Got off to an awful start and didn't make it past the loading screen just before the green light
This did mean that I could watch the race however and that made for good viewing.
I have watched the replay a few times since and was very impressed with the racing on show. From the back to the front there were great battles and some top notch overtaking. So many guys are model pros week after week and it is a real pleasure to, usually, race with them.
I will be honest that as a big race fan I was really watching the action up top when watching live and really enjoyed watching Jonzster's battle with R35. Time after time these two swapped positions up front and they were matched for pace by Toffe untill an error dropped him back.
Sicwhitt had a very good race and was right alongside Toffe battling for third after Toffe's slip up. These two had an awsome fight right untill the end and showed good composure to race wheel to wheel for so long! Sicwhitt took the last spot on the podium gaining three places from his qualifying position and picking up great points for himself and his team.
Jackargent had another solid race and picked up another coupe of points after gaining three places from his qualifying position.
Most weeks this would of been enough to gain him the Spirit of the GTRC award but as three drivers were tied this week no bonus points will be awarded.
Jonzster is untouchable at the moment. Everytime R35 passed him he would answer back with a precise manouver to regain his position.
He didn't step a foot out of line all race. His overtakes were not only all clean they were class! He stayed within the white lines of the track and never put his opponents in any dangerous situations. You are a true racer Jonzster and more than deserve your victories so far 👍
R35 Skyline has been a controversial figure of late and for that reason I kept a close eye on him at La Sarthe.
He is a very fast racer, his second place and close battle with Jonzster are proof of that, but to be blunt he sometimes makes stupid decisions.
In this race I watched him try to go for gaps that were not there and trade paint on several occasions which is forgivable.
The thing that annoyed me was what I believe to be deliberate corner cutting at the second to last turn.
I'm not saying he flew across the chicane like some kid but we adopt a two wheels at all time rule which I feel he abused and may of broken.
As always I will let our steward know this and he will decide the fate of the racer.
There is also an ongoing investigation about R35 and Sicwhitt's collision last week.

A special mention has to be given to Monkey who stepped in for Seb at 5 minutes notice and managed a more than respectable 7th place in his championship debut. Huge thank you for stepping up and racing with us 👍
